Traveling to Spain? Find Girona hotels

The hotel is easy to get to, and has an underground car park (13 Euros a night) Staff speak English and are helpful and efficient. Room was very clean and modern with a huge bed! 15 minute walk into the centre of Girona. A beautiful medieval walked city. After a day sightseeing, we decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We were not disappointed with the fixed 3 course meal for 16 Euros, including a glass of wine! The waiter was also very friendly and professional.

Unfortunately, by the time we found the hotel, we were so tired and frustrated that we only had time for a bite to eat and bed. We found Girona a very difficult city to drive in and getting to our hotel even more so. We did not have a bathroom in our room which was very inconvenient. The room was nice, the staff opened breakfast early for us which we really appreciated and breakfast was good. It was not a good choice for us!

Great value for money place a short taxi ride from the bus/train station and a short walk from the beautiful old town, which was lovely. The staff were very nice, the room was better than I expected, clean and comfortable, not got a bad word to say about it, I'd happily stay there again on future trips to Girona.

the price is way more reasonable then staying in Barcelona. and it is so close to both the old town and the train station. With fully required share kitchen. And the staff are very helpful.

Pleasant enough stay for a night. The building is quite old and in need of some refurbishment, but clean and no major problems.The desk wasn't manned most of my stay, so may be an issue if you have any problems or want to leave any luggage in the building after check-out. For non-smokers, be aware that there are small balconies outside of the rooms where some of the guests smoke which can mean the smell drifts into the rooms.

The hotel was well located for our visit to Girona, the underground car park and lockable bike cage was exactly what I wanted. The only downside for us was the restaurant, we decided to eat in one evening. The soup arrived in a cold dish and the main course was on cold plates. The steak was inedible and the requested chicken dish arrived was incorrect. After waiting 15 minutes for the chicken dish to be served we decided to abandon the meal, to be fair the maitre de did not charge us for the food received. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful. We would stay there again if we return to Girona.

The Pension is located in the older part of Girona near one of the access points for wall. The pension is quiet, secure and close to all the main sites in Girona.

We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was newly refurbished and therefore bright and clean. Basic facilities but we were only staying for one night. The hotel was not able to give us a double bed although there wre rooms available(not sure why) but the 2 single beds put together was comfortable. The room was larger than we expected, adequate for 2 persons to move around, large bathroom. Did not have blackout curtains so the light came in very early in the morning. Had to for use of the safe in the room, something I expect to be included in the price. Reception was helpful with local maps and taxi arrangements. Great breakfast for 8 Euros. Great location and a 5 min walk across the river to the old city.

well worth the cash, I arrived very late and watched a bit of TV. Not till next morning I realised I possibly upset other sleepers. Good clean room and superb shower. Staff very nice and breakfast excellent - catered for an excellent range of tastes without being fussy. Coffee first class If arriving at uncertain times then has a night porter on duty, . Bus from Airport is cheap and arrives 300m away at Bus/rail station in Central Girona. Last airport bus 12.30am

Near Catedral de Girona. So you can hear the bell every 15 min., but it doesn't matter about sleep. In the middle of the old city of Girona, location very nice and beautiful apartment. Historic apartment, I like it.

Everything is neat and tidy in this hotel. Staff was very nice and introduced places for us to visit in Girona. The hotel is not close to the town centre and it takes around 15-20mins to get there. It also need to takes around 10mins for a supermarket. Despite walking distance, the cleanliness and comfort really impressed us.

Because of the early morning scheduled flight in Girona airport, we had to stay there. Many people said Girona is middle of nowhere.. so we moved to Girona from Barcelona late in the night. A staff in the front helped us to print out our flight tickets and prepared breakfast at 5am only for us, even though it was out of service hour. She even gave us a wake-up call.. we coulnd't have made it to the airport in time if she didn't help us. Thanks again!! :)

2 mins walk from Girona's Tourism Office, B.O. is lovely and rather quiet despite its central location - walking distance to most of the top sights and restaurants. My ensuite room was on the 4th floor, hard work hauling a suitcase up 87 stairs. However, the room was spacious, comfortable with a refrigerator, a boiling kettle and a sitting room shared with the other bedroom on that floor. Cheaper simple rooms with shared bathrooms are on lower floors.

Never heard of Girona until my friends invites me to their wedding there and thank goodness or that as this place is no less than spectacular. I highly recommend visiting and staying at Girona housing if you're looking for a prime location. A lady was waiting for us upon arriving and handed over the keys and showed us around the apartment. Apartment was clean, and had a full stocked kitchen (utensils, plates, cup, coffee maker, pots, etc). There was a balcony although not much of a view, however we spent majority of our time in the historical area which is no more than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Had a blast, I would recommend Girona housing to anyone.

The location is perfect - right on the edge of the old city, which is small enough to walk through in a few minutes. The apartment feels like an IKEA showroom - the furnishings don't have much character but are very functional. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The apartment is not spacious but was totally adequate for our group of two adults and two young children. The owner was very responsive to messages.

Agoda used to have standards though this place looks charming in the pictures and is a very good location it is not recommended. Checking time at 5pm checkout time at 12 noon assignable to clean for 5 hours but is not so clean. Towels and bedsheets old and hard because if very strong detergent which I worried was going to give me rashes as I slept. Maybe you could describe as 2 star and the main and only benefit is location. Sorry I would tell people to stay away but I am used to staying in 4 star plus accomodations. Parking in public lot which Leona recommends is not far but full of thrives which we learnt after having our window smashed in and bags stolen. Which when at the police station said is very common.
