Best hotels & accommodations in Hastings

I have stayed in many hotels/motels in NZ and Porters Havelock North was the best. Why? We arrived into town late and felt tired. Upon checkin, the staff were helpful and quick to put us to our rooms so we could rest. Quality of the room: clean, warm/heated floors in bathroom, comfy bed and quality fittings all round. I wont stay anywhere else in Hastings.

The cottages were beautiful! Imagine waking up surrounded by vines in a quiet, exclusive vineyard, having breakfast outside looking at the morning fog and then taking a morning stroll taking in the fresh air! We had some complications and confusion during checkin as the staff mistaken our booking with another guest's and cancelled us, thankfully, there was a empty cott...

the reception is very kind and room is clean. also this motel has a swimming pool, trempolin(i don' t know the right spelling), a lemon tree and orage tree. it's so amazing! the most important thing for me is electric hot matte. i'm Korean and in my country every room must be kept warmly even thought in winter. so i felt everywhere i visited in New Zealand is very col...

The owners were fantastic and so happy to help with recommendations for the region. The location is excellent for exploring the wineries and close to some fantastic cycle paths and running tracks. Accommodation was clean and comfortable- would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Basically I'm very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel is worth the money and has a 5 star hotel service for a quint little motel. Situated just at the entrance of Hasting town, very convenient and central to everything in Hasting. The manager is very helpful and always greet you with a smile. The motel provide you with free wifi as well and ample of parking.

We have stayed at the Omahu Motor Lodge often when visiting Hastings and have always found it fantastic. The location is central to everything, super friendly staff, units are always clean and very quiet with extremely comfortable beds and lots of room in each unit. We especially enjoy the convenience of a well equipped kitchen unit to cater for ourselves plus the luxu...

very friendly service and i was able to help bottle feed the lambs. there was a small kitchen with hot plate and microwave which would be perfectly adequate for preparing light meals ( eggs available from no doubt free range chickens on the property) milk, orange juice, bread and a selection of cereals and jams provided. i think this would be a great place to take y...

Despite arriving late, the host was accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable, good Wi-Fi and had a great view out the door that led to a small patio. There are only 2 rooms, next to each other with a bathroom at the end of the corridor. There were tea and coffee facilities and the bathroom and room was immaculately clean. A continental breakfast was includ...

Couldn't use the table because it had the TV sitting on it and the bathroom towels were ripped, old but clean. Wouldn't have given them to my guests. 30+degrees and no aircon or fan. On arrival the office manager was quick to point out that we had booked the budget room and was OK if your on a budget.

This motel would have to be one of the nicest we have stayed in ever. Modern, clean and warm, conveniently close to town, restaurants within a short walk. Friendly greeting and welcome to Havelock north and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Nice people as hosts and I would love to visit again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Havelock House. Diana and her husband were excellent hosts, kindly catering to my vegan diet and always on hand for any of our needs. The house is in a great spot, hidden away among beautiful gardens and trees and a short distance to the wineries. I loved the small touches, like tea upon arrival, homemade jams and treats and all natur...

It was okay. Felt that room was expensive for what it was and what was lacking although the Manager did come up with all that was asked for. Would stay their again but would book directly through them. I thought getting it through Agoda would have been cheaper but sadly no.
