Pros Staff were very friendly. We had an inconvenient incident, completely our own fault and they gave us champagne on the house to settle our nerves! The interior design is very relaxing, cosy and clean. Had nice chats by the fire in the main lounge. There are some great places to eat nearby. Red gum bbq and a bakery down the road that was great too. The room we were ...

The ladies at reception were lovely, room was clean and tidy. Heaps of space in the room and very close to the beach and cafes, restaurants etc. only a short drive to the Peninsula Hot Springs. Although we didn't order breakfast in the room the menu looked quite extensive.

The hotel rooms are in good condition but are retro which is fun. Comfy beds, great shower with good water pressure and easy to adjust. Excellent location, just a short stroll to all the shops and restaurants/cafes. Even just a walk to the beach. There's coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, toaster, microwave and kettle. In the bathroom theres towels, face washers, soap, sham...

everything you could possible want - including a lovely walking track, brand new gym (very good!!), spa, pool, massage, buffet breakfast (excellent selection!) and warm inviting staff. the rooms are big, and have a lovely view to the ocean, but might be wary about asking for lower level if you are a light sleeper. Excellent for a mid week escape - will be back!

As soon as I walked in the front door I was delighted to find this welcoming little haven. I arrived on a very windy day and it was a cold night. Although there are two split systems it was fabulous to have the gas fire to create a warm and cosy ambience. I also appreciated the entertainment options of stereo, CD's, IPOD dock as well as a great selection of DVD's, m...

The location of the hotel isn't ideal for a beach view, this was the first time we had gone to Mornington Peninsula but next time the location will be chosen closer to the beach as the hotel is a bit of a distance away. The hotel does have a purpose and they seem to concentrate on weddings and functions and this would be ideal for that, but a big no for just a holiday ...

Owner-Manager (Damien) was very friendly and helpful, the recent renovations look great and the rooms are huge with astounding views of the Mornington Peninsula and back beaches through floor to ceiling windows. Watching the sunset from the private balcony is a rewarding experience, as is the tranquility at night where the only noise is the gentle sound of waves breaki...

The self-contained cottage is close to wineries such as Ten Minutes by Tractor and excellent restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the woodfire heater was wonderfully delicious when it was cold and windy outside. A nice, little place to stay overnight in the peninsula away from Melbourne. (For cat-lovers like us, the wonderfully friendly tabby ...

Sometimes the host is too much and sometimes too little, however at Eastcliff Cottage, John strikes the right balance. The breakfast was first class, the best we have had at a B&B. Additionally, John's knowledge and advice for the area was very sound. He was happy to give frank advice on the pros and cons of various restaurants and sites. We stayed in the Queen room...

Was a lovely apartment, fully furnished with all the necessities required (towels, toiletries, cooking utensils, crockery, even the pantry basics). Location was very easy to find. Access into the apartment was easy & very secure. The bed was extremely comfortable, the freddo frogs were a lovely surprise. I was able to have a relaxing weekend away without any fuss. Wil...

I went with family of six to spent a weekend in mornington, staff was very friendly and helpful. hotel room is clean and spacious, there is an attached bedroom with a double bunk bed able to accommodate persons. only limitation is that there is only one toilet to share amongst the 6. overall good stay, i would come back to this hotel.

Friendly hosts who answer your enquiries promptly. The room is fully equipped (especially the kitchen) and cosy. Comfortable bed with heater as well. Its location is in between Port Sea & Mornington town, and situated near highways. Driving to Flinders or Red Hill is not too far too!

Loved this place, cosy but not small, close to back beach for our friends’ wedding, clean and beautifully furnished. Comfy bed! Thoughtful sparkling wine, plunger coffee and books and games. Only negative was we booked for 4 people but got a double and single, thankfully our kids are 6, so they top and tailed the single, fine for one night. Will be back!

i've been to many b&b and this one is by far the best b&b i've ever stayed. if you see how beautiful the photos are, the real things are better. the view is the winner; breathtaking. it's only 1.5 hours from melbourne but it really makes you feel like you are somewhere in europe. we took the couple package; booking the whole ground floor and we were surprised of how bi...

Outstanding hosts that go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. A very beautiful and relaxing environment. Delicious and varied breakfast. Close to Peninsula Hot Springs and everything else Mornington Peninsula has to offer. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A most enjoyable couple of days at Sunny Side using Rye as a base to explore the Mornington Peninsula - sculpture at Point Leo Estate are terrific. Very welcoming hosts, lovely comfortable clean rooms and a couple of delicious breakfasts. Thank you to our hosts

very pleasant place to stay with tea and coffee facilities, plus toaster which meant that we could cater for breakfast ourselves and did not have to go off-site. also on-site bbq facilities which we were unaware of when we booked. we dined at the on-site restaurant at the golf club and the menu covered all tastes. very nice meal.housekeeping staff were quick to supply ...

Tired poky room, no room for luggage, smoke alarm obviously out of action, laminated table top looked damaged, double bed - one side against window. Toilet roll locked in its spool and almost impossible to freely access without a lot of fiddling. No toiletries - just soap. Shower great, bed comfortable, and basics sufficed for our needs. Next to a small aerodrome. For ...

We were greeted by Bella, the house lady cat which was really nice even though she told us off straight away for arriving late. The motel staff was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The room could use a bigger clean out but the beds and bathroom were clean and that's all that matters when you're on a budget. We would certainly stay there again next time we travel...

We stayed two nights in the Bahamas Room while visiting the Mornington Peninsula for a diving course. The owner was very lovely and accommodating. The room was beautiful and relaxing with a great spa bath. Breakfast was nice and was served every morning at your desired time. Tea/ Coffee facilities were available 24 hours a day along with some baked treats. We will defi...

Moody's Motel is definitely easily located as it is located along the coastal road side. Staff are very friendly & helpful, and also recommend to us the wonderful Peninsula Hot Springs. The room i had having 1 queen bed & 1 single... with sofa & microwave... it is spacious enough for 2 to 3 persons.. We felt warm and comfortable of the stay.

The motel is located just a few meters away from a main road at Mornington peninsula, with beach within 3 minutes walk. The flip side of that is you can expect to hear the noise of motors all day, which might be an issue from people having sleep problems like myself. Doors and windows are quite slim so you can hear chats of people outside too. I didn't see any staff du...

Advertised as the ‘pool suite’, this was stretching the truth, as was a hotch potch of rooms above the motel office, with a door to private office within the ‘suite’, which was disconcerting. It was the last available room in Mornington, now we know why! Location was within walking distance of centre and we were grateful to get a room. The place was clean and the el...

I had to book this apartment for my wife's extended family as we were putting up for a nite at an old friend's house nearby. The apartment was clean and the garage just big enough to fit our Kia Carnival. The owner was nice enough to offer us his private parking which we had no need to do so eventually. We would surely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Mornin...

Great little hotel. Clean, good size room and great views. Being situated on a golf course of couse the facilities more suited to those who play the game, be we found it more than adquate for a night away from the kids. Hotel also euns in conjunction with the portsea golf course so their dress code applies in then dining/ member areas.

As is typical of many B&B's these days, Mornington B&B is - seemingly - little more than a typical house in a typical street in a somewhat typical suburb. Fronted by a large hedge, the perhaps 1940s or 30's house is neatly presented and backed by - so trad these days - another abode. In this case a pair of self contained units also owned by the B&B but which have n...

Great romantic getaway easy drive from Melbourne. While room small, it is cosy and well equipped. The Ranger was very friendly and helpful. Great to be able to do a range of activities close by (without getting back in car). Walks, rock pools, lighthouse, museum, ocean watching, sunsets, star gazing, picnics and sitting out on verandah. Lots of options for lunch and d...

Such a pleasant surprise! We added another night to our stay and found Morning Sun to be the standout of our weekend away. John, Michelle and Sam were terrific in making us feel welcome. The woodfired pizza was to perfection, as were the lovely wines we sampled on the day. Sitting in the courtyard for the afternoon was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon and the...

i will definitely recommend to those who want to enjoy and relax during weekend, especially family. the house had a big area, big and fully equipped kitchen, ipod docker, board games... the list goes on. it is worth the money because we only paid less than aud for such a big house which the maximum guess are 8 even though we had a group of 6. i like how they decorate t...

We stayed at the Estate for 2 nights. Wow! what a wonderful place. Acres of vineyards and beautiful views. The rooms was large, clean and had the best views. The bed, omg so comfy and huge! What a lovely relaxing place to stay on th Mornington Peninsula. We were so impressed with how thoughtful our hostess, Pauline was, and provided snacks, breakfast, and even a bottle of champers in the fridge. lots to amuse you from chooks, to a pool table, lots of books, movies and games.

Was a lovely stay at bayside...Vanessa was very kind to allow and provide an extra bedding as I had a last minute addition to our travel party. However communication was a little difficult as it was not obvious that the owner's number were being listed. But the stay was comfortable and both me and my girlfriend were very happy with the fresh smelling bedlinens. Feels j...

If you're looking for a nice weekend getaway in Mornington Peninsula, then this is hands-down the best place you can be. The room was spacious and comfy with good amenities and an impressive range of in-room movies (all included by the way). I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the night snuggled up with my girl. Definitely worth a stay!

Its a big area to explore. We stayed in Arthurs View, drove one day exploring Blairgowrie, Sorrento & Portsea - great houses and walks.
