gorgeous, absolutely stunning place! Took my mother here for a relaxation holiday and she said it was the most stunning place she has ever stayed. We sat on patio looking right onto beach and went for leisurely walks at night. This is paradise at its best! Free use of kayaks and boggie boards and friendly hosts. Highly recommend and will def go back!

I chose a 2-bedroom villa for my family to stay towards the end of our trip to Northland. It was a great choice and everyone was impressed to have a spacious apartment style place to relax for a few days. The villa is extremely well equipped with all the necessities you'd find at home. They've really thought of everything. The full-size kitchen is well stocked with ame...

Surreal to have a fireplace in the bathroom - but nice to see the fireplace. Pity it could not have remained part of a room. Not good to be told that breakfast was down the road at a cafe. Your channel numberings for the tv was terribly out of date. However, very nice man meeting and greeting us. A great pity that the bistro next door was closed. We opted for the Th...

We stayed in Waru .. easy access to car park. The living area was spacious and comfortable with heaters supplied but not used. Kitchen area with hot plates, oven, microwave and plenty of crockery and utensils. Electric jug and toaster and small fridge. Table and 4 chairs. Bedroom was fine, good bed. Bathroom newly refreshed, big step up into shower recess but hand ...

The only thing was with our meals was a garden salad, but it was just lettuce and red onions... Would of loved tomato, carrot or just something a little more. Apart from that everything was lovely, we have stayed at a lot of places this has been the best.

We enjoyed our stay at San Marino Lodge. Room layout wasnt the best as it had bunks that we didnt need but that was included in the price and gave us a resonably large room. Also couldnt park out side the door so had to cart our luggage but it was worth it for the view. Plenty of utensils and facilities for preparing meals. Motel is dated but managers our renovating an...

Set in its little sub-tropical microclimate, this boutique lodge has plenty to offer. The beach is at your doorstep, it is quiet (apart from the sound of waves), it faces north with views over Doubtless Bay and there is outdoor seating, tables and barbeque to enjoy the sun. Great ice creams can be had at a dairy a few hundred metres away. Mine Hosts, Jackie and John ar...

We stayed 2 nights to visit Cape Reinga. Our unit (there are 4, all ground floor) was very clean, comfortable and excellent value for money, with parking just outside. The new owners, Gavin and Nikki, have upgraded all the beds- really comfortable- and provide delicious cooked breakfasts to enjoy whilst admiring the fantastic views of Doubtless Bay. Nikki's homemade m...
