Phillip Island hotels & places to stay

Booked a 1-bedroom unit months before the trip and maybe that's why the rate paid for a 2-night stay was very very reasonable. With GPS, Silverwater Resort is easily located within San Remo and the supermarket/ petrol station etc are all within a 3min drive down the main road (towards/ near Phillip Island). The allocated unit (hillside) faces the sea and is a good spot to view sunset at the dining area (balcony). Just like most pictures posted, all room Amentities are clean and good, especially the almost full kitchen that comes with clean crockery, cutleries, fridge, dishwasher etc. Washing liquid included. The only little letdown was the dryer did not dry our clothes as there was some pipe malfunction - btw this was quickly savaged with a very prompt room service; the staff tried to fix but could not and had our clothes immediately sent to housekeeping. Our clothes hence, reached 'home' earlier than us that day. :) The resort also has great facilities which sadly we had no time to use.. I believe the outdoor and indoor pools are great and so is the game arcade. We absolutely love the playground with that big jumping pillow. We totally had fun!! For all the very good touch points we had with the resort and staff, I will say Silverwater Resort is a must-stay the next time we come back. Thumbs up and keep up the good service!

Book this hotel due to saw photos with cooking facilities. However, feel very disappointed as there is no kitchenware inside the FAMILY room even I would like to change/upgrade to a room with kitchenware as it was fully occupied during that day. Being told all room is with kitchenware except family room. For my perception family room should include cooking facilities compare with normal standard/deluxe room. Anyway, this is my mistake for not double-check before book. Others - cleanliness good, the bed is comfort, kids love the children playground. If back to Philip Island will stay to this motel again & will make sure it's with the kitchenware room.

A very clean hotel and very short driving distance to San Remo or other tourist attraction places like Chocolate Factory, Koala Conservation Centre, etc in Phillip Island. The staff was friendly and so kind of him recommending us the places to visit with a complimentary map of Phillip Island. The reception counter is opened only from 9am - 5pm but if you wish to check in late, they may leave your room key at the reception & no worries for early check out too! Internet/WIFI available but chargeable. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, thanks!

We booked 3-bedroom Oceanic Apartment @ Thompson but was upgraded to 3-bedroom Philip Island Apartments. The staff greeted us warmly at the reception and the check-in procedure was very smooth. The apartment was clean and cozy with all the neccesities provided. We made a right move by staying overnight at this beautiful island after viewing the penguins but if given another chance, we would definitely choose to stay for 3D2N in this apartment! Lovely!

Location is convenient, just a few minutes drive to supermarket and pengiun parade. Owner is friendly even provide us with extra heater when we reached there, brief us about Phillip Island and places to visit. Parked just right in front of the room. Kitchen facilities are equipped. Pls do check if the microwave is working well. Thanks alot for the hospitality.

2 bedroom apartment was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. Great location. Didn’t have central heating. We were on 1st floor and could hear kids running around from floor above us.

OMG! this is a designer’s house! stylish and delicated!! it is well equipped with kitchen ware so that we could enjoy cooking the local food freely! the host Eve was so generous to upgrade a one bedroom apartment to us❤️ She was also helpful to give us advice for the best places to visit in the phillip island. Judy brought us a very happy and memorable experience in the phillip island.

Hotels in Phillip Island is not cheap and quays motel provide a comfort place with unbeatable price. If you are not insist to stay in the island, then Quays motel is a consideration option. Nearby hotel got some excellent restaurants, Mario's is one of them. The only comment is the house keeper forgot to put electric blanket on our double bed, we call to receiption counter and the staff personally bring it to our room and help us to put it in place.

We stay at Tropicana motor inn for our time spent in Phillip Island. The room is clean and very spacious. we love the tropical feel and the nice swimming pool. It is 2 min drive to cowes and 10 min drive to Penguin Parade. I would stay in Tropicana motor inn again if I travel to Phillip Island in the furture.

Nothing negative about this place thus 5 stars to everything.. Shops/banks/Cafes are nearby with a bottleshop (hotel/motel reception) and sports bar just outside. San Remo's Fishermans Co-op is a stones throw away and entry to Phillip Island is just infront of the motel. Nothing more that you can ask for 😋

Booked this place for a night stay but after arriving on Phillip island realised that we should have stayed 2 nights. The place was nice n quiet. Clean. Convenient parking n location. I recommend 2 nights on the island esp if u r travelling with a young one (ours is 15 month)

We swim at the Cowes Caravan park beach . Good experience . Staff very helpful . Beds with linen . Clean and comfortable. Barbecue facility is good . And near to Cowes city center.

Room is small with just enough space for 2 luggage to be placed on the side of the bed. Washing basin/sink is outside the toilet... table top easily wet after washing up... Can't stay on Philip Island due to all rooms fully booked, so had to settle for Pelicans Motel. Driving from Motel to Penguin Parade wasn't that far... but other than that... perhaps would have preferred a better hotel on Philip Island.

Stayed two nights at a 2 bedroom villa on 11-13 May. Accommodation is well maintained and is equipped with all the essentials. Its location is also near to all the Phillip Island attractions such as Koala Reserve, Churchill Island, Chocolate Factory (Pannys) and Penguin Parade. Groceries can be easily purchased from the nearby Cowes neighbourhood. Resort also has an in-house restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner, as well as Health Centre (gym), playground, game arcade, tennis court etc. Overall highly recommended for anyone who are looking to visit Phillip Island!

We had a really great time in Phillip island and Arthur Phillip Motor Inn was a great place to stay. It was clean, quiet and close to everything we needed. The staff were wonderful people sharing information about local attractions. The room had plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this Motor inn to any body for short stay. The price was also a very big plus, the price was cheaper than most other places I looked at. thank you very much we would like to come back one day. We did not eat the food so hard to rate it.

The stay was fantastic. We were after a nice, quiet place that is of good quality. We could not have expected any better. The hosts were great, the breakfast arrangement is brilliant because you can choose when to have breakfast. The facilities were exactly as we wished. Overall, it as a perfect fit for what we were looking for.

As with always just ring before arrival to confirm booking and sort out late arrival details. We might have had a slightly less smooth arrival to the island otherwise so late at night.

We received a very warm welcome after a long journey, settled in briefly before whizzing off to the Penguin Safari. Our room was very clean and well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic. My wife is gluten intolerant and this was not a problem for the chef. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

The hostess Sue was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The house is a lovely setting with a fountain out the front and a nice garden setting. It is close to the centre of town (a short 5 minute walk). We will be heading back to here when we return to Phillip Island.

Highly recommend if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and to explore Phillip Island. Though they were other competitive high end accommodation nearby, this place gave you the feeling of home away from home. If you don't like the typical hotel setting this place is a must and at a reasonable price. Perhaps visit during the warmer seasons as pool was too cold for the young ones to have a dip. Would recommend bringing your own toiletries and other essentials and depending on what deal you get from booking sites full linen is provided and will be charged for extra. Other than that will be returning here if we visit the island again.

The staff were great and very friendly. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean, though the lounge area was very small in the two bedroom cabin. The main disappointment was there was no pool facilities and the location was on the edge of Phillip Island so a little bit far from Cowes.

Great location and beautiful apartment, would definately recommend. The only disappointment was with the sliding door not being able to lock.

Stayed for just one night, only 1km from the penguin parade. Excellent room and the best breakfast spread we had during our travels. Very helpful owner

Loved it. Was comfy, and in a great location. We went to Amaze n things park which was extremely convenient and we got discount entry which was even better. It was only a short drive to the shops and the penguins. Was really convenient. And when we checked in we were greeted and the service was very friendly! The cabin was nice and clean and big enough, having everything we needed.

Very nice place and room, fabulous view. Owner is very nice and thoughtful, breakfast is superb! I definitely will recommend anyone to Philip Island to stay in here.

nice, clean apartment. No washing machine in the apartment itself. Really chilly in the rooms when we went in June even though the heater was switched on 24/7. Do note that the toilet is really small and it's not convenient if u guys need to bathe your babies or toddlers. Location is great if self drive. Do try Asian Kitchen at the town centre to satisfy your cravings for Asian crusine. Their Tom Yam soup is one of the best we have tasted. A bit ex though..
