This place was amazing - the service was truly top notch here. From the cool towel and welcome drink/snack to going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I got sick during the end of the stay and they extended our check out to 5pm at no charge and then let us stay at another room until we took our transfer to the airport. Most afternoons we were greeted by staff with a cold towel, coming in from dusty temple exploring. They took care of our guide and car booking as well. Because of our early arrival and late departure, we oddly saw 3 different rooms - all of which were consistent, modern, and clean. It's hot, so we did find a few ants, but hey, it's still Siem Reap. The shower had great pressure (so be careful if you don't have a door enclosure when using the hand spray) and the rain shower was a nice touch. The pool area is truly an oasis. It was so nice to come back to the hotel after the messer streets of Siem Reap or the sandy temples. I've already recommended them to a close friend that will be in Siem Reap later this month!

Diamond D’ Angkor offers an exceptional level of hospitality and utmost comfort. The hotel offers complementary airport transfer which is very much welcomed. Centrally located, the hotel is 15mins drive from the airport and 10mins walk from the famous Pub Street. Upon reaching the hotel, the beautiful decor and spacious lobby will make you feel right at home. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Some rooms are also pool facing. The greatest joy from staying here will be the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. They can help you plan your days in Cambodia and Angkor Wat. We would like to especially commend Mr John and Mr Len for their warmth and amazing service. They really make us feel welcomed throughout our stay in Siem Reap. They even gave us a traditional Khmer scrawl upon check-out! It has been a pleasure staying at this hotel. Should we ever be back in Siem Reap, we will definitely stay here again!

We have absolutely enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel. Memoire d Angkor has exceeded all of our expectations that a boutique hotel could offer, the BEST i have experienced so far. Hotel's location: 9/10 Hospitality: 9/10 Ambience: 7/10 (some renovation outside the hotel is ongoing) Comfort: 10/10 (GREAT beddings and pillows makes our return trip from Angkor a relaxing one) Room size: SPACIOUS WIFI: 9/10 Breakfast: 8/10 Minor touches: free laundry, mini bar service. They even decorate our room to a special honeymoon ambience ;) Being a first timer in Cambodia, this hotel has made our stay/ honeymoon the best experience ever. We had a wonderful stay at Hari residence Hotel and spa. Even they managed to pick us up at the airport. Our flight was delayed but the driver waited for us with our name in his hands. When we arrived Kimnang was the one who acquainted us with our bookings, even escorted us to our rooms. She was the best. Made us feel like vip. U could ask her anything and she could provide the info u need. The hotel was awesome. Pool, restaurant, gym and spa everything is on the 5th floor. The amenities we had in our room was amazing, we had our own tea sets, coffee pods machine, bath robes... bathroom essentials.. etc. Thought the lobby was a bit warm. But not too overpowering. Maybe thats the style here in Siem Reap. We had our experience ar other hotel in siem reap with similar style. Location is not far from pub street and night market. U could walk (7-8mins) or grab a tuk tuk. Use e-hailing Theres a small french cafe just in front of the hotel, they had this delicious curry chicken sandwich.

After searching for a place to stay in Siem Reap, I decided to follow the numerous positive reviews by travellers about the Golden Temple Hotel. Upon being welcomed at the hotel, I had a gut feeling that I had made the right choice but it did not take long for me to realise that not only had I made the right choice, but probably the best choice for a hotel in Siem Reap. I was welcomed by Sophin who delivered me the usual 'welcome drink' one receives when they arrive. But together with the welcome drink came a beatiful platter containing peanuts, sticky rice and fresh fruit. Then Sophin explained that my stat included complimentary vouchers for a lunch or dinner, 1 hour full body massage or foot massage and a 'snack box' to be used during my stay. Sophin explained in very good English an overview of the hotel's amenities, key times and implored me to contact reception if I had any questions/issues about anything. I class my welcome at the hotel as one of the best I have received. The rooms are very well appointed and set out and include everything that you need. They include artwork, great colour scheme and seperate bathroom with one of the best showers I have come across. The swimming pool is a joy to return to and cool off after visiting the local sites. There is a wide selection of food to choose from at the buffet breakfast including great omlettes and soups! As far as location goes, the hotel resides in an area that is centrally located and within walking distance/short tuk-tuk ride to where you may need to get to in Siem Reap. One of the keys to the succes of the Golden Temple Hotel is its staff who are extremely friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. Special call out goes to Richard who is the guest relaions manager at the hotel for leading such a successful team. Putting it simply, the Golden Temple Hotel is the place to stay if you happen to visit Siem Reap.

Okay, we don't know all the other hotels in Siem Reap so we can't really say this one is the very best, but I don't think you'll find a better one at any price. Our room was large, clean and had a great bed - perfect! Staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly. No matter the problem they will help you solve it and do so cheerfully. We were there for 3 1/2 days, and after the first day everyone knew our names and addressed us by name each time. I still can't get over how helpful and intuitive everyone was, and what a difference that made to our experience. Their tour guides and drivers were especially knowledgeable and helpful. We visited many of the temples and waterfalls in and around Siem Reap, and each time we returned to the car to head to the next destination the a/c was on and we were provided a cold towel for our faces and cold water to cool us. That was very helpful, given the heat in SR. We recommend them to everyone! ~ Phil Btw: their restaurant is first class!

We arrived earlier than our check-in time and were immediately escorted to our rooms, which were large and clean. The staff could not do enough for us. We had initially booked 3 nights but stayed for a further 4 nights because we enjoyed it so much! The pool was clean and open until 9.30pm with shower facilities beside the pool. There was a dining area and bar at the pool which was always manned. The hotel itself was a in great location and always quiet. It was a short walk from the centre of Siem Reap and tuck-tuck drivers were always available outside the hotel. If I was to return to Siem Reap I would be booking back into Mekong Angkor Palace, I wouldn't even look at another hotel, it was probably the best place we stayed during our month long trip through Cambodia and Vietnam.

Hands down the best hotel on Siem Reap. Everything was perfect. Our flight got delayed for 3 hours but when we go outside the airport Mr. Phal is still waiting outside holding a sign with my name on it. Then when we're in the car Mr. Phal gave us a cold towel and a cold drink to freshen up. When we arrive at the hotel everyone is so friendly, they won't even let us carry our heavy luggage they just want to carry it themselves. We we're celebrating anniversary with my wife on the day of our arrival and Mr. Ratha arranged everything just like what we talked about over email. We had our dinner at the rooftop of the restaurant. The cake and flowers are perfect also our meal that night. Our room was also decorated romantically with flowers and petals on the bed and the bath tub. My wife really love it. It was so perfect. We're so happy that we choose this hotel over hundreds of hotel in Siem Reap. And we will certainly be back here again next year. See you next year guys thanks again.

From the pick up from the airport my time at King Rock was great. Mr So and his staff were awesome nothing was too hard and they were all so friendly enquiring into how my day was going,if I needed help with anything or if I needed any information on Siem Reap The room was very spacious with everything I needed. The bed was so soft and the pillows were just perfect. The shower was great and the room cleaner did a terrific job Breakfast was a good way to start the day and had everything to get you to lunch I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for your stay in Siem Reap and I will probably be booking in for Christmas this year 👍

Hotel will provide one way free antique limo transport either from the airport to hotel or hotel to the airport. Exterior and interior design are modern with taste. Swimming pool is good size to chill during the day. Staffs are very attentive and friendly. Good location without feeling any hassle & bustle but loads of nice restaurant and eatery nearby. Not far from pub street and night market. You can either walk or take tuk tuk for usd1 to get there. Hotel can also arrange transportation for all the sightseeing spot in reasonable price. Breakfast are moderate with various choices. It was my birthday during my stay, unexpectedly a warm birthday surprise was delivered by the team of hotel staffs which I was so impressed. My husband and I really had a enjoyable stay in Viroth's. Viroth's surely is a hidden gem in Siem Reap. I have no doubt that Viroth's will be my number one choice but not other places on my next visit in Siem Reap! Thanks for Viroth's team took good care of us during our stay. Awesome work!

My friends and I (4 in total) loved this place. New, Clean, friendly staff and great facilities. The swimming pool was such a nice treat as it was sweltering when we visited. The swimming pool are also has a great bbq skewer and beer special during happy hour. Centrally located to everything. We were around the corner from the night market and just a few blocks down the road from pub street and the Day market. I have been to Siem Reap many times and my parents moved back to Battambang after living in the states for 25 years and they love this place too. They didn't even need a map of any kind and still was able to find this place no problem. The highlight of our stay was a random moment. We went to the restaraunt on the second floor for dinner and was ecstatic to see a projector hook up and playing documentaries about Cambodia itself! I was able to re-educate myself about my culture and also my friends and I were able to learn great new things about Cambodia that we never knew! The staff was 10s 10s 10s across the board. Sweet and kind. Always engaging and you can tell they love to speak english. I felt bad sometimes because I would speak Khmer to them only because I was trying to brush up on my own language. Things to keep in mind. Since we were only here for 4 days and packed all the site seeing we could, we were so beat by the time dinner time came around. To our surprise lays a dance bar cross the street from the hotel and that was where our room was facing. Even on the top floor, we could here loud dance music blasting. Don't worry though, it ended at midnight and 1 night it was slow. Luckily we had some sleeping pills so that did the trick. I felt bad for the other guest though lol. Lastly please beware, there are no hallways. Each floor was open and at night time, there are tons of bugs. Just keep some bug spray on you and you should be good. All in all I loved this place and definitely will come back!

I went with my family including my parents, and booked 3 double rooms. The staff at the hotel were kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms to villa for my parents. The service was excellent, staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great as well, just 5 mins walk to pub street/old market. Just 1 minor thing to point out - the sockets in the rooms cannot cater for 3-pin plugs, which is quite unusual. I have stayed in a couple other hotels in Siem Reap and am currently working in Phnom Penh. All such places have 3-pin sockets, and due to such reason, we did not bring any international adapter, thinking that the sockets in this hotel would cater for 3-pin plugs as well. That said, the hotel staff were nice enough to allow us to charge our power banks overnight at the reception desk area, which we greatly appreciate. Thanks again! Overall a great stay and it is definitely value for money.

This hotel was recommended to me by many friends who live in Cambodia, I've been to Siem Reap 8 times and the Golden Banana is the best place that I have stayed - I highly recommend it. We had a slight problem when we arrived (they didn't have our Agoda reservation registered in their system) but they resolved the problem right away and the rest of our stay was great. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the old part of town where the best shops and restaurants are, but is in a quiet area so you can relax. The room was slightly small but the hotel interior and exterior has loads of character, really adding to the experience of being in Siem Reap. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This hotel is amazing in every way. Rooms and pool area is almost perfect. Breakfast is good too. Staff is super nice and their inhouse massage is superb. There are several pet animals roaming around the small hotel, I thought that was quite nice. Now to the few negative things. Location, even if its just like 5min walk into main market/pub area its still a bit secluded. It located like 200meter into an alley/small road where it gets very dark during evening and nighttime. The hotel seems to have problem with their hot water because most of the time the hot water was like medium warm. Felt a bit cold showering. They also have a bathtub in the room but could not use that due to not having enough hot water to fill it. So even if the location is a bit off and the hot water is not always available I still think this is the perfect little place to stay in Siem Reap. I would for sure book it again if I return to Siem Reap.

Clean and tidy hotel to stay In Siem Reap. They also provide free sim and has swimming pool and good breakfast options.

The hotel is truly unique, far above the standard of other places we have stayed in Cambodia. The beautiful antique houses and attention to detail in the rooms and grounds are wonderful. The price for the hotel was a very good value compared to other places we stayed. Our only complaint was that the food could have been better/better priced compared to what we had elsewhere in Siem Reap, and services such as laundry were ridiculously overpriced for Siem Reap. The service from the staff was wonderful and attentive and of very high quality. With slightly better food, Sala Lodges would have been a dream hotel, and even so, we were extremely happy! We will definitely stay again if we come back to Siem Reap.

The staff were amazing! always welcoming and willing to do anything 24 hours a day! the room was amazing.. two small things, there was no shower curtain, meaning water splashed.. no big deal, and there was a small gap between the door and the wall..omg! - no, nothing at all wrong, everything was perfect. had room service a couple of times, was cheaper than going out! the pool was phenomenal, with a waterfall and swim up bar, food was fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is plenty to choose from. so close to everything, with a personal guide to Angkor Wat and surrounds.. (Thank you Mr Thom!) and a short walk to pub street and cinemas (our favourite, only $3 per ticket!!) the absolute best place to stay in Siem Reap!

When I escape Phnom Penh in the direction of Siem Reap my usual ploy is to search the net for the best cut price deal among the large number of 4 and 5 star hotels strung out along National Road 6. While doing so I stumbled across this place on Trip Adviser - rated 23 for hotels in Siem Reap and it had nothing but excellent or very good reviews. OK - I am old enough and wise enough to take what is written on Trip Adviser with a pinch of salt so I had a look at what reviewers on Agoda had to say about it. They agreed - rating 9.2 !! The offer here was too good to refuse - if the place really did rate at 9.2 - so I opted to stay at Silk d' Angkor. I strongly disagree with the 9.2 rating - it should be higher !! I do agree with everything that is written about this place on both review sites. The place is OUTSTANDING in every respect. The place is new (2013) - and it has style and class. The rooms are spacious, bright, light, clean and beautifully appointed. The rest of the place has a sort of old style colonial style of ambiance - non of this gaudy, brash, pretentious nonsense of many modern hotels. The breakfast is good, the internet is good, the pool is good. indeed everything about the place is good with several very exceptionally good attributes : (1) the free ONE way pick up from the airport worked like clockwork. (2) my balcony room had floor to ceiling widows with a fully screened door - screening in Siem Reap hotels is a rarity and being able to let fresh air circulate in my room without the threat of it being invaded by mosquitoes is, for me at least a big, big positive. (3)last but by no means least - the staff her are exceptional - they are professional, proficient and knowledgeable and do everything - and more - to ensure that you enjoy your time at both the hotel and in Siem Reap I enjoyed my stay here so much that after 7 days I extended for another 2 before returning to Phnom Penh.

Cannot say enough about this hotel. Group of three women traveling together. The hotel went out of their way to meet all our needs. Facilities immaculate, room cleaned and water replaced everyday. We left behind some personal items, camera and prescription glasses, management communicated with me, made arrangements to ship them to us in the U.S which we received safe and sound. Again, outstanding value but most importantly the customer service does not have enough stars to rate it. Thank you again, staff of Cyclo Siem Reap Hotel.

This is a fantastic hotel. Very clean. Thick, great condition towels and bedding, great water pressure in the shower and hot water. The location is great with tuktuks outside waiting for customers. 1 minute walk from pub street area. Breakfast is great with great coffee, set in the green relaxing garden. Cold towel and fruit on checkin. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to stay here for my time in Siem Reap, sadly they were fully booked and I could only stay 2 nights. I ended up staying in 4 hotels in Siem Reap, some more expensive than this one. This one was the best by far, hands down. There are generally only a few things that make or break my stay in a hotel. Clean room and bathroom Water pressure in shower Coffee WiFi in room All was superb. I will definately stay at this hotel again next time Im in Siem Reap.

The staff at the hotel are lovely and very helpful:) We stayed in a family room, which was mostly well proportioned, clean and attractive to look at, however there were a few cons. The beds are quite hard (as they are at many hotels in Siem Reap), and the shower just one stream of water (like a tap). We also couldn’t get the water to warm up at all, so had cold showers. The bathroom was quite small, but the size was not an issue for us. There were no curtains or blinds over the glass double doors to the balcony which face immediately into another room, making it difficult to have privacy. Overall it was god value for money and the staff were excellent, however we wouldn’t stay there again.

Fantastic hotel in Siem Reap. Location is close to Pub Street (~10 minute walk) and about 20 minute drive to Angkor Wat. The hotel is clean, modern, and almost has a boutique feel. The staff are very friendly, and prepared to-go breakfast and snacks for day trips to Angkor Wat. There was also a free dinner, massage, and transfer to the airport. The swimming pool is also quite beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Siem Reap!

I could tell by the pictures and list of amenities that this was going to be a nice hotel (which it was), but what put this hotel over the top is the AMAZING customer service! The hotel staff are so kind and friendly, and accommodated any requests we had. I have lived in Cambodia for three years now and I have never encountered such top-tier customer service in any other hotel here. Special shout out to Judy who was our "personal assistant" during our three-night stay. She was extremely helpful and so kind to us. This hotel really makes customer service personal and does everything they can to ensure your stay in Siem Reap is carefree and enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It has a very modern style and is very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, pool was beautiful, and it is within a 10-minute walk from the night market and restaurants. What more could you need in a hotel? This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Siem Reap from now on.

Booked a room for 2days and they ugraded me into suite room for FREE! I changed my dates and they willingly arranged it without questions nor fees. Asked for a tuktuk 3 hours prior to my arrival and they arranged all without delays. This is the best hotel in Siem reap. Peaceful and quiet,5mins to pub street. Everything is just amazing! All the staff are very welcoming and attentive to my needs. They served me like I was a king here. Trust me, you will not regret booking this hotel. To Mr. Roth and all the staff, thank you so much! This luxury hotel is affordable, located in the center (close to the city AND the Angkor temples complex) and has the best hospitality staff in Cambodia. For $3, you can get your laundry done hassle-free. The pool is amazing and we had a hot tub on our private balcony. Room service breakfast is delivered - overall quality of the food and drinks is very nice ($8 and up). Towels and room cleaning done daily for free. Staff showed awesome hospitality! The only downside was the internet which was very, very slow. Cambana really deserves its high ratings and it quickly became (and remains) our favorite hotel in Cambodia. We will book here every time for Siem Reap!

I had a wonderdul 3 nights stay in this hotel. You all made an excellent team of staff: From Airport pick-up and drop off (Mr Soksinart, my tuktuk driver during my entire stay in Siem Reap), alll the receptionist staff ( especially Mr Panha- who is very knowledgeable and attentive in giving me recommendations such as nearby cafes and restaurants, activities and yoga classes. ) Kitchen staff ( i tried remembering their names but I was too overwhelmed how courteous they all were as well as very accommodating to my needs. Food served were all tasty! ) Thank you so much for building a comfortable home in Siem Reap. Keep it up! I also would like to suggest that you eliminate the potential breeding places for mosquitoes in your places such as the stagnant water at the back of my room. Overall, you all still did a great job in making it a homey and safe place to stay.

Lush greenery surrounds the hotel and within the hotel compound next to its swimming pool. Attractive interior lightning is cost-saving. All the staff are very friendly and helpful to me. They address my queries quickly on emails. Join their free return airport transfers and free quick city transfers and travel. A round trip to its nearest tourist destination Siem Reap War Museum is free. The hotel sells tour packages to Angkor Wat, Tonle Sap Lake, Siem Reap Royal Palace and Wat Preah Prohm Rath. Complimentary fruits are available in the rooms. Its restaurant serves organic food and Elysium burgers. I will stay here again if I am in transit in Siem Reap or wish to explore the city again.

They helped us to plan whole schedule based on our requirements while we were in Siem Reap. It was a great experience and sucessful moments in Siem Reap. Besides that, the manager is a multilingual speaker who knows to speak in mandarin, english and japanese as well.
