A very remote town located by the border of Sarawak. However, food quality here is very much to my appetite.
People are friendly. There is a local market called 'tamu' on Saturday morning through out the day. People from the village bring their agriculture product, craft work, art work and etc to sell.
It's a friendly market and you can experience many things of the local peoples life. Do not worry that the items are expensive. Generally, prices are reasonable. During the night, there is a food court near to the hotel. I recommend that you try the BBQ chicken, beef, or mutton sticks! It's so delicious and cheap. You will definitely like it! From the hotel, if you take a 30 minute drive, you will reach a small part of Brunei. There is a recreational park not too far off the Custom's Check Point and a Historical Site call Labu Estate. This site features the development of the rubber plantation of that area. Worth visiting for sight seeing. It's all Free of Charge!
