Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel (Multi-Use Hotel and Staycation is Allowed)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"To start with the minor inconveniences. The shower in our room seemed to be pulled of the wall and the knob for changing between main- and handshower seemed to be stuck. Also watertemperture, even when running longer, changed from hot to cold and vice-versa often. In the hallway and the room there was a funny smell. What we really liked about the hotel was the location in the CBD of Makati. Super convenient. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location, but were surprised about the luxury look it had. Room felt like a condo, it had an own kitchen complete with flatware and cutlery. Many thanks to the very accommodating security staff Erwin. When looking for a hotel in Manila again this sure will be it. "

"this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive . Dusit Thani Manila (Multiple-Use Hotel)
Makati,Manila - View on map
"My wife and I reside full time in the Philippines and therefore have stayed in many different hotels in Manila. This was the first time we had stayed in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. From the welcome each time at the front door by "Gino" the Door Man as we arrived back from shoppimg to the help and support which was extended to us from the Concierge Department and the pleasant smiling faces of all the staff we were made to feel so welcome and were treated all the time as VIP guests. Well done Dusit Thani Manila Hotel! You have got our business from now on and we will be back to stay with you again real soon. Best regards and thank you."

Makati Palace Hotel
Makati,Manila - View on map
"I have stayed at Makati Palace Hotel atleast 7 different times. I have stayed at 2 other hotels, in Manila, one of which is closed, the other is cock roach infested and not worth mentioning. Makati was always clean and bug free. The buffet style breakfast at Makati Palace was worth the money I thought. They also have a few good meals at night. They make the best mango shake anywhere. I get one with every evening meal there. In the morning they have an excellent omelet and a nice variety of food at the buffet. I'll be back there whenever I go to manila again. "

Regency Grand Suites
Malate,Manila - View on map
"My Filipina girlfriend and I decided to book 6days in the Regency Grand Suite and hoped it would be perfect for my last weeks stay in the Philippines. We were NOT dissappointed! We were greeted by the friendlest receptionist called Joseph who did everything for us from check us in to fixing the WIFI connection :) from there the stay in the hotel just got better. The location is perfect if you want to be central to Malate and it's right next to the mall. We stayed on the 32nd floor so obviously it was very quiet if you wanted to get away from the nightlife. The gym and the pool (very cold water ha) were great perfect to sit beside and relax. There are plenty of lovely Asian restaurants next to the hotel and the hotel is only short drive (100php) from Markati and the Fort. The room (a suite) was perfect it had plenty of power points (universal for 3pin plugs) a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and fridge perfect for making snacks. The shower room was cozy and modern (don't forget to switch on the water heater) and after switching the water heater on the hot rain shower was wonderful. The view was magnificent from the 32nd floor balcony viewing out onto Manila bay and the cities beyond. The bed is huge but the space around the bed is limited but never the less its very cozy and perfect for me and my filipina girlfriend. The room also had a very modern flat screen TV with satelite channels such as HBO and PBO and other filipino channels. In short our stay in the Regency Grand Suites was wonderful and we shall most certainly be booking to stay here again on my next holiday. Special thanks to Joseph on reception who was amazing at getting us settled and was so attentive throughout our stay there. Many Thanks to all the team."

Eurotel Pedro Gil Hotel
Malate,Manila - View on map
"I have stayed at numerous Manila hotels in the past 20 years on my way to and from a second home in Cebu from NY-USA. For me a small, efficient and affordable accomodation convient to NAIA such as the Eurotel Pedro Gil is fine, especially if you are traveling solo. Wouldn't recommend for families as rooms are smaller sized on the order of the old European hotels of the post-World War II era. "

Okada Manila

"My best stay ever. I have tried hotels in Manila and in Europe, Okada provided the best service. The amenities are amazing. The staff are welcoming. I booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of our rooms got upgraded to the executive suite for the sole reason that it was our first time. Uh-mazing! right? The breakfast buffet did not disappoint as well! "

Holiday Inn Express Manila Newport City
Pasay,Manila - View on map
"This is a great airport hotel in Manila. The domestic terminal (Terminal 3) is right across the street (can't walk to it, however). Terminal 1 (international) and Terminal 2 (Philippine Airlines) is just down the road. As long as traffic isn't bad, it should take too long to get to T1 or T2. A free airport shuttle is available on-the-hour 24 hours a day. Note that there is a separate bus for each terminal. The hotel is also right next to Resort World and Casino, which has a shopping mall, casino, and slew of up-scale restaurants. A 7-11 and McDonald's is also at the base of the hotel. Check-in and out was very easy. The staff are very helpful. They even helped me print a document for free. The rooms are a bit small, so if you have a lot of baggage, the room might feel a little cramped. The internet is ok for Philippine standards. The only major issue with the hotel is the noise. With major construction on one side and busy roads on the other sides, it's not the quietest of environments. A high floor room might be better. Overall, it's a nice hotel that feels new and modern. I'd stay again. Once all the construction is done in the area, it will be better."

The capital of the Philippines, Manila is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in South East Asia. The city is served by Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and travelers have a wide range of accommodations from which to choose with many options available near the airport, Pasay, and Manila Bay.

The commercial center of the city is Makati, where a wide array of restaurants and bars cater to practically any taste and offer everything from Chinese cuisine to American cheeseburgers. In the middle of the chaotic city are many parks to provide a respite to locals and travelers, with Rizal Park being the most iconic.

Another popular attraction in Manila is the 18th-century Fort Santiago in Intramuros, which was once a prison but has since been transformed into a park.

Commonly considered one of the better amusement parks in Manila, Enchanted Kingdom is perhaps the most popular destination for young adventurers. Separated into themed areas, the park features a great many rides, including one of the tallest rollercoasters in the world.
