"I come to Llandudno and stayed at the Grand several times last year. As a single traveller I usually meet several people to talk to, especially in the dining room and like to spend my evenings either in the quiet room with my iPad or watching the entertainment downstairs. This is better than staying in my room all evening when in a hotel w itch an empty lounge."

"My son and I had a great stay here. Fantastic price as we booked during the Christmas ‘sale’ time. We had a sea view room, which to be honest was worth paying the extra few pound for. Our room was spacious and beds very comfortable. The only slight negative was the power of the shower- having said that this is usually a complaint of most of the old Victorian hotels along the front. The shops are on the road behind the hotel; Llandudno centre shops to the right, retail parks to the left so an ideal position for shoppers. The car park is tight but we did get a space arriving around 7pm. I would advise anyone to use google maps or similar to look where the car park entrance is as it could easily be missed. Also at this time there is no sign as they have been having work done to it. Friendly staff, great stay."

"I booked a double room at the same price as single room at agoda, while the Indiain staff gave me a single room and refused to change a larger one for me due to availability as he said. The room he offered was extremely terrible with water leaking and no socket near the bed. I tried to request a new room but that guy insisted that sockets are near the bed. The fire staircase is even next to the window with emergency light on over the whole night, which impacted my sleep. I have to say that the same price of single and double room is not the reason why my room type was downgraded subject to so-called availability. "
