The staff first struck me as nice and friendly. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, a great plus in the summer when Nice is hot and humid. The lockers are also useful with many compartments to keep your items, though do bring your own padlock. There are curtains for your bed if you need a little more privacy. Space inside the room itself is rather tight, though and it's not so convenient to put on the sheets yourself considering how big and heavy the mattress is. The bathroom floor is easily wet (would suggest to have a bigger towel or mat for the floor), and lacks hand soap at the sink. On the ground floor the common area is pretty nice, though I believe there is no kitchen for self-cooking. It is well located, very near to the train station and walkable to get to the coast and old town. The area feels safe and quiet and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. All in all would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone wanting to stay in Nice.

Ideal for backpackers. You can use the kitchen to eat food, and surprisingly, there is a sauna and a gym in the basement. Conveniently located near department stores and Massena Square. And the staff responded well. It seems to be good at cleaning. When you travel from Nice to the suburbs, you have to find accommodation here. will have to pay for breakfast. And it was a shame that there was no olive oil in the kitchen such as basic sauce, sugar and salt. There are only kitchen utensils.

I like the staffs, especially two housekeeper ladies! They are soooo friendly and nice, so does the receptionist Terry, he concerns every guest and tries his best to help. Location is perfect, 2 minutes to Nice Ville(FS) by walk, also can take bus number 99 to the airport ( timetable start from 7:00am, every 30 minutes)€6, 10 minutes to main centre by walk.

I highly recommend l'hôtel la Belle Meunière! The staff is very friendly and service minded and the room was nice and clean. I stayed in a room with three other people and we had our own bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower worked very well and we had a nice air conditioner in the room. Me and my friend spend several evenings in the nice courtyard, under the flowering trees. I will definitely come back!

My stay was astounding. By far the BEST hostel in Nice! If you stay at Faubourg Montmartre Guest House--expect 5-star treatment, great facilities, provide guests with very good hospitality. You won't be disappointed if you book a bed here. Give them a try, see how you can experience NICE in a truly unforgettable time.

i stayed here for 4 nights and I would definitely come back. Even though we shared the bathroom (I was in the dorm), it was always clean and there was never timing issues. The room was comfortable and I had breakfast with sea view every morning. The breakfast was simple but I quite enjoyed it! Hosts were discreet and hardly ever around. The location is perfect for discovering Nice.

Me and my partner stayed for a week during the Euros and after reading some reviews where a bit nervous. I have to say that for the money we found no fault with the hotel. It is a 2 star hotel ao you should expect 2 star. The location is beside the station and beside the tram stop so was perfect. We didnt have breakfast so i cant comment on that but overall we had a great stay.

First time visit to Nice for a couple for days, this hotel is really convenient as it is located about 10 minutes walk from the Train Station (we travelled via TGV from Paris) and about 20 minutes to the beach, or 15 minutes to the food street/ shopping street. Perfect location as long as you do not hate walking. The room is actually pretty nice and the receptionist was really friendly too. We actually have no complaints at all with the stay. There is also a Carrefour about 7 minutes walk away from the hotel (between hotel and beach), and 30 seconds away there is the VeloBleu bicycle rental. The only shortfall is that, you will see a lot of dungs during your walk from hotel to the beach, which is uncontrollable by hotel of course, but i wonder why the journey has the most dung which I do not find it at other streets in Nice.

Very nice hotel, lovely staff, We had problem with tobacco stench in room and pillows the first night but the staff happily moved us to better room next day. Good breakfast.

Clean and cozy room at a very convenient location in the city center. Nice and helpful staff. If you arrive at late night, ask them in advance so they will instruct you how to get in the room even after their reception time is ended and you can officially check-in next morning. Some simple kitchen equipment, dinnerware and cutlery are provided in the room so you can cook simple dishes bringing in your own foods and seasonings if you like. Supermarkets are near by or within walking distance. One concern to me was that the room was described as "no view" room, but I actually had a good view of city and open sky from a pair of tall windows, which was better than I wished for. This hotel is not for someone who likes to have services for everything or an opulent, gorgeous stay at a five-star hotel, but one of my best hotel choices I ever made, as I would rather prefer staying with taste of a local life.

Great location in terms of experiencing the city, close to public transportation and the promenade. Not all of the staff is good with the English language, but it was not an issue for us. The room was simple, but nice with a small balcony.

We loved our stay at this hotel in Nice. The room was very small but the bed was comfortable, the shower hot with good water pressure & the bathroom was well set out. The location was great, close to the centre of Nice, the coast & the train station. The staff were lovely & accommodating & the breakfast was good. We would happily stay there again.

This place is in a very good location, it’s near to the main train station if you wanted to do day trips out of Nice. Staff were very nice all through our stay although there may be a bit of language barrier when we tried checking in. The rooms are quite spacious aswell and comfortable to sleep in. I just wish it was a little bit more cleaner especially the floor. Otherwise, pleasant stay and deffo recomment as it is good value for money!

The room is nice although on the smaller size. The shower was small but shower room big. The hotel is near the beach which is great and about a 20 min walk to downtown. There is a great patisserie right near the hotel. The best feature of the hotel is the staff. The guy and girl who maned the front desk in the morning while we were there were amazing! Provided us with lots of tips and helpful guides such as maps and bus schedules. We had little plans for our trip and they really helped with what to do and how to get there.

I stayed in hotel one night because i was on a long trip and i had to make one stop for one night around Milano. I've booked this hotel because is still in center of Milano as a wanted to do some shoppingnext day. I was very pleasured with room condition and friendly staff. There is maybe just one little complain - hotel doesn't have its own secured parking. Anyway i've parked on payable parking just around the corner and there was no problem at all.

Bed is big, staff is nice. But there is not many restaurant near by. You may walk a while to find. Also, you can only connect to wifi in the hotel lobby. However, it is not very fast at all. Also, no breakfast is included. By the way, you can have a nice breakfast outside. You know, restaurants nice are cheap and find! I highly recommend the seafood in there!!

Quite nice, it is an bed and breakfast hotel. It was a 6~7 storey resident building and the one room apartment given to us was on the 6th floor. building had a lift, so no worries.. no breakfast or food menu available as you get a one room apartment on rent with some tea/coffee bags, however it is no big deal as the place is centrally located and there are so many restaurants nearby.. Very Close to Nice railway station (few blocks away), tram station was next door. excellent location and the view from balcony was amazing.. nice cheap hotel considering you are using it only to sleep as there Nice is such a wonderful place that you will be out of the hotel for most of the time.

it is very close to train station. so you can easily find the location of the hotel. the hotel is recently renovated, so the facility and bed is quite clean and have good condistion. staffs were facing some problem in english communication, but tried to solve the problems at their best.

We loved nice!!!. The location of the hotel is perfect only a 10 Min walk to the train station the beach and the shops and cafes are all around you. The rooms where big enough and always kept clean, when we first arrived the hotel staff where welcoming and helped us get a good understanding of the city, the only bad side of the room was that we had to keep the doors of the bathroom and toilet closed as you could smell the sewer, there is a restaurant outside the hotel on the corner the best food we have had in France by far was amazing !

I was only in Nice for one night. The hotel was not fancy, but it was clean and cost effective. The hotel was within walking distance to the airport, no need for the 12E taxi. If you arrive in Terminal 2 take the free shuttle to Terminal 1 and walk to the right out of the airport. It is a very short walk to the hotel. The bus terminal is behind the hotel and for 1E you can go to the centre of Nice. I walked back along the waterfront which took a little over an hour and was very pleasant.

We stayed here in Aug 2010. The hotel was clean with friendly, helpful staff. We had a double room on the top floor. (Thankfully, the lifts were of good quality and efficient!) The room was on the small side - but this is typical for France. The bathroom was adequate and clean as was the rest of the room. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The complementary tea-making facilities were good and useful - they even provided biscuits and mints! The only downside was the cupboard space! This consisted of one small wardrobe.

The hotel is located in a quiet street and next to a tram station which made it easily accessible to the beach area. There is a market outside the hotel too. The hotel is brand new. The staff are nice and friendly. Overall good value for the money.

Recommended for the people who visit Nice, hotel located in good location, and the owner is very friendly. The only cons is the lift might be small which only can squeeze 2 people inside. Overall still highly recommended.

Very good location. Close to the Main Street and train station. Tram line very close by to take you towards the promenade. Nice stroll straight down to the promenade either. Staff very friendly and rooms cleaned and fresh towels on a daily basis. Not noisy at all. Beds very comfy. Only negative is the lack of English tv channels, very wet one morning and would have been nice to chill and watch some tv while we waited for the rain to ease off

Our 1 night stay at Apogia hotel was ok. Location was good. We travelled for almost 3 weeks with stays at many different hotels, mostly 3-star. Apogia rating themselves as 4-star but is the only hotel during our trip that does not provide free-wifi access to guests, abit disappointing. It may not be a must, but definitely a plus to have this service included for convenience of the guests. We have stays with other hotels in Nice, all has wifi provided.

hotel altaïr is in the heart of nice and only 5 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from the beach, the old town, and the flower market. the pedestrian zone is easily reached on foot, so you don't need to take the bus! ideal for going out at night. our staff is here to help you during your stay, providing you with any information you need. reception’s opening time : 8 am to 11 pm once you are here there is no curfew so you can come back at any time. our rooms: pick from either private double rooms or mixed/ shared dorms with 4 to 6 beds a room with a hot shower. some have a balcony! when you arrive at the hostel we don't take credit card. we provide cover bed and cover pillow for free. we rent top sheet (1€) and towel(1€) we ask a deposit of 30€ at the check in for the keys cancellation policy : must give us 24 hours notice to cancel or change a booking and only by email . it's 24 hours before the check in (12.30am) the hostel reserves the right to refuse booking if your credit card is expired at your arrival !!! once you are in the hostel you cannot be refunded for your stay.

GoOd service, nice location, and near the beach. Very close to the riviera beach and the train station so we can easily walk to the hotel, also the bus stop is just about 15 minutes walk. Therefore, we can catch the bus to monaco very easily. It is very convenient when we travel with no car. I recommend this hotel. Even it's a two star hotel, but the service is good and the room is clean and nicely furnished.

We have visited the hotel in June 2019 for 5 nights. The hotel is located in main street - 15 minutes by walk to the beach and the old town, with easy access to all attractions in Nice and costal area (Monaco, Eze, etc.) - very close to the train station and bus stops. The breakfast was excellent and various. There have scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, ham, fresh fruit -melon and watermelon, freshly baked croissants, etc. The staff is extremely polite, with free use of English language. The internet connection in the room was very good. We don’t have any problems during our staying and don’t have any complaints about the hotel. Strongly recommend to anyone who decided to stay in the hotel Best Western New York.

The hotel could be described as a small bouquet hotel, i.e.,small, compact but very pleasant. The rooms are a little on the small size for the business traveler for whom this stay was simply one leg of a multi-leg journey, and if I had been travelling together with someone ....very cramped! I can't comment on the location vis-à-vis the seafront and the town's attractions. I was attending a congress in a nearby university, and it cost me over 20 euros each way for a trip I would have expected to cost 10. Transfer between the hotel and the airport should be arranged in advance at a flat rate of 35 euros. If traffic is bad, a normal taxi will cost more. The reception staff in the hotel were great, very friendly and extremely helpful with very good English. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean, although the shower stall in the room I had was not exactly generous for someone of greater than average girth, and the daily ration of 1 small container of shampoo/conditioner and postage-stamp-sized bar of soap could have been a little more generous. The lift is a delightful steel caged anachronism!! Fortunately it is really well-maintained so it's efficiency belies its turn-of-the-century (20th Century that is) appearance and modus operandi! Invariably, however, some previous user forgets to close the inner doors, and then you have to make the slog up or down the stairs! The Wi-Fi was fee and adequate, but at busy times the bandwidth shrank so that it was impossible to get logged on. Obviously several rooms shared the same ID and password, because the error message: "Exceeded your allowed number of simultaneous connections" often appeared. Breakfast was good value and a good buffet selection was offered, but be sure to eat a lot to make up the 14 euro charge!! There are a number of good and reasonably-priced restaurants of various genres within easy walking distance of the hotel
