Sabara Angkor Resort & Spa
Kruos,Siem Reap - View on map
"Firstly, the staff at Sabara are amazing, so courteous, friendly and they couldn't do enough for you. This is one thing you will find with Cambodian people and Sabara is a perfect example of this. The hotel itself is very nicely presented with a great pool which gets the sun all day if you want to take a day or two out relaxing. The food is amazing! and about as good as you can get as a tourist, I've stayed in other much larger 5 star hotels in Siem Reap and the food at them doesn't compare to the quality at Sabara. The hotel is very new and the last few rooms were getting finished off but to be honest that made my stay more enjoyable as most of the time I had the pool to myself which I enjoyed very much. The beds are extremely comfortable and the best I've slept on in S.E Asia. It's a little outside of the main Pub Street and Old Market area (10-15min) but the hotel put on a free return tuk-tuk service whenever you want to go to the centre. Thank you Sabara - I will be back!"

Templation Hotel
Angkor National Park,Siem Reap - View on map
"It was our first time visiting Cambodia and we heard about the Templation Hotel from a friend. The entire experience was everything as advertised and more. The location was fantastic, close enough to downtown Siem Reap to get there by a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride, but quiet enough that within the hotel grounds you would think you were in the middle of the jungle. The room was comfortable (we stayed in a poolside villa with extra bed) and the outdoor bathroom/shower was a nice feature. The pool was probably the nicest hotel pool I have ever used, and the restaurant food was delicious (especially breakfast). That said the best part of the experience however was the staff, who collectively were very attentive to our needs and extremely helpful in not only the logistics of our stay but providing great recommendations for things to do in the area. Definitely would stay there again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap."

Angkor Pearl Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"Angkor Pearl A Pearl at Siem Reap Angkor pearl hotel surpassed our expectations. It was located in a quiet street but very near the main road and 7-10 mins walk to pub street and night market. Everything is within 5mins walking distance (bank, Lucky mall, KFC, spas), but the street is not too busy and noisy. They dont have a lift so those with problems going up stairs should stay on the ground floor but the staff are there to help you with your bags. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable and furnishings consistent with its old khmer motif. You get a welcome drink, a fruit plate in the room, complete toiletries, fresh smelling towels, compli bottled water, coffee and tea and a pair of rubber slippers. There was a ref, TV with cable and the AC worked fine. There's wifi and 3 computers at the lobby. The bathroom was clean although a little old. the bath tub had scratch marks and the shower curtain should be changed. Unfortunately there was a construction ongoing at the building beside the hotel that you could hear the metal works during the day. The staffs were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was impressive for the price we paid with soup, bread, butter, jams, eggs, rice, pancakes, several main courses, fruits and flowing juice, tea and coffee. they changed the main course every day. They have their own tuktuk and a car with driver that you can hire. I think the best asset of this hotel is their resident driver Sam. He was very nice and very fluent in English. He picked us up from the airport with his camry, brought us to the hotel and took us to pub street. The next day, he took us on a tour to all the temples with free ice cold water and towels in his car, then he took us to a restaurant for lunch, brought us to a dinner place and back to the hotel after dinner all for $25 for 5 persons! He even arranged for our taxi to Phnom penh and reserved our bus ticket from PP to Ho chi minh. The best cambodian i ever met at a great hotel in siem reap."

FCC Angkor by Avani
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the FCC hotel in Siem Reap. It was our first trip to Cambodia, and the hotel had been recommended to us by a friend. The hotel is very well located. After seeing where other hotels were located that I had looked at online, we were glad to have chosen the FCC, since it is within walking distance of the old town market and Pub street. All of the hotel's personnel were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, as well as the other meals (several lunches and one dinner) we had at the FCC's restaurant. We also liked the hotel's architecture and design - low key but stylish. If we were to take another trip to Siem Reap, we would choose the FCC again."

Apsara Residence Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"I went with my family including my parents, and booked 3 double rooms. The staff at the hotel were kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms to villa for my parents. The service was excellent, staff were very very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean. The location was great as well, just 5 mins walk to pub street/old market. Just 1 minor thing to point out - the sockets in the rooms cannot cater for 3-pin plugs, which is quite unusual. I have stayed in a couple other hotels in Siem Reap and am currently working in Phnom Penh. All such places have 3-pin sockets, and due to such reason, we did not bring any international adapter, thinking that the sockets in this hotel would cater for 3-pin plugs as well. That said, the hotel staff were nice enough to allow us to charge our power banks overnight at the reception desk area, which we greatly appreciate. Thanks again! Overall a great stay and it is definitely value for money."

Primefold Hotel
Sala Kamreuk,Siem Reap - View on map
"I could tell by the pictures and list of amenities that this was going to be a nice hotel (which it was), but what put this hotel over the top is the AMAZING customer service! The hotel staff are so kind and friendly, and accommodated any requests we had. I have lived in Cambodia for three years now and I have never encountered such top-tier customer service in any other hotel here. Special shout out to Judy who was our "personal assistant" during our three-night stay. She was extremely helpful and so kind to us. This hotel really makes customer service personal and does everything they can to ensure your stay in Siem Reap is carefree and enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It has a very modern style and is very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent, pool was beautiful, and it is within a 10-minute walk from the night market and restaurants. What more could you need in a hotel? This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Siem Reap from now on. "

Cheathata CTS Hotel Siem Reap
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"My favorite hotel in Siem Reap! Although the street in front of it needs some fixing (terrible on rainy nights), the hotel itself is lovely. Loved my room that I ended up booking 3 nights! Was supposed to book another night but the price suddenly went high. Lol. The room that i booked is spacious and clean. I loved my big, comfy, clean bed; the new and spacious bathroom; the bathrobes (I have a thing for soft comfy ones); the shiny clean wooden floors, and even though it’s right in the center, I didn’t hear any noise during my stay unlike in the other hotels I stayed at. Staff was helpful and friendly too. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Only downside is their terrible breakfast choices. Was supposed to have one in their restaurant until I went around and saw the food lol but this hotel is amazing if you plan to just walk around. It’s a skip and a hop to the night market and pub street. Will most likely stay here again when I come back :)"

Sarai Resort and Spa
Sala Kamreuk,Siem Reap - View on map
"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Sarai. We booked through AGODA because i read their good reviews. I am glad to write that all the good reviews are true. Our booking with agoda did not include airport pick up. I tried to contact the hotel because we will be arriving late at night. They replied immediately that they wikk pick us up at no charge. Philip was there with our name on a board and a van waiting for us. There was cold water and cold towel. The hotel was about 30 minutes away. On our way, Philip asked for my booking details and check us in through his tablet. So when we got to the hotel, the front desk asked for a copy of our passports and after signing was given the key to our room. The room was big. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. There were toiletries, hair dryer, robes and tub. Breakfast was a selection of western and asian. Plus bread, fruits and yogurt, and your choice of coffee or fruit juice. The staff were all polite and gracious all the time. Whether its early morning, mid day or late at night. Every thing is one tuktuk away at $2. Mr vanna , tuktuk #5 was very helpful. Dont bother changing your money at the airport can pay in $ in Siem Reap. Special mention to Ziffan from the front desk who did not tire of our questions on where to eat and go. Oh tickets tothe national museum is available at the hotel with free pick up. Sokunthea of the goat tree restaurant majes good drip coffee. And to Philip. Thanks guys for making our siem reap vacation a wonderful experience. Angkor wat was magnificent!"

Viroth's Hotel
Siem Reap Central Area,Siem Reap - View on map
"Hotel will provide one way free antique limo transport either from the airport to hotel or hotel to the airport. Exterior and interior design are modern with taste. Swimming pool is good size to chill during the day. Staffs are very attentive and friendly. Good location without feeling any hassle & bustle but loads of nice restaurant and eatery nearby. Not far from pub street and night market. You can either walk or take tuk tuk for usd1 to get there. Hotel can also arrange transportation for all the sightseeing spot in reasonable price. Breakfast are moderate with various choices. It was my birthday during my stay, unexpectedly a warm birthday surprise was delivered by the team of hotel staffs which I was so impressed. My husband and I really had a enjoyable stay in Viroth's. Viroth's surely is a hidden gem in Siem Reap. I have no doubt that Viroth's will be my number one choice but not other places on my next visit in Siem Reap! Thanks for Viroth's team took good care of us during our stay. Awesome work!"

More about Siem Reap

Siem Reap is one of Southeast Asia’s friendliest tourist cities. Located north of Tonle Sap Lake in western Cambodia, this city attracts numerous travelers with its budget accommodation and ancient temple sites renowned throughout the world.

The Angkor Archaeological Park is the city’s biggest draw. Its centerpiece is Angkor Wat, and also included is Angkor Thom and Pre Rup, a crumbling 10th century Khmer temple. Covering hundreds of square kilometers, this site will surely keep many visitors busy for days. In between visits to these ancient sites, Pub Street provides excellent mingling and dining opportunities. Regional treats such as snake and frog can be sampled in a karaoke joint or a classy Khmer restaurant. Eco-tours are also popular in the area and make for great tropical excursions. Visitors can take a peek into the city’s past as well at the sobering land mine museum. Markets open throughout the day and night provide some excellent local shopping opportunities.

International flights to Siem Reap land at Siem Reap International Airport, a 15-minute drive from the center of town. Hotels along Siem Reap Airport Road have the fastest access to the airport and are still convenient to the town center and Angkor Wat.
