Find Hotels in Oberstdorf, Germany

The hotel is a little out of date but we had a nice stay here. The food at breakfast and dinner was the best we've eaten since we've moved to Germany. The view from our room was beautiful in the room itself was quite spacious. However I am a bit of a germophobe and the bedding wasn't very clean with a hairs on the pillows... anyways the staff was friendly for the most part and most spoke English.

Most rude and slapdash cleaning staff I've seen anywhere fro a long time. Tea bag topping up very inconsistent, shower soap installed with the cap left on. Restaurant lovely, but if not on half board kept away from the tables by the windows. In fact moved very rudely to an inside table and that from a table with a printed menu on it but no reserved sign. Bar service that evening almost non existent. On the positive side the single room was exactly as advertised with a lovely view from the balcony.

We arrived at 2PM and the afternoon cafe was being prepared. The smell of the fresh coffee and home made jam was all around the reception area. It was a calling for the beginning of a great weekend. The hotel room was clean and the terrace is facing the mountains. The most amazing and beautiful view I have ever seen! The only one construction visible between the mountains and the hotel wasthis little church that gave to the scene a even more romantic background. The food all home made and the staff (all family members) took care of everything. English speakers and with surprisingly good mood were ale to turn this cold winter weekend on a warm welcome to the oberstdorf ski season with friends. Try out the saunna also! And remember to not wear any clothes :)

Good hotel with good breakfast. The bed wasn't to our liking and unfortunately the floors are thin, so you can hear the people in the room above you walking around. However, the hotel is newly renovated and with friendly staff. The view from the balcony was great and we could enjoy the sun untill sunset. Relaxing atmosphere.
