"If you love aviation like I do, you will love this hotel.. get a room with a view of the runway! could have stayed in my room all day just watching planes take off and land at Heathrow. But I didn’t pick this hotel just because I wanted to see planes take off and land.. it’s just one of my personal treats. The location is very convenient if you need to be near the airport. You can walk from the hotels second floor, through an indoor walkway directly into T4. The staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was awesome. The rooms, despite being right next to Heathrow were very well insulated and you wouldn’t hear a sound from the outside. Overall very happy and would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel is often full; no wonder given the appalling standard of a lot of London hotels in this category. The Mowbray is a bit of a surprise inside. The common areas are light, fresh and guest friendly. The rooms vary: some are VERY small, but still adequate, while others are quite roomy. All have modern bathrooms, which is a real relief, although I would say that a bit of attention to cleaning detail now will save a lot of unnecessary maintenance later. The staff are reserved but always helpful. The location is perfect being just around the corner from Earls Court Station and busy, bustling Earls Court Road. I would definitely recommend this hotel in the three-star category; however, sometimes the price is on the high side. Book early to get value for money. "

"My husband and I chose Hyde Park Executive Apartments for the location and the price. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but it was the perfect spot for 2.5 days of sight seeing in London. The hotel room/studio/apartment is simple but newish/modern, very spacious and clean so it suited us fine. Our room was located on the ground floor but it was tucked away and very quiet. Sure, the bed wasn't a king size bed but queen / double sized beds in Europe tend to be smaller in general so we had already expected this so it was fine. You are not paying a 5 star star price so don't expect 5 star accommodation. We had a car with us but as we didn't want to use it in London, we simply parked it in the public car park on the next street for the 2 days and only travelled on foot , bus or train. The station and bus stops were easily accessible from the hotel. Overall, this hotel was extremely good value for money considering we would normally stay at a 4/5 stay place but decided that it just wasn't worth it in London. This hotel was decent and we were very pleased with it. "

"Pros: Friendly staff. I came about 11AM and she tried to find the best solution to let me check in earlier. She understand we are tired due to Long flight. Staff at concierge was helpful as well. Location is the best. Buses just 3 mins walk away and it can go to Oxford street (390) and Piccadilly Circus (94). I took Big Bus for convenience and the bus stop is also 3 mins walk away (Bayswater). Sadly, when I was in London the nearest tube, Lancaster Gate station is undergoing construction. It is also 3 mins walk away. London Express/Connect stops at Paddington which is about 8 to 10 mins walk away. Cons: From the corridor to my room has a few steps (about 4 small stairs) which I was not aware and my mum has bad knees. But she said it is ok since it was a rather small stairs. But do take note! I am really satisfied with the hotel and I do not have any complaints. The room is just like most London hotels, small. So no complaints about it. Thanks Corus! "
