Best hotels & accommodations in Winton (QLD)

North Gregory Hotel in Winton - Gregory was an explorer in the gov't admin area became known as "Gregory". One of the receptionists loves the poem "Invictus" which most of us have heard but don't recognize. Very family-friendly. Meals in the outdoors "Beer Garden" are great.

I stayed in Steadman Cottage which was tastefully decorated and really comfortable and cozy. Location was within walking distance to town. WiFi connection was a bit sketchy, and Winton visitors be warned.. no mobile phone reception unless you're with Telstra. Otherwise, really lovely place to stay, with a warm welcome from Lisa.

Perfect in every way. An air conditioned, 2 bedroom delightful cottage, within walking distance of the main street. Beautifully decorated with large lounge room, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and even a entry\reading nook. BBQ and outdoor setting and a friendly host, Lisa. Dont miss this accommodation if you are in Winton.
