Dubai hotels & places to stay

We were certainly wowed by our large deluxe 2 bed apartment overlooking the marina. Staff were so attentive, polite and friendly throughout the hotel. We had two slight issues which were dealt with immediately to our satisfaction. When they heard it was our anniversary we arrived back in the evening to find a fabulous cake in our fridge, a really nice gesture. Room service very reasonably priced "for Dubai" and the hotel itself was a great deal from Agoda "for Dubai" - note that Dubai must the the most expensive place in the world to holiday. Wifi was excellent. Two supermarkets and many restaurants nearby. Frontline to the marina. Only downside was that the pool only had sunlight until midday, which is fine if you're out and about a lot. I definitely recommend the hotel, however. Be nice and respectful and the staff will be nice and respectful to you too.

During the past 3 years I have stayed at 11 different hotel in Dubai (from Bur Dubai to Barsha to Discovery Gardens). This is probably "the best value for money" of the hotels that I have stayed at. Located close to ADBC metro station and with easy access to malls and other retail facilities at Bur Juman and Bur Dubai. The hotel rooms are larger than average and well equipped. Staff have been friendly and helpful. Facilities are of a reasonably good standard. Overall - well worth booking.

Location is good. Nearby about 2 blocks away, Delma cafe serve cheap & good food. Hotel is just one stop by metro away from Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall. Check-in is fast by experience front desk. Required AED500 as deposit. Lift need to key in floor number to go up. Lift operates very fast so does the hotel wifi. Super excellent. Was upgraded room with the Burj Khalifa. Can view the Burj Al Arab too.... Hotel is just short distance from metro about 3mins walk. They do provide hair dryer, iron, toilet amenities except toothbrush and tooth paste. Fortunately brought along. Can buy from convenience store nearby (next to Delma cafe). Did not book with breakfast so unable comment however saw in lift the buffet dinner on is Thursday is cheap around AED149 for guest rate... Swimming is on 47th floor but very windy... Overall the hotel has good location, excellent cleaniness, forever helpful & smiling staffs from top till bottom. Will definitely recommend friends and will return in the future

Excellent. It was very easy to reach shopping malls in Dubai by metro, taxi or bus plus everything you would need from coffee shops, pharmacies, restaurants, rent a cars and supermarkets are only walking distance from the hotel. We will recommend the hotel to our friends. Believe me, the price per night at the hotel is very good compare to other hotels in Dubai at Sheikh Zayed road.

- Lobby is like 5 Star - hotel is new , few years old everything thing is fresh , and furniture is new - Restaurants are good - Location is not the best but close to main attractions , the hotel does provide shuttle buses to all attractions for free , not all hotels do that in Dubai - hotel is very clean - the staff is excellent on all levels except the manager , the manager thinks he is a bouncer in the hotel , but ignore that fact , the remaining staff work as if it is a 5 Star Hotel , - the only drawback is the windows in the hotel don’t open , and they have balconies in every room that they keep locked . I do recommend the hotel

i love this hotel - it's beautiful and the views are stunning. the breakfast is good, the gym is great. the pool is a bit too small to do laps and there is no lobby or place to sit but the rooms get 10/10 the staff are excellent and the room service is of a very high quality. there are shuttle buses to the shopping areas and it's right next to the metro and taxis. i like the fact that the staff don't disturb the guests - just leave a note under the door. there is no bar but there are so many hotels and buildings with bars all around the area and it's easy to get taxis. the staff are very polite and discreet if you come home at 4am, they just smile, unlike another hotel in dubai where the staff have tried to stop me getting into my own room because i came home late and the night shift workers "didn't know my face" (i won't stay there again) the bathroom of the room i stayed in had no drain at all and i fell over and almost broke my arm. otherwise, excellent hotel!

I travel every month to Dubai, and I stayed in most of the good hotels in Dubai. But my favorite is Tulip. Staff is so professional & feel so homely. You will not feel that your in some other country. Thank you

Star Metro is really one of the best hotel in Dubai, staff are really efficient and well trained,very friendly and very supportive especially Ms. May,she is always there to assist the clients with a smile. The rate is very affordable!! When we are in Dubai,only StarMetro Hotel we are staying as the location is very near to malls,restaurants and supermarkets.

We felt very lucky to have chosen this hotel to spend eight nights in while visiting Dubai. Until now with our frequent visits to Dubai since 1993, this hotel in our view was the best. We congratulate the manager, Mr Eltohamy who has made the hotel up to a high standard of services and guest satisfaction. The welcoming smile of the reception staff who were very helpful and understanding, especially Faizan, were the first to be appreciated. The Guest relation officer was a definite asset through listening to guests’ problems and desire in order to resolve them promptly. The hotel lobby was an attractive atmosphere strengthened by the continuous offering of Arabic coffee and fresh dates while sitting in the lobby. The suites were spacious and well furnished with excellent original furniture. Tea and coffee making facilities in addition to the well-equipped kitchen made life very easy. Most useful was the free strong Wi-Fi connection in the suites. An unusual but rather a feature we found it in the suite is the many framed paintings even in the bathroom. The hotel was very centrally located and opposite to the famous Deira City centre shopping mall, metro station and local restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and sufficient and included varieties of tasty food supported by excellent helpful serving staff. We highly recommend this hotel which we shall return to whenever we visit Dubai in the future

Everything was EXCELLENT at Marina Hotel Apartments, from location to their staff's hospitality. We booked for 6D5N. The apartment booked was huge with 2 spacious bedrooms with a bathroom each plus another toilet room and store room. Also spacious living area and balcony. So clean, feel like home. Perfect for families. The rooms and amenities are also exactly the same as the photos. Awesome east marina views & an amazing skyscraper view from 14th floor. Close to restaurants along Marina Walk, supermarkets, pharmacy, the DAMAC Metro & Dubai Marina Tram. The Marina Walk just below the hotel is nice place to stroll, especially in the evening. Free Wi-Fi provided with unlimited devices used, was very great, my boy love it to play online PS4. The front desk, bell boy, housekeeping, security guard & staff was very friendly, helpful & always smile. Suggestion: Need to provide TV in master bedroom & hot water for toilet's water spray. WE loved it so much. Till we come again to Dubai. :)

We were upgraded to an extremely spacious 3-bedroom suite. It had a fully stocked kitchen. Staff was very helpful, esp the Filipinos. It's a stone's throw away from the beach and The Walk, with multiple indoor and outdoor dining options. This place is more for relaxing, not for shopping. But it's next to a tram that can take you to mall of the emirates and dubai mall. Taxi is quite affordable as well. I'd stay here again so long as they can keep the price reasonable.

Located in Downtown Dubai, the Ramada Suites were fantastic! Restaurants are expensive in Dubai, so it was great having a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine & dishwasher. They also provided us with tea & coffee daily as well as shampoos etc. In addition, they provided us with toothbrushes, sewing kit & a razor (great for the forgetful traveler!) The view from our room was phenomenal! It overlooked the musical fountains, and was right opposite the Burj Khalifa. The hotel offers a free shuffle to the Dubai Mall, but not frequently enough. However, it is a pleasant 10 minute walk, if you don't mind the scorching sun! They did say you had to catch a taxi if you wanted to get to the Emirates Mall (about 30 Dirhams) but you can catch a train from the Dubai Mall for 6.50pp. I rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars, and the only reason I would have given 4 and not 5, is because the shuttles do not run frequently enough (there is only 1 shuttle to Jumeirah Beach @ 1pm - who would want to go to the beach in the midday heat is beyond me!) but you need to find your own way back home. It would have been nice to have a shuttle to the Burj Al Arab & Atlantis (even for a nominal fee). Otherwise a great hotel, and probably the nicest thing about our trip. (PS : The dining got 3 - working on an average because we actually didn't eat at the hotel restaurant)

I highly recommend the Marco Polo Hotel in Dubai. In the Deira district, it offers beautiful rooms, great restaurants and attentive staff. Nice hotels in Dubai are usually expensive, not so with the Marco Polo. It's not close to the big attractions but the Metro system is a short can ride away. The neighborhood is colorful with many affordable middle eastern restaurants. Highly recommended.

I totally relied on info from the Internet on Dubai hotel apartments , without knowing where would be a good place to stay. It was a good thing I found this place, as it not only offered good reviews, but also a promotional rate on Agoda. Don't be fooled by the facade of this hotel as it may look crappy on the outside, but it's different on the inside. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and I was very pleased with the way the apartment turned out. It was HUGE! I think you could easily fit a family of 5 or 6 people in there. In 1 room, there was a queen sized bed, and on the other room, were 2 single beds. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, with washing machine and ironing board. The living hall is pretty big, with a nice comfortable leather sofa. There are a total of 2 bathrooms as well, plus a single toilet located outside the living hall. More importantly, the beds were comfortable and CLEAN, and the bathrooms were very clean as well, with a standing shower in one of the rooms, and a bathtub in the master bedroom. There are 2 LCD TVs, one in the living hall, and the other in the master bedroom. I'd stay in this place again if I visit Dubai again. Once the Dubai Metro is completed, the nearest station to this hotel would be the Abu Bakar Al Siddique station. Taxis are also easy to get as it faces the main road.

WOW incredibly hotel with absolute stunning view, nice food, nice interior and AMAZING STAFF!! WE cant express enough our gratitude for the way the staff treated us! Treated us as part of a family they honestly were incredible from the Front staff to the Eatry sections to the house keeping and Management!! A massive THANKYOU!! We will be back!! If ever in Dubai do yrself a favour STAY here!! Let me get this out of the way, I have stayed in few hotels and this is by far the best experience, from service to rooms, location, view was just perfect. This hotel is about 15mis drive from Dubai Airport, just next to Business Bay metro station, our 3 bedroom apartment on the 30th floor looked over to the Sheikh Zayed Rd. I booked this hotel for our wedding, mine and my wife's family had come over, it was perfect for 6 people. We got room 3004. They were just amazed looking at the room and the view. This hotel had a pool and a gym. Pool looked over to the Burj Khalifa which was great. The room came with kitchen with all the amenities like the stove, washing machine, refrigerator, cutleries and crockeries. The balcony was huge which opened from each bedroom. Reception and Guest relation team arranged a nice little surprise (bed decoration) for us on the day of the wedding. Housekeeping people were amazing, they made sure our room was cleaned every day. Free WiFi was available at all times with a good speed. We didn't try the food here as we ordered from outside so can't comment about that. Altogether we and our family had a great time in Dubai and one of the reason was this hotel. Can't complain about anything, to be honest. Will definitely recommend to everyone who is looking for amazing value for money and experience, don't worry and just book this place.

Gevora Hotel is located in Central of dubai. all staffs are good service mind and kind to Guest. Very easy to access all area in dubai. Hotel Restaurant and facilities are also good and comfortable for businessman.

Gloria Hotel is my highly recommend Hotel in Dubai. The staffs were nice & helpful. I request to change my room cause I always prefer the bright room easy for me to work in hotel with my laptop. Ms Abigail is one of the staff, as informed by her she will help me to put the note first cause the room was not available now. After I went back hotel in the evening she called me to check whether I need to change the room? She made me feel warm & happy cause she still remembers my requested. The cleaner's Ismail, Rudson and Manoj. They all are very kind & polite to ask me whether I had any request and they will try to full fill it. They always take care of my room cleaning during my stay. Thank you to all of them.

This is a new hotel, so everything is still good as brand new.. I got a room overlooking the creek, n the view is amazing at night.. The only problem is the required a marriage certificate to present on arrival.. I mean, first of all it's not mentioned anywhere in this website, 2nd of all who is on earth will be carrying that to go out, lastly that's none of their business... We have stayed in so many 4 stars hotels in Dubai, and this is the first hotel asking us that!

Checking in was quiet fast based on my experience... Staffs at this hotel are really nice, most especially the guy at the reception named Luis. He's very accommodating and attentive. It's a good thing for every hotel to have such employee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Dubai either for business or vacation purposes. The price is really cheap compared to other 4* hotels and it's worth it. The room is clean, bed is soft, a/c's working good, and most of all, the bathroom is clean. The place is near the metro if you want to go to other parts of Dubai. There are restaurants nearby and within the hotel. Shopping areas are nearby as well, wouldn't cost you much to take a cab/taxi from the hotel to places like burjuman or karama where you can shop for a lot of stuffs. No complaints at all! I would definitely go back to this hotel!

I was really pleased with my choice of hotel in Dubai. It's a 5 minute walk to the Mall of Emirates where you can also connect to the metro for other parts of the city. You can hail taxis outside the hotel easily and its only 10 minutes to the beach. The staff were very friendly and I have no complaints about the staff or service. The rooms are huge! We had a living room, well equiped kitchen, bathroom and seperate toilet and a bedroom. All the modern facilities were there. My only slight criticism is that the area around the rooftop pool is quite small and it can be difficult to get a sunbed. I would also have appreciated free wifi, but I don't think thats common in many Dubai hotels. I would definitely go back there.

I have tried many hotels in Dubai and Villa Rotana is definitely my favourite one. Its centrally located, great view of the Burj Khalifa, friendly helpful staff, nice gym and great top deck pool. Rooms are reasonably spacious and always spotlessly clean. We had a one bedroom apartment with Atrium view and it had all the comforts needed. It was a Perfect stay! Its much better than most of 5 stars.

This is by no means one of the nicer hotels in Dubai, but for the price, you cannot beat it. Not only is it one of the very cheapest hotels in Dubai, it has a kitchenette, and is near to countless restaurants, pharmacys, and grocery stores. The only downfall for me is that there isn't any legitimate malls within walking distance, but that's only a short taxi-ride away.

7 floor is new but 9 floor is very old.This hotel situated in business street, near to many bank and some smal mall like as day to day and many Iranian restourant.The swimming pool is at 2nd floor and not so nice,but the gim was better than the swimmingpool. the breakfast was good. The lobby of this hotel is not nice at all in compair of other 4 star hotel in dubai.

First of all, I'd like to tell that this hotel is one of the best because of its staff, they are very professional, polite, helpful, good listeners, immediate assistance, the fastest check-in/check-out ever (5 Minutes Maximum), friendly and smiley at all times, simply they are above and beyond, that's more than enough to make any hotel above ranking than most of Dubai hotels. A dedicated special thanks to Mr. Khalid in reception and his colleagues. Value for money where always you will get more than what you paid at all levels. The hotel location is accessible wherein the heart of Tecom and all the needed facilities are within walking distance. My room was very tidy, clean and spacious, and when I requested makeup for the room on the next day; the housekeeping reset everything into its standard, I felt just like I checked-in once again, many thanks for the outstanding effort. I recommend this hotel to everyone, certainly I will always come back.

We booked a Deluxe Studio for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay there tremendously. We were given Room 108, which has a fantastic water view. The room has a small kitchenette which comes complete with a fridge, cutleries, pots and pans, a toaster, cooker hob and hood. There is a supermarket nearby, just across the road, where we got fruits and some basic food. We did not have our breakfast at the hotel and are therefore unable to comment on the same. We were informed by the staff that there is a pool in the hotel, which we did not have time to use. The nearest metro stop to the hotel is Jumeirah Lakes Towers and it is situated about 1km away, not as close as we had initially thought. Most taxis which we took from the city centre did not know where the hotel is located even when we gave them the exact address (there are about 1,500 hotels in Dubai, anyway!). So, if you intend to take a taxi back to the hotel, it will be helpful if you can give the driver directions to the hotel from the Jumeirah Lakes Towers metro station, which is familiar to most drivers. We took a very pleasant stroll on the pedestrian-only pavement from the hotel to The Walk at Dubai Marina. There were lots to see, people and amazing skyscrapers alike. Overall, we are very happy and satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The staffs were polite and friendly, the room was cleaned well on a daily basis, complimentary bottles of mineral water were provided for us daily and sufficient toiletries were replenished when they ran low. We think our room was reasonably priced for the Dubai Marina area and will not hesitate to recommend it to others who want to stay in the same area.

layai oaks apartment hotel is a so so worth your money deal... i've tried so many similar grade hotel in dubai but so far, this is the best deal man! hotel staffs are so friendly & helpful. they actually greet you everytime they see u. rooms are clean & neat, also really nice. it gives you the homely feel. but F&B in hotel are limited selections. they have nice pool & gym facilities.

It was 4 of us in family traveling to Dubai and the apartment was really spacious with a mini supermarket at the ground floor and walking distance to nearby mall. The house wasn't well equipped and we had to call to ask for slippers and towels but at least the breakfast was good. But you kinda have to take taxi everywhere since it's not nearby the train station.

when we first arrived we were just gob smacked at the beautiful view of the marina and also very happy that the doorman kindly directed us how to get to places as we've never been to dubai, we were also told the marina area was the newly developed area and is where most of the rich people live so this apartment has a classier look than most you find downtown. the room is really spacious, it had 3 television sets, each one in the bedrooms and the living room. it was a pleasant experience and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in dubai. the only downside is that it is quite far from bur dubai and the airport but its close to ibn battuta mall and it is quite far to walk to the metro station.
