Senator Parque Central Hotel
Eixample,Valencia - View on map
"Very clean hotel, good breakfast. Easy to get taxi. English speaking staff at front desk. Only thing I would say they couldn't bring us water in the middle of the night as they said they didn't have this service. This was very inconvenient as we had two little ones in the room with us. Unable to adjust heating mode from heating to aircon mode as they told us the system was on one mode for the entire hotel due the specific season which again was inconvenient as we had to open the massive windows while on the 7th floor with two little ones running around which was onerving. Hotel Eurostars Rey Don Jaime
Camins al Grau,Valencia - View on map
"The location is great. We walked to pretty much all the places. We only took a bus between train station and the hotel when carrying luggage. We had the most economic room which is small and no view what so ever. But all the view to the green space has been pretty much blocked from the hotel so we didn't miss the view considering how little we paid for the room and we spent most of time outside. The bed is full size but it's ok for us. You need to get hot water from the bar. There is a big Carrefour about 10 min walk away. Even better we found there is an ALDI just a few doors down so no need to walk to Carrefour."

Hotel Catalonia Excelsior
Ciutat Vella (City Center),Valencia - View on map
"The Catalonia hotels we stayed in in both Barcelona and Valencia were about the best accommodation we had whilst travelling through Spain. The locations were good, the rooms clean and overall the service was good. Adequate English TV channels with large TVs made it easy to relax after long days. Fridge did not have a freezer compartment, however, when asked ice was made available. Only poor point was that other guests must have smoked in the rooms before us as there was a smoky odour coming through the airconditioner. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Generally good value for money and recommended. "

Melia Plaza Valencia
Ciutat Vella (City Center),Valencia - View on map
"The hotel is in the very centre of Valencia, which is a plus. Yet, the room was tiny. Nothing to complain: good wi-fi, friendly staff, etc. Just, you cannot stay in the room without suffering claustrophobia. Perfect if you are on holiday. Very small gym, as well."

Traveler impressions of Valencia

More about Valencia

Valencia is home to historic neighborhoods and luxurious beachfront resorts, all set against a backdrop of the stunning Mediterranean Sea. Founded by the Romans and later ruled by the Moors for several centuries, Valencia’s architecture tells a vivid tale of the country’s splendid past. The influences of this history are very evident in the art, architecture, and cuisine of Valencia – something that makes this city a great choice for travelers looking for a great European vacation without going all over the map. The city is served by Valencia Airport, which is located just a few kilometers form the city center and well connected by public transportation.

Most of Valencia’s resorts can be found along the waterfront, away from the city center. The beaches of the Mediterranean are no doubt a favorite among travelers, and Valencia’s beaches such as Malvarrosa Beach are a great way to enjoy the sunshine and crystal clear waters of the sea. While the historic city center is the favorite among sightseers and history buffs, the rest of Valencia’s city center is a great testament to the city’s modern architecture as well. Places like the The City of Arts and Sciences are a great way to experience the growth that Valencia continues to see as a world-class city. Along with being the birthplace of the Spanish favorite dish of Paella, Valencia is also home to the annual Fallas Festival, which is held every March and makes this an exciting time to visit Valencia.

There’s a lot more to see and do in Valencia, and the best way to discover what else this city has to offer in terms of attractions, landmarks, and hotels is by exploring the interactive map on this page.
