The hotel has a small pool which kids would love. Walking distance (300 metres) to 'downtown' area of Port Stephens Visitor Information Centre, piers, shopping centre, restaurants and groceries. Plenty of parking spaces, spacious room, neat and tidy. Staff are helpful and give you a warm feeling.

Mostly pros from me. I found the staff to be friendly, attentive and helpful from the start. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. I opted to bring my port-a-cot but they can provide them for just $15. The beach is right across the road and there is an IGA in the same complex as well as some lovely restaurants nearby so you really don’t need to leave Shoa...

the resort comes with a heated pool, a tennis court and cooking facilities. the rooms are spacious and clean, with cool adjoining balconies. plus, it is located extremely near the beach where you can book tours for port stephens and within walking distance of numberous places to eat. a very reasonably priced resort!

Looking for a place in Port Stephens where 3 generations of our family could meet up and relax together during the Christmas-New Year period, I found The Anchorage on the internet and it looked like the ideal answer: no-one would have to cook (the breakfast, which was included, was wonderful) and we could all enjoy being near the water in a beautiful location. I booked...

nestled in a residential part of port stephens, it's convenient if you have a car. no complaints but compliments of the service. accomodating to our needs of laundry service and free wifi. walking distance to the west diggers club for meals and entertainment. nice cool walk in the evenings within vicinity of the inn. close by to nelson bay by car for cruise to watch do...

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottages and had a lovely time. The cabin had all that we needed for a weekend away, which was good since it was our first trip with a baby. Ian was wonderful, helping us change our reservation to a night earlier at the last minute when we realised that we had booked the wrong dates on our drive up. Lovely location out in the woods.

We spent 2 nights there over the Australia long weekend.. I think we paid about $170+ for a budget cabin. Not sure if the price is reasonable. This place is great. The beach is beautiful! I do not recommend if you want to camp there as they are a lot of permanent residence. Some sites can be between 2 cabins. I wish they can update the pool a little. There is only one ...

Lovely place to get some peace and serenity and still close to all amenities. Units are not massive but clean and cater for all your need the beds are the best I have slept on. The grounds are huge great for kids to run around great amenities to play BBQ areas a really wonderful place for the money.

Location is great / but no views from apartments close proximity to club & Marina though.. self contained appartments have all you need to be self sufficient. Staff are friendly & helpful. Pool area was being upgraded but was still useable & heated which was a nice surprise. Wifi is available free only a small amount though with older children using it up fairly quickl...

oaks pacific blue is a good base for your stay in port stephens. not sure about public transport, but the hotel is a short drive away (10-20 mins) from most key sightseeing spots and activities. it is also right across a shopping mall - very convenient. the room was fantastic and great value for money (it seemed to be off peak period in port stephens during june / wi...

Really disappointed. The room smelt like it was cleaned in fish oil and when we spoke to the lady at reception she was not phased at all, didn't bother to send someone to clean it nor did she apologise. When it was check out as we were told, strictly 10am the front counter was empty. The same lady yelled out she would be a minute, after 5 she still had not come. Event...

Its a great place for young kids to have a good time without going too far. They have an indoor water park which is 29°C so it can be used during winter as well. I booked the deluxe cabin,It has 4 single bunk beds and in the other room there was a Queen size bed.The level of cleaning has to improve where the floor in the lounge and kitchen area. Still is a good place t...

we had a fantastic time at anne's waterfront as their services were excellent, and the view of the room was great! the rooms were very clean.. with the tea room and the balcony and a lovely bathroom.. it was just like a home to us. we will definitely recommend our friends to come here if they visit port stephens.

Had a great weekend getaway at this place. It's a short drive to everything in Port Stephens including Anna Bay and Nelson's Bay etc. Rooms were pretty standard with basic facilities, but it had a nice pool with a great heated spa that made the cool days a pleasure. It was tempting to stay there for hours, especially after braving the cold pool. Staff there were...

We reach very late that night almost 1am and we have no problem getting into our room. We have everything there, coffee maker microwave etc. If u need to do laundry just ask Trish. Its just like a place call home. Very warm welcome and chat with the owner Trish and her hubby. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed there for 2 nights and we got the jacuzzi spa. We love th...

This was our thrid holiday at Cote D'Azur. Very reasonably priced. My family stayed for a week in a two bedroom spacious apartment. It is really close to the main centre. I normally like to bring my own sleeping bag as I do not like to use the blanket from hotels but I dont have to bring one whenever I stay at Cote D'Azur. My family enjoy the Sauna faclity among other...

The cabin is very new and clean. With washimg machine and dryer. You can wash your clothing and dry it at the same time. A lovely kitchen that you can cook for the whole family. The location is close to the town center where u can find many restorants and shops.Should stay at Halifax Holiday Park if you are planning a holiday at Nelson Bay.

A reasonable stay for the price. Really is out of the way if you came to see Port Stephens. But, on the flip side you'd be paying at least $100 more if it was in a more convenient location. The food at the club next door nothing fancy although others wrote positively about it. You get what you pay for and in this case that holds true. By no means bad but wouldnt rave a...

Port Stephens Motel was well stocked with all common amenities, crockery, microwave oven, fridge for your needs during your stay. Beds were clean and comfy, and wifi was provided free. Cars could be parked beneath your rooms for free and owner was a friendly and inviting bloke who greeted us during check-in and when we were driving off after check out. Location was a...

beautiful place, amazing hosts and lovely garden, the list can go on and on. The only missing item was a hair dryer. I'm a front sleeprt and found the mattress a little uncomfortable but my gf was okay as she is a back sleeper. overall it was a very good stay and will recommend this place to everyone who is heading to Port Stephens.

Its De-Lovely was a great find for us and one of the highlights of our trip to NSW.. Located across the road from the Bay and Beach and within walking distance to shops and cafes it ticks all the boxes. Really roomy and comfortable apartment. We enjoy our stay. Disappointed the BBQ didn't fully work (and the rust wasn't very inviting either!). Please update the website information to reflect the actual process for 'checking in'/ key collection and that payment by AMEX will not be accepted.

Traveler impressions of Port Stephens
Like the beaches, activities that I dont have it here in my country lika ATV, Sand dunes, parasailing, etc, lots of fun and sun here.
We went on dolphin cruise, tabogoning park, beach, shark encounters while we stayed. Heaps happy and love the white sand and clear waters.
Mainly good for beaches and relaxing laid back stays. Some night life with local clubs but not really for the all nighter type people who like to stay out partying all hours.
I've been to Port Stephens more than 5 times. However, I found people there are not as friendly as in the past, a bit disappointed.
We stayed at The Anchorage fantastic would go back for 5 days of relaxation. But we did not like the rest of Port Stephens we live at Port Macquarie and to compare it with Port Macquarie we did not like it at all.
dophlin trip, whale trip, oakvale farm must to go(2pm can fed koala)...Oakvale farm very good farm. sandboarding is a very fresh and fun activities.
Great view of the sea and sand dune. Great time sand boarding. Our boy had a great time riding the Quad-bikes.
A small town with beautiful view and restaurants. There are several 'standard' activities you can do here like dolphin watching, whale watching, sand boarding, horse or camel riding, diving etc.
Beautiful place. Zenith beach is one of the most beautiful and clean beaches I've been to. The Marinas are lovely, and it is always lovely to take boats out and interact with dolphins.
Port Stephens is a lovely destination for a short break. it offers many activities as well as all types of good accommodation.
Loved the dolphin cruise, sand dunes activities, especially the ATV rides. These are memorable things that stick for years.
Port Stephen is a gd place to live and get rest , gd for family time , and gd for someone who do need to relaxing
port stephens is very good area, we also did some sports adventures there on beach or four wheel driving
its a great place to visit any time of the year, do a dolphin cruise, and make sure you go to the ray centre
Make time to do some bush walking as there are a lot of walking tracks around and plenty to see on them especially all the wild flowers.
So many beautiful beaches around. Its worth checking them out if you like beaches :) Most recent one I went to was Zenith beach which was a beautiful secluded quiet beach next to Mount Tomaree.
Port Stephens is absolutely spectacular. The beaches are beautiful and water clear. The Tomaree National Park is fantastic to hike in, tracks are easy to follow.
Like the Bub's fish and chips; oysters at Holbert's Oyster Farm, enjoy the parrots around the beachs.
Disappointing experiences from numerous restaurants.Poor service, rude staff.Difficulty securing a table at 2 restaurants despite many empty tables.
Very populated area and busy roads... but easy to travel on streets. Nice little caches of beaches. Shame about the marina - it spoils what would have been a beautiful natural spot.
Great place for a holiday. lot's of good places to see and enjoy. one of my best spots for a short holiday
winter is cold but sunny - you can still have a good time outdoors in winter with all the activities around
