Best hotels & accommodations in Blackpool

Just back from a weekend stay and apart from the weather, cannot fault this hotel. Location is perfect, away from the noise of central Blackpool and although only parking for about 5 cars, there was parking on a side street. Room was spacious and very clean with 2 large arm chairs which is uncommon in our previous visits to other hotels in Blackpool. Staff were very fr...

Came for illuminations, the hotel is dated as you can see from the photos, but we had not come to inspect lampshades for dust, I had brought my 7 year old to enjoy the illuminations. Tram Stop directly outside, 24 hour parking for £3 in hotel car park, Room was tired and so were we so had a lovely nights sleep in the comfy bed which had clean sheets. We had the breakfa...

After reading the reviews i thought oh god where have i booked lol I arrived at the savoy. check in was good friendly staff. check in was at 3pm. Bar was warm and again friendly staff, they have a happy hour lager a pint was £2.50 then after the happy hour you cold get two pints of bear or lager for £5.00. My room was on the third floor, it was warm and cosy. the be...

The location is virtually opposite the tower so its a 5 star for that, the rooms well let's say faulty towers. the was very small and you had no chance of seeing out of the windows due to the muck on them. I upgraded our room to the "Nelson Suite" and to be fair for £55 per night it was good, four poster bed, jacuzzi bath, kitchen area with a microwave and ironing fac...

Extremely cheap, run down B&B style hotel. Noisy kitchen staff from 6:00am onwards, other guests extremely noisy and playing music at 6:30am, doors through corridors banging with noisy lose floor boards. The lift was out of order during our stay. I cannot think of one nice feature of this hotel. Blackpool itself was also a let down, so many low class people throughout...

we booked a room for 2 adults and 3 children, upon arrival we then found out our room was with a shared bathroom which didnt state when we booked,so they offered us a “flat” ...well what can we say,it appeared to be an old pub, kinda dungeon feeling to it,my kids didnt want to stay and certainly not sleep there, living room had a little 2 seater cane settee (theres 5 of u...

The owners were amazing nothing was to much trouble . They made you feel so welcome and were very knowledgeable about what to see where to go how to get the best tickets anything we wanted to know . Accomadation was great clean and comfortable breakfast brilliant cooked just how I like it .Top marks all round A Big Thank you

Our expectations of Bkackpool accommodation were already low, and at £40 incl breakfast it was bargain. Tiny tired drab room, awful hard small noisy bed. Decent enough size shower though no gel or any simple toiletries. TV worked which must make the difference as other elderly guests Moana’s no remote. Gent managing the show was polite and doing his best. Friendly blok...

Came to Blackpool as two couples for 1 night to see Blackpool illuminations, perfect location out of the hustle and bustle and only 10 minute cab ride into centre. Hotel clean and lovely, swimming pool and spa good, didn't use the gym but that also looked good. Breakfast lovely would defiantly stay again.

Saw the price on here and booked it but the price was an error and when I got to the hotel I expected problems but Joey the receptionist was very friendly and when saw the price I paid smiled and wished me a great stay and I was treated with respect and was welcomed. I would stay here again and the rooms and bathroom was great.

Upon arriving at tbe hotel I was told I nedded to pay £130 for the room because Agoda hadnt transferred the money. I was told that I could stay one night because I had kids but it would need to be sorted out in the morning. All this even though I showed my voucher from Agoda.

After a horrendous experience at a hotel in North Shore during the lights, we booked this hotel for 4 nights in the May half term. They actually own the 2 Danescourt Hotels either side as well, our room was a family room in The Danescourt. The room was large, had a double bed, bunk beds, separate toilet and walk in shower. The room was spotless clean and obviously re...

Oh how we hate stairs :-) but sometimes you don't have much choice but that is Blackpool. We had 2 rooms and each was the same but different. Dated & worn but reasonably clean. The bathrooms were really quite roomy a bit of a surprise there. What interactions we had with the staff were pleasant and accommodating making our stay that much easier.

Thank you very much for all you have done for us, we really enjoyed our stay and it was a pleasure meeting you all. We loved our room, it was spacious even with a baby cot next to the bed as we traveled with a toddler. Its a very clean Hotel. The breakfast is excellent and very delicious! Staff is fantastic and very helpful. I would recommend it to family, friends and...

Fantastic location, 15 mins either way to pleasure beach or the tower. Room was clean, although quite dated but the whole of Blackpool seems like it hasn't had a lick of paint since the 70s!!! Lovely staff. Has parking but beware, the car park entrance is very narrow and we had to be guided in.

My partner & I had booked to stay in one of there sister hotels with our 3 young children, at our arrival we were informed that we'd booked a stag and hen hotel :-/ the manager was really happy to move us into York St hotel :-) great staff, all you need for a base to stay and it's in perfect location.

Lovely hotel excellent facilities and extremely clean The small but dedicated staff team couldn’t do enough to keep us happy and to ensure we were well looked after And a hearty breakfast fit for a king Going to Blackpool give this hotel a shout you won’t regret it

the only down sides was the shared shower on my level was not working so had to go up to the next level and there it was only look warm also could not get the wifi to work room was basic no tv only a wall heater keep the room nice and warm if you expect four star this is not the place for you just a place to rest after your night out which was value for money £12.00 fo...

Pros: location, entertainment, staff, management, en suite with bath, 3 course dinner (tea). Which was unexpected. Maybe hotel should make it clearer this is what you get for your money, not just 1 course but 3 with tea/coffee. Definite bonus. Cons: very small room for a family, although maybe not hotels fault. Agodo website said 2 adults and 2 children. It was j...

Fantastic place to stay, rooms really clean and comfy beds. The breakfast is superb (huge) and the owners truly wonderful, attentive, and kind. There is a bar and even a resident parrot "Monty". Its only 5 mins away from the promenade and trams, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay and will be going back very soon. Andrew & Kerry x

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the room was very nice and comfy. A good location near a tram stop, the hotel itself is hard to miss when you reach Blackpool from the motorway, useful on-site parking, tasty breakfast and a nice bar. I would consider staying again and recommend it to a friend. The only downside for me was the soundproofing, being a light...

The street view and position could put people off but don't be. Once you step through the beautiful front doors and go up the wide staircase to reception on first floor you're in another world. The staff are friendly, cheery and efficient. It's a hotel with age but it has charm, it's unique, a little bit quirky but our bed was comfy, the room was warm, plenty of lighti...

The hotel is inexpensive and I was greeted by my host Paul who was very friendly. The rooms are quite small but have must convenience you could need . Tea , coffee etc. However the bedding had not been changed prior to my arrival and there were hairs on sheets and pillows. The towels I was supplied at start of the stay were not changed the whole duration. On the Wednes...

Our room was great fab views nice furnishings, but unfortunately the mattress springs were uncomfortable. we went for breakfast and ordered full English women said it would be ten minutes and to help ourselves to cereals which we did. problems was it arrived before I had finished my cereal . the young man stood there with it in his hand waiting for me to finish. we rea...

We received a warm welcome on arrival after pulling up outside the hotel I had my doubts but the proprietors were friendly evertime they seen us they would ask if all was OK and if we needed anything for the room just ask not to far from North pier the weather was not the best but that's Blackpool for you would go there again

All in all our stay was ok, atmosphere in the dining room was wierd and as long as you try to look past the grime then if you are simply after somewhere to rest your head for one night this hotel serves it's purpose. Disappointed that there was no where near to park except overpriced pay and display :0(

While only staying for one night, we were fortunate to spend the evening chatting to the hosts in the bar. It was obvious that both hosts had a real interest and commitment to what they were doing and high standards. We would recommend the Springfield Hotel for a friendly stay in Blackpool.

Perfect location. Clean and very comfortable bed and welcoming host. The only disappointment was that the room did not look like the one I'd seen in the pictures. Our room was much, much smaller and not as smart, and that picture had influenced my decision to book this guesthouse over others in the area.

We booked this hotel online and on the day we left it took us a while to find it as it was the wrong postcode, the picture it showed online of the hotel was nothing like the actual hotel.when we eventually found it it was like something from an horror movie, the man on reception didn't know we was coming because he said our booking hadn't come through,I showed him the em...

Nice hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms clean and tidy. Could do with shower room update but still clean and usable. Breakfast was full English staff quick to serve and breakfast was really good and hot. Parking available. Nice hotel would stay again

This hotel is lovely both inside and out, the architecture is fab. The rooms are comfortable and basic but reflect the price. Based in a quiet location on the sea front away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool but within a short walk away. The bedrooms and bathrooms feel a bit tired there were a few flys and some mould around the bath handles. The rooms are comfort...

The Hotel was fantastic and the Breakfast was amazing.Mick and Nick know how to make you feel like special guests and it was truly a 5 star experience. To eat out we were recommended all that is good in Blackpool .We will return for sure when our boy is a bit bigger for the pleasure beach. Final mention for the Breakfast again , AMAZING !

i was very pleased with the service from this guest house. the rooms had everything you would have wanted and the food at breakfast was first class. i could not have wanted any more from this service. would recommend this to anyone who was travelling to blackpool on business or pleasure

Hotel manager William was very helpful and kind to us and he made us feel very welcome to his hotel. Hotel was a lovely place to stay and atmosphere was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay 3 nights in Rossdene House and we can highly recommend this hotel to couples.

As we couldnt stay there as the firm I booked through called Agoda double booked us but didnt make that clear from their email back to us several days later, I cant write a review apart from the fact that the owner, I think his name was Phillip was more than helpful regarding the mess of the booking and even contacted us a few days before we were due to go because our ...

Traveler impressions of Blackpool
The main prom was great with plenty to do, it was well maintained and the beach was clean. The back streets and shopping area was disappointing and looked run down and tacky!
Blackpool is a vacation area for local people, however, it is still too cold and windy for us to leisure there.
Main reason we go to Blackpool is for the dancing in the Tower Ballroom. We also enjoy walking the prom or beach North/South Shore There is also becoming more quality restaurants The council are obviously trying to improve cleanliness on the front the trams are a big improvement
Have been visiting Blackpool for many years and it has a charm all its own. The Pleasure beach continues to attract, the horse drawn carriages , Harry Ramsdens, the piers with the various entertainments, the Tower itself.
