It is my 2nd stay in this hotel. This hotel is very clean, staffs are very kind and efficient. Very satisfied with service of this new hotel in Xian.

This is the best hotel in xian, it has English speaker that not that much xian ppl can speak English and for for the location is near by downtown which has a lot of good stuff around there. Then for the service is excellent. I would like to recommend this hotel if you would like to stay in xian.

I loved this hotel as it was in a good location and the room was wonderful. I slept so well as the bed was very comfortable and the rooms are so quiet. The bathroom was so nice if I was to remodel my bathroom I would copy their design as they utilize the space very well and it is so nice. There is a glass panel that separates the bedroom from the bathroom and if you want privacy you push a button and the shade goes down. The rain shower was awesome as I took several showers because I liked it so much. The room was very modern and had all the amenities I needed so I was very happy. The staff were very accommodating as they helped me book a private car and driver so I could go to the Terracotta Warrior exhibit. Ivy was very helpful and speaks good English. I really felt that most of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room safe is excellent as I felt my stuff was secure. The only concern I had was I came back to my hotel room and my door was unlocked. Nothing was stolen, but still concerning. The issue was the room did not always lock after the maid was in the room. For whatever reason when she swiped her card to open the room the door did not lock afterwards. In the morning I showed the maid this and she made sure to swipe her card again to lock the room so no more problems after that so you just need to double check your door. Make sure before you leave the room that you plan out your destinations and either know what buses you are taking or have the addresses in Chinese. Cabs are plentiful but they are picky about where they take you so be prepared. I was not prepared and walked a lot. Overall, Xian was nice and I would stay at the Hilton Xian again as it is an excellent hotel. Make sure to check out the food vendors across the street as they open about 10 pm and the street is transformed into one big outdoor late night restaurant.

The hotel is out of the way from the major attractions and far from the subway and restaurants. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom beautiful, spacious apartment. The concierge Shi Yada was seriously the best hotel employee that I Have ever had the pleasure of Dealing with. Helpful, smart, witty and spoke perfect English, which for us was a huge bonus. I would go back to this hotel for him alone. The restaurant was so so and over priced. The gym was excellent. The view from our room was spectacular. All and all, a wonderful experience.

This hotel is located 150m from the Xian Station forecourt, where buses for Mt. Hua (60cny return)and the Terracotta Warriors (bus no's 306 or 915, fare 7-8cny each way) leave from. The long distance bus station, Mr Lee(very clean and cheap Chinese eatery), KFC and Mc Donalds is 100m away and Mc Café is over the road. Next door is a 24 hr Chinese eatery, very clean and well priced. The hotel room was large and roomy. All room facilities worked and staff were very helpful. As with most hotels we have stayed in China the staff spoke some English. Pros for this hotel location, clean, roomy. Cons none. If we returned to Xian we would stay at this hotel again.

Top class hotel in XiAn. Though it is sligltly out side the main city location, but around 10 mins walk you should be able to reach the city location and some of the main attractions. Many good restaurants within the hotel. Well equipped Gym and other facilities like Spa, hair saloon, travel agency and other shops within the hotel. Hotel room is outstanding and staff are friendly. I will come back to the same hotel in my next visit in XiAn, properly next year.

From xian yang airport take shuttle bus to xian city 25 yuan/person , last bus stop at xian hotel then take bus no.603 about 2 bus stops take off at South gate , walk a few minutes.

Great hotel but further from the heart of the city. Need to take taxi to places of interest.

One thing which strikes us most during this stay in Novotel Xinqiao was the exceptional service from the staff at the concierge desk. Two male staff, particularly Lee, helped us a great lot in booking a tour in China. When we approached them, they even went to the extend of using their own phones and accounts to help us, ensuring we are able to book the tour as we did not have a local number. The tour was in Xian, although we were in Beijing at that time, he didn't mind helping us. We eventually manage to and we are very thankful, because Lee left his contact number despite the hassle and trouble, and he trusted us. He even ask us after we left the hotel in Beijing if everything went well, and even helped us contact the tour agency just to ensure everything went well. Thank you, Lee. We appreciate the warmth and help you've given us. Please commend and reward this staff!!!! Thank u so so so so much! :)))

We were super lucky to stay at the Angsana just three days after the Hot Spring Opened. Aside from the wonderful experience at over 25 indoor and garden hot pools each with vegetation screens around, we were super overwhelmed by the service! We were treated one-on-one, whenever we enter a pool, one staff will come over to refill warm drinking water. Whenever we leave a pool to another, a staff would come over to cover us with towels. The staff would also locate guests to different hot springs tubs so that you won’t share a tub with strangers! Anyways, nature + hot spring + Cold local temperature + quality service = heaven! Rooms were new, contemporary/ resort like and very well maintained. Downside was that the hotel only offer 2 restaurants. We had dinner twice in the Chinese Restaurant was good, and the waitresses 胡小風and 游洁 were both very polite, attentive and gave good recommendations in dishes. One more thing is that we discovered that we have left a wallet inside the safe after we left, Ms. Wu - the reception Manager and Mr. Gary of the security department managed to gave us helpful hands in finding and collecting it back from the hotel. Big Big Thanks to them both! Angsana was definitely a must go place if you are visiting the Terracotta Warriors since it’s only 1/2 hour drive from the hotel and 1 hour drive from the airport. If time allow, I suggest those who visit Xian to stay 1 or 2 nights here then spend 2 nights at a hotel in Xian City centre (1 hour drive from Angsana).

I had a wonderful stay at the Gran Melia Xian Hotel. To my surprise I received an upgrade to the "Red Level" floor which comes along with beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, extraordinary service by the staff (I would like to point out the literally stellar service of Stella) and many exclusive amenities. Xi'an is a must-see and the Gran Melia hotel is the place to stay...

The accommodation in the Bell Tower Hotel in Xian was exceptional. The rooms were a good size, clean and well serviced. The room was air conditioned, tea and coffee facilities were provided, and it had a balcony which overlooked the “Bell Tower”, which is a famous Tourist Spot.The staff were obliging, able to assist with questions about the area, as they could speak English. Would not hesitate to go back to that hotel again, and would recommend to anyone.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff, the room, the location was everything I had hoped for. This is the only hotel I have stayed at in China that gives everything for free. Everything in the mini bar were for free ie: chocolates, biscuits, fruits, milk, water, softdrinks. Complimentary use of washing machines. The best part is the free afternoon tea with a nice selection of mini bites. The hotel is very modern and beaitiful, the rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location cannot be beaten. Walking distance to the city wall, drum and bell towers and muslim street and lots of restaurants nearby. I would definitely 100% recommend this hotel in Xian. Would love to stay again.

You will be very satisfied in this hotel if you want to stay in the very heart of the city in fact in the center for budget calculation. The rooms are nice, far from the luxury, but it was fine. To eat is much better outside in the malls surrounded the hotel. Be carefull at the Central Bus Station if you go to the terracotta armee, there are a lot of fake bus and taxis! There is not a frigidere in this four star hotel in Xian. Their breackfast is a bad joke.

The hotel is not located along the main road, so will require guests to walk down the smaller road to access it. Overall, we are very satisfied with the hotel because of the exceptional service rendered here. Hotel staff are very courteous and prompt in providing assistance and follow-ups. Users of computers with heavy security features (e.g. company laptops) may have difficulties accessing the free Internet connection at this hotel. I was able to surf for 15 minutes before the system logged me out. When an IT technician was sent to my room, I was told that the connection would work if I disabled all the security features on my PC (e.g. Nortan Anti-Virus, etc), which I was not able to do so on a company laptop. Nonetheless, kudos to the hotel for offering to provide me with free internet access in their Business Centre. It was a very nice gesture. The IT staff was also very friendly - offering advise on places to visit, what to do/eat, and how best to bargain when making purchases in Xi'An. There may be a no tipping policy here as he apologetically declined to accept a tip when he left.

We just arrived xian at midnight the airport was less people and most of store has been closed. The location is 2nd floor from the gate of arrival, please find the elevator to up. The staff is very good, even he gave us the swèet room , instead of deluxe type.. it was very nice room, big, made us very comfort time, since we are leaving the hotel morning to xian downtown In my opinion if you arrive at airport at night, please find out hotel inside the airport for safety and avoid to talk to stranger which offering you something

The staff were all courteous and friendly. They can speak English and are very helpful. I have stayed in other Westin Hotel, but Xian Westin has this different positive vibes, the moment you step in, you feel Welcome.

This hotel is centrally located in a former government building built with Soviet assistance in 1953. It is flanked by a 'regular' Sofitel on each side and a Mercure and Grand Mercure behind. It was amazing to find architecture like that in Xian, and it was refurbished beautifully. A really exceptional facility. It was opened in Sept. 2014, so was still very new at the time I stayed there. The key staff were impeccably well trained. The 'butler' service is amazingly good. They handle everything. Computer wouldn't connect...no problem. The Italian dining was excellent, even for Shanghai, never mind a 2nd tier city like Xian. The rooms are well appointed, not small but not huge either (luxury king room). My only disappointment was the breakfast. The buffet was something I'd expect from a 3-star hotel. The selection was a bit meager, fruits only local and of average quality. The congee was luke-warm, wontons over cooked, other Chinese items were made outside and warmed up in back (and tasted like it). I could not get a proper omelette (everything on the side?), the Eggs Benedict was over cooked and improperly made. The coffee, bread, and pastries were all first rate. Everything else points to them working out the kinks. My overall impression was of a unique and delightful experience.

Great location at a fantastic price, this well located hotel is perfect for a stay in Xian. Hotel staff are particulary good, great size rooms and good breakfast. Customer Services Manager was on hand to sort out any day trip etc

Although location might not be the best but the hotel staff service was excellent ! Very helpful in trying to help us resolve matters with the local cab company when my sister left her phone in the cab. Did not expect to be able to retrieve the same but attitude of the hotel staff made the incident much bearable. There was a game room with Daytona, basketball, snooker which were a pleasant surprise and helped us while our time since it was raining 3 days out of 5 days we were in Xi An. Great job to the hotel management.

This hotel is seconds away from the main square in Xian so provides excellent access for the bell tower, drum tower and the city wall. Hotel was clean, room was spacious and the reception had English speaking staff. My only minor complaint is when we asked for a taxi to be booked, the reception said they couldn't do this. No idea why as every other hotel we stayed at in China had no problem calling a local taxi firm to reserve us a taxi.

Stayed here for one saturday night on a weekend break in Xi'an. The staff were really helpful and attentive. We had a Club Room so you expect a little luxury and i wasn't dissapointed, the room was massive and immaculate. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, this is not the hotel to choose if you are on a diet. The only downer is the location. Tt's too far to walk from the city centre, especially when it's 40 degrees, which means you are forced to walk to the Metro (10 minutes away) and at night you have to use taxis, and taxi drivers in Xi'an are the most obnoxious people i have met in China.

It's a new hotel. Location is at the outskirt of the city, some taxi drivers are not familiar with the location. But the surrounding is new and very clean and quiet.

The room of the hotel is very nice , clean and wonderful. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel. Thestaffs of the hotel are very kind and nice. If you come to Xian, I recommend this hotel to you.

very friendly staff, with good size rooms and nice restaurant. undoubtedly the best thing about the hotel is its location just outside the one of the main gates to xian and within walking distance of several of the major attraction. i would be happy to stay there on another visit.

I travelled with family composing of elderly person and young children. My family are happy with hotel room, facilities and location. Value for your money. Easy access to Ancient wall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower. Closed to MRT Bell tower and MRT Yongningmen. There are 2 very nice hotpot restaurants near hotel.

I had absolutely the best experience at this hotel. Couldn’t fault it. After getting off a long 13 hour train ride I was ready for a nice room and it didn’t disappoint. Great large comfortable room with big open bathroom. The service was also outstanding. The girls behind the desk were more than helpful. All of them. Also hotel is situated in a great part of town near the walls. 10/10

For sure I will book this hotel again next time when I travel to Xi'an. The view is amazing!
