Best hotels & accommodations in Bundaberg

This is the fourth time we stay here and The Point Bargara never disappoints. No, this is not a 5 star hotel but you are not paying 5 star prices either, far from that. Everyone working here delivers great customer service and that keeps us coming back. The units are well equipped and size is quite good. A home away from home I would say. To me it is a gem at affordab...

I arrived in Bundaberg to a warm welcome from the staff, they went out of their way to help in every way. The rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. I cant really say anything negative about my stay, i would stay there again. All this for a very reasonable price

Lovely big room, very clean, comfortable bed. I was surprised there was no microwave as browsing on the net implied there could be a kitchenette - it seems this is only in the "self-contained" units. Motel prices in Bundaberg including this one seem inordinately high for what you get, especially when there seemed to be very low occupancy. In the past I have just driven...

It is a typical regional country town motel. So, don't expect too much. That said, it is very close to the Bundaberg CBD and 500 metres away from a shopping centre. Pub/Restaurant with good quality food is only 20 metres away (The Spotted Dog) plus a 24 hour take-a-way across the road. The one staff member I had dealing with had a very pleasant and very typically Aus...

our room was beautiful, the resort is in a perfect location, the kitchen was perhaps better stocked with equipment than my own at home, the managers were beyond helpful. Nothing quite like coming home to ocean views and a steamy hot spa bath... i would recommend this reset to anyone, we were there for business, however didn't get quite as much done as we should have, a...

Fantastic spacious family room. There were four of us in a family room and this was a perfect stopover for an early morning flight from Bundaberg. The room and bathroom could not have been cleaner and facilities for making tea etc were better than expected. Only downside was the road noise from the main road on which the motel is located but this is going to be an iss...
only stayed one night but it is in walking distance to the train station the city centre and so many different takeaways a easy stroll away, staff were friendly helpful, shower was best pressure ever, didnt give me milk for my coffee but that was the only downfall, room was nice tv reception was great and had cable

Loved the caravan park. Staff so friendly & helpful. Caravan wonderful overlooking park & beach. Had everything you could wish for..air con, microwave, hob, hairdryer, tv, even left tea, coffee & milk. Bed & pillows so comfy. Shower powerful & hot. Plenty of towels. Spotlessly clean. Great location if you want to see turtles at mon repos. Loved our short stay. Thoroug...

We travel extensively and these were amongst the best apartments we have stayed in....They are realistically priced, well appointed for morning sun, well heated if required and modern. The managers are friendly and helpful. Parking is secure with lift access. They are not on the beach but in a relatively quiet part of Bargara...10 minutes walk to the beach and 15 min...

Very Good. Comfortable, Quiet, Handy to everything and relaxing. Could do with more and organised parking area. Would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bundaberg, having tried many other places of accommodation in the area, this is the best so far.

Located on a quiet street around the corner from everything, feels like the right place to stay. The rooms are spacious and lovely. You cannot beat the staff, everyone that worked there was amazing and always offer help and great tips for around town. The food available was delicious with a lot of options. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in if you want the best homel...

Bundaberg wasnt in my orginal travel plan but I'm so glad I stopped by. Great town with lots to see and do and this hostel is definetly the place to stay while doing it. Very friendly, family like atmosphere with comfy beds and nice facilities. Great location and brilliant value for money, best hostel I've stayed in so far!

Stayed for 5 nights at The Bourbong Street Motel. From my experience it was clean and comfortable. The owner, Ian, was friendly and helpful with my check in and check out, and able to help me with anything I need. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the Bundaberg CBD. But there are a few places to grab something to eat, right next door to the Motel, e.g - KFC, Dominos Pi...

I enjoyed my stay very much, I was well looked after by the staff who even recommended great places to have dinner and drinks which helped make my stay in Bundaberg even more enjoyable. The room was well set out and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Bundaberg.

Best kept secret for business travelers! Seriously - although the rooms are a little old now, they have everything you need, are comnfortable and the view is truly stunning. Nothing like finishing a days work by sitting on the balcony enjoying the sea breeze. And then...there is the restaurant! Truly nothing like it in the Bundy/Bargara region that I know of.

Very comfy main bed but bunks squeaked when the kids rolled over. But we all had a great quiet nights sleep. Lots of room to relax or eat outside on both sides of the room. Meals were great value but not to our taste. Outside has lots to entertain smaller kids. But most important the owners are bright and bubbly and helpful. We would stay here again.

stayed 1 nite whilst in Bundaberg . Hotel is right on the esplanade & close to the hotel next door as well as many shops & restaurants . Room was small but we expected that as it wasa studio room . If staying longer than 1 nite would suggest upgrading to a larger room

We got the first level room. Luckily it's level 1, because the view of the sea and sunrise would have been blocked by the trees on level 2 - 4. The apartment comes with every thing we need from cooking to TV speaker and everything. There's a couple of shops nearby and the Kacys restaurant serve really great food and dessert. The staff working working there are really w...

We stayed this motel only one night on the way to the Sunshine Coast from the Barrier Reef. It was very clean and well designed the room. It located to near the centre and had few restaurants around and also it is right next to the train station so we could take a train next morning very easily

It does not look like much, but upon closer examination, the owners care about their property. First off, the room was clean, the furnishings were up to date including TV, comfortable mattress, 2 nice interwoven chairs, and wifi that worked. Looking further, the owners provided overhead parking, an outside sheltered picnic area with "barbie", and attractive landscapi...

I was very happy with the motel. It is quite a typical Bundaberg motel - older style and basic. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including free wi-fi. It is great value for money accommodation, in a terrific central location and with friendly staff.

Traveler impressions of Bundaberg
It was a very clean town with beautiful gardens. Full of history and quiet a lot to see in Bundaberg itself and and close surrounding area.
Bundaberg is a good place to live. They have more hospitals, lifestyles, good view for tourist and much more.
Well established town, recently ravaged by floods, but now getting back to normal. The best thing about Bundaberg is the proximity to numerous beaches, some a drive away, but not too crowded.

More about Bundaberg
The historically misspelled Bourbong Street serves as the main street, and it is along here that some of the city’s old buildings can be discovered. Those interested in the city’s industry and the making of ginger beer or rum can visit such sites as the Bundaberg Barrel or the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. True enthusiasts of early aviation will certainly need to visit the Hinkler House Memorial Museum, which is located in the Botanic Gardens. Also found in the gardens is a restored steam train. On the natural side, tropical fish can be fed and swam with, and if traveling between December and February, there is a chance to see the sea turtles nesting.
Be sure to check out the interactive map of Bundaberg for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
