"I love this hotel. It’s tucked away on a residential street filled with children, dogs and instruments makers. Mostly wind and string. There are two restaurants on the street other of which I recommend. Turning left from the hotel and go to the end of the block. There is a pharmacy, a bakery and a bar!! Go around the pharmacy (Paris streets resemble spokes on a wheel. Sometime getting somewhere it’s not so much a right or left angle but a curve.) and there a grocery store with a nice selection. Check in was easy and very friendly. Elizabeth was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. The hotel is was going through some renovations which wasn’t a hindrance. We stayed in room 423. It had an interior courtyard view. Regulating the room heat required opening the windows but I love fresh air so no worries. The room was small and by that I mean there wasn’t any room to spread out the luggage. But that really didn’t bother me because the bed and bathroom were large with bathroom counter space, shower and bathtub. There were plenty of electrical outlets, a small fridge stocked with FREE drinks, a safe and kettle with an assortment of coffee and teas. Tv has several English speaking news programs, Spanish news, German soups and French programming. Check out was easy. Just had to pay for the city tax and we were done. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!!"

"This hotel is a great bang for the euro. But make sure you realize what it is. It's a hostel geared towards a younger crowd, not the Ritz. Once you understand what the demographic is, you'll realize this hotel is great. The rooms are clean and functional. There is no TV, but this is Paris. If you're watching TV, you're doing it wrong. If you want a hair dryer, you need to trade your passport or id at the front desk for one (remember the demographic). The restaurant is functional & cheap, but recommend spending a few more euros on better options (but great for that Americano or hot chocolate after a day of sightseeing). There is a lounge area for smokers (covered area between two buildings). Location is right on Colonel Fabien circle with a metro right on the circle (serious selling point as it made everything accessible). There are also restaurants on the circle and many more just a short walk away. Staff was stupendous - super friendly and helpful. Well worth it!"

"You get what you pay for with this hostel. This is not a hotel, so don't expect room service, TV in your room,or other facilities.Location is good, easy to find, near a Metro, but noisy. That's Paris for you. Entrance is through a bar, no lift or escalator, narrow staircase to rooms, so if you can't manage stairs, reconsider. My room was on 6th floor, very small room, painted purple, no table or chair, small shower. Bed linen & towels clean, but I got an allergic reaction from something in Paris, maybe not in hostel, but I came out in painful, itchy red blocthes. Welcome to Paris. Staff were friendly, & spoke English. Room had a card to unlock door, so security ok. Paris is expensive, & affordable rooms are hard to find, and book up in advance, so consider this hostel if you are on a budget, or last minute traveller, but bear in mind the stairs, & small room size. "The room size has been comprimised for style. The double room was more sized for a single person, not enough room for 2 suitcases, a bit tight for getting dressed and not quite enough shelves in the bathroom but apart from that a very well kept, modern and chic hotel, in a good place close to Champs Elysees and close to a great bistro on the corner for that refreshing beer and burger and people watching."
