This layback town can be easily reach by bus or taxi from Bidor or Ipoh. There is not much to do after 9 pm.
Suitable for tourist seeking relaxation.
Teluk Intan is a small town with more oldfolks than youngsters as all the younger generation have shifted out to Kuala Lumpur or Penang to work.
It is a nice peaceful place to rest and to taste good olden days food. Oldfolks there knows where to get good local coffee so go to a coffee shop where you see many old folks chit chatting and hanging around.
This is very different from KL. Nice hawker restaurants were almost everywhere. People were very accommodating.
Its a very laid back small town. Can offer you a pleasant stay if you know where to go for food and other services.
It's a typical small city in Perak where you can get a feel of how outskirts small cities are like. It is famous for rice noodle "chee cheong fun with shrimps"
Visit the clock tower, good for photo takings. Must try the 'chee cheong fun', the best I've ever eaten.
Business starts in the evening at a shop lot, be ready to queue up and wait. Fresh sea good and value for money.
