Hidden secret, one of the best in Fiji, only con would be the limited tv chanel’s in the room as half of them don’t work Need more verity on dinner menu when staying there awhile, you go back to the same after a couple of days Indian menu fantastic but needs more variety and more garlic on the naan bread but it’s great Keep the prices low and you will need to book as...

We had a brilliant family holiday at the Outrigger. The pool was amazing, plenty of dining options at a reasonable price, kids club was brilliant and it was the best holiday we've had. The drive to the Coral Coast is worth it and the rooms were clean and worked well for our family.

we stayed at the warwick for 8 nights, it is far from the airport but we didn't mind, we wanted to stay on the coral coast for the snorkelling and it was worth it. there is plenty of great coral to look at right in front of the resort. we had breakfast included and the egg chef was great- made delicious omeletes to order as you wait. our stay was easy, we did a tour ea...

Maui Palms is one of the best places to stay in Fiji. We arrived early in the morning and provided us breakfast and a temporary room before our room was ready. All staff worked very hard and friendly: Tina, Lani, Joe, and Ben were wonderful. All guests were nice people and we have had good connections. Kava ceremony was a big night. We learned Fijian cultures too. ...

I'd recommend the Hideaway to anyone. Not only suitable for families as there is a wide range of activities for not just the kids, but the parents too. It's also ideal for couples wanting a quiet holiday. The food was fantastic with a fabulous buffet breakfast, with just about anything you'd want to eat, to a varied restaurant menu at very generous prices. It was all ...

I travelled solo as was looking to unwind and had a fantastic time. The resort is luxurious and classy. The hotel is set along Natadola Bay which is quite stunning and even though the resort has a lot of rooms, it has been very well designed to ake advantage of its surroundings, never felt crowded and was always possible to get a chair around the pool. Whilst the hotel...

What can I say? This Hotel is professional run, welcoming and in an ideal location on the Coral Coast. My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights in a Deluxe room which was modern well appointed with comfortable furnishings, hot shower, good aircon and clean. The reception staff are professional managed and polite. The Bar and waiter staff are friendly and great singers! It is lik...

I liked Momi Bay, however I cannot recommended it without some degree of caveats. First the advertised "large double beds" which I was lead to believe where Queensize are just doubles. They are comfortable - however when you are 6'4" these are uncomfortable - you don't fit. To me the Marriott has underdone the bedding on the standard rooms, yes you can pay more for...

We have stayed at the Gecko over 20 times for pleasure and business, the Staff are great and go out of their way to please. The small resort is perfect for a base on the Coral Coast, low stress and simple layout, means it is like a second home, if you really want the bright lights and big party then maybe this isn't the place for you. But they do have one of the best ...

Staff were so wonderful throughout our entire stay. Ate out at a few bigger resorts and the service we received at these places didn't even compare to the team at Crows Nest. Great food selection, nice pool and decent bar. Fantastic location right on the beach with a selection of other dining options nearby. One thing to note if you haven't visited Fiji, it is quite f...

BEST pick on the Coral Coast in my opinion. Very hard to fault this place. Perfect for those who don’t wish to pay 5 star prices /impersonal BIG RESORT vibe but don’t want to backpack. Great price, stunning location (nice crescent bay), good food, friendly staff and modest but comfortable rooms.

Beautiful resort with everything you need. Amazing pool with ocean view, awesome cocktails and friendly helpful staff. Being there over Fiji Day was perfect, we had such a great fun day with the staff, watching talented local entertainment and trying Kava. Honeymoon suite was great, water and insect spray provided (although luckily we didn't really have too many mosqui...

right from the first step into this amazing resort, we just fell in love with the people of fiji. they are so friendly, courteous and always willing to bend over backwards for their guests. nothing is any trouble to them (fiji time). the naviti was everything we had imagined, a tropical paradise right on the coral coast. can't wait to go back again.

What a magical place. Set on the beach, the villas are spacious and comfortable. Beds could do with an upgrade but didn’t affect the sleep quality. If you love sleeping to the sound of the ocean, this is for you. Horses walk across the beach and there are kayaks available for use. We loved Charlie the hotels dog and her puppies, there were 12 little bundles of joy ski...

I had a wonderful time at Namuka. Staff were always friendly and welcoming, still your privacy is always respected. I stayed in a beachfront unit with a shared veranda, just a stone throw away from the beautiful lagoon. The unit was really nice with an outdoor shower. Snorkeling was pretty okay for the coral coast, but of course not as stunning and diverse as on the ou...

We Instantly felt relaxed from the moment we arrived at the resort. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming and we met Tia the new resort manager the day before we left who also made sure we felt looked after. The food was generous and tasty as were the cocktails. The only thing I could mention is the sea isn't very good for bathing but that's to be expec...

The place is perfect for relaxing and just lay in the sun. Coral coast have perfect water, with basicaly no waves. Hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful. The food is somehow limited to a few dishes and the closest restaurant is 1 hour drive close. Good place for the money .

Although we only stayed 3 nights, it was absolutely heavenly. Rooms are clean. Views of the sea are perfect, spoilt for choice of dining outlets. Overall, we were very impressed at the size of the hotel and the friendly staff! We felt so welcomed the moment we step onto the Island. From the security gate Staff with his hearty "BULA", no matter how late or early in...

The Wellesley. What an absolutely stunning place. Surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens in a remote part of the coral coast. It has the most amazing views, a beautiful pool and gorgeous beach with white sand, and a beautiful lively lagoon full of fish and coral. It's paradise here and only made more enjoyable by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Specia...

Really enjoyed our short stay at the Natadola Beach Resort. Resort arranged transport from the airport (and return) for a very good rate. When we arrived we were greeted by Bob and his team, to a very friendly welcome. While the room was somewhat dated it was very comfortable and relaxing. The meals were fantastic (better than the hotel next door) and great value. We ...

This is overpriced. There is a very serious lack of maintenance with this place (I find it hard to call it a hotel). There a front doors with holes that let rain through and with handles barely functioning. The showers and bathrooms are a very bad joke. There is the hazard of broken glass on the beach that if someone bothered to think about and cared , would have been ...

Our stay at Maui Bay got off to a bad start due to a bad taxi experience but that is where the bad stopped. If you are looking for 5 star this is not it but the staff were fantastic and it was clean as a whistle. All the facilities are there, a bit dated but freshly painted. Big advantage having the Supermarket next door and the Beach House. We didn't use the restauran...

Traveler impressions of Coral Coast
Such a beautiful area, stunning coastline, super friendly people, great fishing and surfing, lots to see and do, anything will be possible
Coral Coast is good for snorkeling at high tide. Other than that, there is not much in the way of swimming at the beach.
It is a nice area but really nothing around to see except the Natadola beach which you have to go through inter continental hotel and the hotel itself.
Very nice view and the beach is clean and so long that can you run. The sea amazing. To the Intercontinental Hotel you can find what ever you want!
Its quite disturbing to see the hotels taking such large profits that do not appear to be getting shared with the general population, most of whom appear to be living below the poverty line,
The Coral Coast is close to great beaches, shopping at Sigatoka, Waterfall tour and other islands. It's fairly central to many places of interest.
It's not nearly as beautiful as the islands, but you don't need to catch a ferry so perhaps more convenient for some.

More about Coral Coast
Island living, leisure, and luxury abound within the Coral Coast. Gorgeous beaches offer paradise for those looking to sit back in the sand and take in the views. They are also excellent jumping off points for the diving that can be experienced here. Away from the waters, heading inland leads to Sigatoka Valley. This area is nicknamed “Fiji’s Salad Bowl” for the green fields that patchwork the land. Lawai and Nakbuta are two villages found along the way and offer handicrafts for sale. Past Nakbuta, a steep road goes along a narrow ridge. Those who can brave the journey are rewarded with amazing panoramic views. Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park boasts an extensive dune system as well as an archaeological site that is said to be 3,000 years old. The Coral Coast also caters to the eco-tourist with Kula Eco Park – Fiji’s only wildlife park.
Accommodation is readily available with the Coral Coast. A range of properties cater to the budget backpacker or the high-end businessman. Be sure to check out the interactive map of Coral Coast for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
