İzmir hotels & places to stay

This was our first time to Izmir, Turkey and we picked Movenpick due to it's location. We requested for high floors and Sea View but was placed on the 3rd with a sea view. We also stated that we were on Honeymoon and the hotel decorated our bed with (fake) rose petals and embroidered pillowcase. Breakfast was not included in our booking, but we paid for it (39 Euros/person) separately anyways as it was a decent spread with quality ingredients. Staff at reception was friendly, although not everyone spoke English. They provided me with a local map of Izmir and told me directions of where to go around this area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, the only fault would be the very thin carpet on the floor in the room, every time we step on the carpet the floor made creaking noises.

A very modern hotel in downtown Izmir. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and professional. They booked my Ephesus trip for me when I checked in. Rooftop restaurant is excellent too. Many thanks guys, I had a great stay!

Very good location in izmir between 3 malls. Very hot room no.506 A/C not working well. House keeping are not proffesional & rooms are not cleen. Food & breakfast is very delecious. New furniture.

Maybe we went at the wrong time. Izmir is beautiful. Hilton is not far from Konak Pier. Nice walk. Plenty of cafes outside. You’ll never go hungry or get bored. Just too crowded coz when we came, they had some seminars going. It’s pretty uneasy when the staff hard sell you the executive rooms saying that they’re renovated. And one staff said to my dad, you pay standard room, you get standard service. Or to put it kindly, MAYBE he meant it otherwise-because the lack of spoken English that was quite apparent, it sounded rather insulting. But I must say, the morning view from the large windows is fantastic. Truly unforgetable.

we were staying one night there bcz in the next next we headed back to Italy, we had amazing stay, staff were helping us for any requested as we had a problem with the taxi in previous time (long story) . there's 5 double tree by hilton hotel in Izmir so be sure the taxi driver to drop you in a correct address . overall we had a pleasant stayed.

We wanted to make the most of our day-trip to Izmir and surrounding, and the lady at the main desk was of great help to book our trip to Ephesus with a organised tour. While Izmir wasn't our "favorite city" in Turkey, we loved our day-tour to Ephesus!

I srated there for one night after long flight from China and a transfer from Istanbul to Izmir. It was 1 a.m. and the staff was still waiting for me. Facilities in the room were new and in good condition. Especially satisfied with bed linen and pillows. In all, it gave me a very good rest to start my travel in Turkey.

It is probably one of the best hotels in Izmir and a good hotel to stay in if you are on a business trip and have to get in and out of Izmir quickly. However, if you want to do sightseeing in Izmir, it is too far away from the city center. However, the hotel has very good facilities and the staff speak good English.

The hotel located far from tourist area. There are no tourist attractions near by. Eventhough it is next to the sea but there is the road like highway in between and there is no flyover that we could walk across the street to walk along the sea shore. We can just look to the sea from our room. The room is good with good Sea view. we love the bed very much. It is big and very comfortable. the bed is high quality with soft texture bed sheet. branded high quality amenities are used in bath room. the staff at reception are very helpful and speak English fluently. We not recommend this hotel if you visit izmir as a tourist.

Free parking place, good breakfast,excellent wi-fi signal, and the room though a bit small (we chose the cheapest price) is so well fitted with evertything nad space was greatly used. So we felt we were in a higher category room. The personnel is extremely helpful and flexible with check out time. Great choice of hotel in Izmir, if you travel by car you cannot miss this one

Shanti offers the best breakfast in Turkey I have been stayed!stuffs is really nice when I arrived izimir,they send email which written in Chinese told me how to get to their hostel in detail. I really appreciate it!the location is great and they offer kitchen for guest to use. I super recommend you to stay here

This hotel a little bit far from the beach instead of it, the surrounding area is very calm Also there is a very beautiful staff warmly welcoming

the hotel is walking distance to all places of interest in Izmir. Restaurants and shops are just around the corner. staff is very helpful. Our room was small but good enough for the price. It is an old hotel but they are able to maintain cleanliness.

I took the Havas Bus airport transfer from Izmir airport in the very early morning. The bus made a stop quite near to the hotel so it is within 5 mins walk. They allowed me to check in immediately and have breakfast. I guess they have upgraded my room as well but unfortunately my room smelled terribly cigarettes & they cannot change a room for me. The corridor on my floor smell cigarette as well. The male manager speak the best English compared to his female colleagues. The lady in the afternoon shift did not recommend much about what I can do during a day in Izmir

Rooms pretty basic but spotless Breakfast outstanding Had evening meals in restaurant, delicious meals with attentive staff and very reasonably priced ... highly recommend the leveret fish dish ... scrumptious

I love to stay there. The hostel is lovely, simple, colorful and the best part is the people that work there. It has a kitchen where you can cook by your own and a lovely garden. Will come back here when im in izmir! Thanks ♥️

Free parking right behind hotel. The suites are impeccable and huge. Like an apartment. Even had a washing machine.breakfast was fantastic and supplied to the room door.everything was spotless even the bathrooms and the staff very helpful. One of the best places we've stayed in turkey.

On arriving we were escorted to a twin room. I didn't accept it and was immediately taken yo a Double room. It was very like the staff member was changing his arm to don me off with a twin room. Internet not available either the following morning. The Breakfast staff member was very helpful.

Staff is nice,location is good and near to bus agent office to pamukalle. But its too expensive compare the facilities the hotel have.

Was an good stay , just one night .The area is however difficult to park as the road in front was full of cars on both sides of the road , seems like a busy business area by day time .The hotel has a parking at the back which was quite okay but not so convenient .Roads are small and one way-ish , difficult to navigate .To go to city , best to take TAXI , as Izmir is very crowded and especially if you going to bazaar , don't drive

This Hotel which I have booked from agoda till now is the most terrible place So Dirty; no hot water, nothing at room no dush aparts even at bathroom. With one word; disgusting!!! Absolutely NOT recommended!!!!
