Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport
Sydney Airport,Sydney - View on map
"The Travelodge Hotel Sydney Airport is a lovely hotel that offers everything you need for a short or long term stay. I stayed overnight before flying overseas. The hotel offers a 24hr room service which was fantastic for my late check in. The food was great at a reasonable price and they also offer a shuttle bus service to both the Domestic and International Airport at a reasonable price of $8.00 aud. This took the stress from hailing down a taxi in the early hours of the morning. I was informed by the taxi driver who had dropped me off at the hotel that booking a taxi for a morning pickup would be useless as taxi's will refuse to take the job because of the short distance between the hotel and both airports. Hence, why the shuttle bus is such an asset for the hotel. I recommend the Sydney Travelodge Airport Hotel and will be staying here again in the future."

"We just needed a bed before an early flight and this was great - I was concerned it would be a bit shabby and dodgy but it was fine, everything was new and clean. We found the T3 parking was cheaper over the length of time we were away so we just parked there and walked over. Easy walk to terminal from hotel, no roads to cross. Room had enough room for two small carryons and us, probably would fit larger suitcases too. Front desk staff were very helpful even though they were very busy. Bit of a walk up to Mascot main street for food (nearby options are all fast food) but I'm sure you could get delivery. Nothing really negative - basic towels, no handtowels or facecloth, and there's only blackout blinds or nothing but these are minor. Unlike most hotels in Australia, I found this good value. "

"Never had a room that could just fit a bed, and still have a shower tucked in the corner closed off by a black curtain. Tiny... The hotel is close to the airport - and is cheap. The restaurant attached to the hotel does some great food! Maybe look at a bigger room if your going to take this one..."

Travelodge Hotel Sydney

"Travelodge Sydney Hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Sydney, returning visitors and the like. It's easily accessible location ( from the airport) and closeness to everything makes it the perfect hotel. Trains were only a few minutes walk away (Museum Station), buses, monorail and light rail were also within short walking distance. Rooms were adequately sized and well equipped, they also included Foxtel channels. The hotel is very close to Chinatown, World Square and Paddy's Markets/Market City so it makes it very easy to find something to eat or a place to shop. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Sydney Hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I returned to Sydney!"

"I would certainly stay at this hotel again. Great location near the CBD Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful - available on hand 24 hours a day. Rooms were tidy and clean - boutique. Breakfast was included and good value. A mixture of clientelle - old and young. Internet facilities - however there is an internet shop close by. Approximately 20 mins by train from airport and 5 mins from the Museum Station (ok for backpackers, not suitcases as no lift) however airshuttle is good value at 14 AUD. Stay there - thanks Agoda and Y Sydney Hotel "

Megaboom City Hotel

"It was my first time to be in Sydney CBD. Above all the places where to stay (as seen in Agoda Booking Site), this hotel has caught my attention. I have seen a number of good reviews and those were validated as I stayed there for a week. The place is near to the shopping malls and tourist spots like Sydney Opera House and many more. Also, close to number of transport systems like Light Rail (tram), metro trains, ferry and bus. I have a pleasant stay in this hotel because the staffs were accomodating. Those stationed in lobby were chinese but they are good in communicating English. For little improvement, for facilities (4/5) wifi connections should be fixed because when evening comes, connections were unstable (for some reasons). I like everything. When given a chance, I will be staying here again. 很好👌👍🏽!"

Meriton Suites Sussex Street

"From the time I checked in on Friday to my departure the following Monday, my stay was exceptional. Staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. I had a few requests and their guest service department was very efficient and accommodating. The one bedroom apartment was clean, very modern, well equipped, light, airy and spacious, having a lovely view of Darling Harbour. The shower and bathroom were a good size and the king size bed and pillows were very comfortable and luxurious. The coffee machine was a real treat and the kitchenette was well designed with ample bench space and quality appliances and fixtures. I'm looking forward to spending more time at Meriton Suites Sussex St on my next trip to Sydney. Can't wait! "

Central Private Hotel

"The hotel was operated by some Korean staff but they speak good english. They are very friendly and helpful as well. I stayed in Double Ensuite the bathroom is quite small just enough showering. Very fast free WIFI, probably the best for all the hotels I stayed. Location-wise it is very near to Sydney central station, so quite easy to go anywhere in Sydney including the airport, CBD, all the attractions. At this location the rate is quite affordable. And just after 5 min walking across the tunnel under central station you get to the railway square where you can get the free Sydney CBD bus 555, which is superb for city tours and it transport you right to circular quay. "My stay was good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are nice and the hotel is in great shape. Can't beat the location on Darling Habor (highly recommend a room with a harbor view). My only down comment applies to all hotels in Sydney and Australia - the price of breakfast (AU$30 for continental and AU$35 for full) is outrageously expensive."

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport Hotel & Conference Centre

"The room was very big and so was the bed, very comfortable. The bathroom was so big you could have a party in it, so we did. There was a phone by the toilet so you didn't miss a call. Talk about a conference call. The exercise room was well equipped with a very nice swimming pool and deck to lounge on. Be sure to call ahead for an airport pick up, just $6 bucks a head and can be added to your room bill so no need of cash when you land. Some cash might be handy though to tip your porter when getting to your room. Canadians tip you know. The taxi ride was $20 for the two of us so the hotel transport is cheaper. No hotel in Sydney has free pick up that I found. When there, have the seafood buffet in the dinning room, it was fresh, a great value and the deserts could be made into its own meal. Yummy. That's why the gym upstairs is so well equip, you'll need it. Grate value, will stay again the next time through Sydney after a long flight or waiting for our next day early flight home. Minutes from the airport. "

More about Sydney

As the capital of New South Wales, Sydney is the largest and most cosmopolitan city of Australia. Several large metropolitan areas and a wide network of trains and buses cater to the city. Sydney Airport is the gateway for the majority of visitors, and Green Square station can be used to access the city.

The city of Sydney is host to many famous landmarks, none more so than the iconic Sydney Opera House. The opera house as well as the Sydney Harbour Bridge are both situated on Circular Quay, a hub of activity and the location of the city’s ferry terminal. Beaches are also a popular draw, including the likes of Bondi Beach. Bondi’s Campbell Parade is a busy area both day and night, and shops, cafes, and bars line the beachfront.

Shopping areas of the city are readily available. Exclusive boutiques can be spotted on Oxford Street in Paddington, and Pitt Street is home to the luxury brands and department stores. Sydney is also very pedestrian friendly. The city’s friendly weather and wide footpaths encourage exploration of the city, and with all it has to offer, visitors find it hard to decline.
