Toyoko INN Marseille Saint Charles
District 03,Marseille - View on map
"Marseille railway Station is just 5 mins away, so location may be convenient however nearby streets are full of poorer people from Islamic countries. They are friendly, but surely these are not the streets you wanna walk down deep at night. But the hotel itself is awesome. Rooms are clean, quite big, breakfast is fine, staff is helpful. Not a luxury accomodation still its quality is high. You get what you need for your money. "

Residhome Marseille Saint Charles
01. Vieux Port - La Canebière,Marseille - View on map
"This was my second stay at Residhome Marseille. I came back for the location (200m from the TGV station Marseille Saint-Charles and all the things in the city center are at a walking distance). Via we made a great deal: a private studio with balcony, kitchen and a bath. Neighbouring street can be somewhat noisy, but when you close the door to the balcony, it's completely silent. Studios are pretty well isolated for heath and noise. There is aircon as well. We didn't take a breakfast at this place, because this was, according to us, somewhat overpriced (12 euros per person). More about Marseille

On the southern coast of France is the city of Marseille, one of Europe’s oldest cities. Boasting the biggest Mediterranean port, Marseille is a cultural melting pot and the economic hub of the Provence-Aples-Cote d’Azur region. This has led it to become the second largest French city. Marseille-Provence International Airport brings in international travelers, and a system of buses, taxis, and a train connect to the city 30km away.

Marseille is filled with sights and experiences. Those looking to get into the city’s history can visit places like the Musée d'Archéologie Méditerranéenne or the Vieux Port. The latter, which is the old harbor, is considered a must as this is where fisherman’s auction off their stock. Catching a show on a summer evening will be a highlight when coupled with the amazing views provided by the area. Boulevard Longchamp leads to Palais Longchamp with old upper-class buildings being showcased along the way. MuCEM, Notre Dame de la Garde, and Le Panier are but a few more sights open for exploration. If looking for leisure or recreation, visitors can head to the Corniche or any of the beaches such as Catalans, Prophetes, Pointe-Rouge, and Corbieres. The selection of accommodation is diverse and appeals to all travelers – from budget backpackers to those looking to splurge on a high-end stay.
