Pensacola (FL) hotels & places to stay

Room was clean and acceptable. Our hotel room door was off alignment. Had a big gap/space at the top corner of door and we could see the light from hallway.

This was our first stay at this At Home Inn and Suites. We enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet, the pool was big and clean with lots of chairs around it. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, close to i10 and about 20 minutes from Pensacola Beach. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Great breakfasts. All the associates/Employees were kind and thoughtful. Cost was not as high as if I went to a hotel at the beach. and downtown was quite nice. If you are heading to anything for Pensacola Christian College it is only a mile or two away. Things seemed pretty clean. Pool area is beautiful

I found 4 rooms at only $70 a night. We took our youth group here for a conference. I was worried about what the rooms would be like because the price was so cheap but I was presently surprised! This hotel was an amazing deal! The staff was amazing as well. Well...I say staff, it was only one lady who made our trip great. Her name was Sondra. The rest of the staff was a bit rude. But I'd go back just for Sondra! She was the sweetest! I would def recommend this place for large groups. Not for a romantic weekend stay though. It was about 20-30 mins from the beach.

definitely disappointed in the cleanliness of this motel and our room in particular. the carpet in our room was so dirty that the bottom of my feet were black. Our phone in the room did not work and it took over 24 hrs to fix. Our toilet was not flushing very well. We had to lodge two complaints before maintenance came to look at it. That person left the plunger in our room. We were told that breakfast would be ready at 7 Thursday morning. My husband was eating at 5:30. Then we were told it would be ready at 6 on Friday morning, the day we were leaving. It was not ready at that time so we left without eating. The lady that checked us in was very nice. Can't say much for the rest of the staff

I didn't have any problems with my stay. Check-in was easy, and even though I arrived late, they had no problem with keeping my room reserved. All the appliances worked, and the room was clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the vending machines in the lobby. However, as a female traveling alone, the area around the hotel made me nervous, so I wouldn't go outside at night. But everything in the hotel was great, and staff was very friendly and helpful!

Our stay was great. Was here for the week. Staff was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and hot. If ever in Pensacola again will definitely stay again.

Beds were uncomfortable, furniture need to be updated, funny smell. Pictures of the room were very deceptive. Will never stay here again.

Room smells cigarette, dirty bathroom, hallway smells. Roaches all over the place. I would never ever stay in this place. Breakfast is no longer available even from the very start of the breakfast time of 7. Then the left over food the sausage patties is as hard as a rock, donut hard also that seem to be the left over for so many days. It does not deserve even one star at all.

A good value, cleanliness a plus. Some things need addressed. 1. Mattress forces the light to flicker because it pushes against the wall socket 2. Water gets warm but not hot in the shower and sink. 3. Over paint in the shower is flaking off. 4. Three bananas were the only fruit (other than juice) and they were gone the first day. Recommend apples. I am not complaining, just reporting observations because I believe you want to know.

I was driven to this hotel from Pensacola Beach. I stayed over night and when I went to the airport the next morning, I was shocked that the airport was only like a block away. I was out by the pool, I went to the mall and NEVER heard an airplane. The people who work there are so nice and the breakfast room was clean as could be. I would definitely stay here again.

The overall of the facility and staff was outstanding. The front desk clerk named Tony is the reason I returned numerous of times. Exquisite personality and extremely helpful. My number 1 pick

I have stayed at the hotel many times - it is a lovely hotel but is let down by reception staff who do not make you feel welcome. The doormen and reception staff need to adopt a more welcoming manner to their guests however busy they may be. Room service staff were always nice as was the lovely lady who serves at the pool. I will stay at this hotel again and only mention the welcome because it has not improved over the years.

When we were booking our trip, we wanted something close to airport,shuttle and we delighted with position an how friendly the staff where when we arrived

The staff was AWESOME, they were friendly, caring and so very nice. The room was clean but we had no internet service the whole time we were there for our laptop. The staff offered to move us to another room, but we are both over 60 and we had settled in so we just stay in the room we were given. The Breakfast was very Good. They had BACON Yall, LOL. The bed was very comfortable other than the internet our stay was very good. And we would stay again just not in the room. This is an older Hotel, so you expect some wear and tear, there was NO mild dew smells or other smells in the lobby or our room. Everything smelled very clean and the bedding was spotless and clean. Believe me I check everything, LOL

West Pensacola is not the best area but it was well lit and I had no issues leaving my car in the parking lot. Very friendly staff and clean rooms

The room was clean and worth the price i paid for it. The only con i can think of is the ac unit didn’t have a heater option and we had to ask for more towels. Other than that the stay was enjoyable and i would stay there again.

One of the front staff members, Snow, was very kind and friendly during our stay. He gave my partner and I a great first impression which allowed us to feel welcomed to the hotel. The breakfast was also really good with many options and was very convenient especially during beach days when you just want to grab a quick bite and go. It's in a good location right in Downtown Pensacola where all the bars, coffee shops, museums, and several restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is about a 15 min drive but could be more during high traffic times. I would definitely recommend this place.

filthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Refused to use the shower!!!!!!! Just because toilet water is BLUE..does NOT mean it's clean!!! FILTHY room!!!!!!

We came back to our room after being gone most of the day to find the cleaning staff had not shut the door completely, anyone could have entered the room, luckily we took everything with us except our clothes. Also, the room next to us must have been a smoking room because a few times we went into our bathroom you could smell the strong oder of cigarettes-it was nauseating. No fridge or microwave this time-very disappointed with this stay.

horrible. Room smelled like mold. Best only had one sheet, no pressure from shower head. People were knocking on our door at 3am looking for a unknown name. People were hanging outside all times of the morning, day and night. Women were getting in and out of trucks every 10 minutes. Pillows were not comf. Wifi kept failing every 5 minutes. People were outside out hotel room smoking, drinking and partying. I would not want my worst enemy to stay here. Tv was out of date and picture was horrible. I had to spray odium and YSL cologne to try and kill the odor coming from the room. Receptionist was not friendly or welcoming. Shower head had no pressure. Sink had no pressure. I booked this room blind to the location

They broke my bottle of perfume that my kids gave me for my birthday and didn't take responsibility

Courteous front desk. No laundry facility, shampoo/conditioner or hair dryer. Ice machine in office area. Clean but spartan. Uncomfortable bed. Only 3 poorly located electrical plugs with one only accessible by moving mattress away from wall. Sketchy neighborhood in industrial area of car dealerships. Need car to get to restaurants, attractions.

First and foremost, Candlewood Suites Pensacola felt very safe and extremely clean. We choose this property because it is near NAS and Corry Station. Our daughter is in the Navy, so we brought her dog to visit her. Few pet friendly hotels are as clean and as welcoming as this Candlewood Suites. I appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and pots, pans and silverware in the room. My daughter wanted to make a dessert and we were able to borrow a mixer from the front desk. How wonderful is that? They have a variety of kitchen tools to use. In fact, we used bbq tools to grill outside on the gas grills near the lovely little pool. The staff, without exception, was efficient, professional and friendly.

I got a great deal on the room ($55 for the night), so for me it was a great place. Clean, spacious room, and close to where I needed to be.

Stepped into our room & there was broken glass everywhere. Found blunt wrappers in the sheets, in our made beds, it was nasty, & no effort put in to make it better. I will never stay here again. The photos this place used online are not accurate and it was almost so bad it almost ruined our vacation. Druggies everywhere asking if u want to buy this or that. Do not go here
