Easy access to public transport which is bus. The facilities are really good. The room and shared facilities are clean. The only concern is we couldnt find nearest groceries shop or restaurant. Probably we just stayed there just for a night and didnt manage to explore nearby

Our flight arrived at 6:30am, it was cold and dark and we took the train from the airport. Once we arrived at the main station we followed the walking directions to the hotel and arrived within 10minutes. I didn't get the girls name at reception but she was super helpful.she let us put our luggage in the locked luggage room while we went out to get some breakfast as check-in isn't until 2pm . She went out of her way to organise a room for us as soon as possible, the city had a power outage for approx 45mins and when we returned around 9:30am She had arranged a room for us and continued to be really helpful and a delight to deal with. The room was warm, bed was comfortable, the bathrooms are recently renovated And clean. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family. When searching for hotels in Zurich keep in mind that everything is quiet expensive by Australian standards. For the price we paid, the location couldn't be better, the hotel rating is spot on, most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful. We loved the croissants and cheeses. Highly recommend!

A bit far from the center, but access is totally easy. Tram is only a few steps away from the hotel, it gets you to the city in around 30 minutes (tram 10). Please note that you need to arrange your journey accordingly. Though ticket machine is available everywhere even in the tram stop outside the hotel, zoning in Zurich is pretty confusing. It can really cost you lots of money. And because this hotel is located in zone 121 (airport), I suggest you to go to tourist information in Zurich HB (if you arrive by train) and ask for 2 zones ticket (110-city and 121). They will charge you only around 13 chf. I didn't manage to see this option in the machine tho :( Airport is only 3 minutes away (tram 10/tram 12). From the airport it will stop in Glattbrug to the hotel, but you can stay to continue your journey to the city. From the Zurich HB, you can also take tram 10 from the Center. Room is apt, efficient, comfortable, and affordable. Staff (reception) is very welcoming and friendly

We stayed only one night. When checking in, the hotel staff was very kind and friendly. They have a map and the staff was very knowledgeable when we asked locations and where to go in town. Although the hotel elevator is tiny, they have one. When we arrived at the shared bathroom room I reserved, I was surprised to see a sink available in the room, which was very convenient. The hotel has a cold breakfast buffet that we did not have time to use (since we were flying out the next morning) but it looked nice. Location is about a 15minute walk from the main city area and lake but very easy to get to. (Ask for a map at reception.) It's worth the walk for the great value rooms, and since it was beautiful to walk around and explore. There is a train station called Zurich- wiedikon station which was a close 3-5minute walk, that goes strait to Zurich HB station, where you can transfer to another train that goes to Zurich Flughafen station a.k.a Zurich airport. Very easy and convenient. All and all, we had a great stay in Zurich touring the lake, city area, and old town.

We were hesitant to book this place as it didn't look that appealing in photos. We were pleasantly surprised that the suite had 2 large bedrooms, separate shower/bathroom and small kitchenette. Getting to the train station/main city centre was relatively easy. Just catch the tram which is very close by. Zurich (and Switzerland) is a very expensive place, but for us this was the cheapest hotel (relative to others). No wifi

Atlantis Guesthouse was located near the train station, but it was not so near the main station. It was still convenient to go to the city center. It was clean, and good enough for our 4-day stay in Zurich. The beds were large, which is a plus. Service is good and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was average -- the usual continental buffet. I heard the hotels in Zurich are usually overpriced, so this hotel gives us the value for our money. Although it was far from the city, it was convenient enough for light travelers and those who want to see a different side of Zurich.

I arrived at the Zurich airport train station from Lucern around 9pm and took the shuttle service provided by NH Zurich hotel. My son and I were the only passengers and we were informed by the driver that the pick-up service is available to 11pm! When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff is professional and warm and am being informed on the shuttle bus service available for the following morning as we are checking out early. Room is big & bed is comfy for the price I pay. The next morning, the two of us are again the only passengers that are shuttled to the airport. The drivers are courteous and try to make the short 6min journey more pleasant by engaging us in conversation. It makes us feel welcome and leave a deep impression at the end of our trip.

After getting robbed in Italy, we were so grateful for the act of kindness from the hotel staff of Zurich airport Express hotel. They waived our carpark fee because they were very sympathetic towards our plight. Staffs were very friendly and kind.

I stayed there just for one night but I really had a nice time there. The hotel looked small from outside, and it may not be the 5 star hotel with gorgeous interior, but the room was clean with very nice smell, the bath tub was big with good amenities, and staffs were supportive. I could have a nice relaxing time. The hotel is located right in front of the tram station which is only 5 min from the central station. Also, there is a supermarket right next to the hotel, and also a nice lovely bakery was near the hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for staying in Zurich at good price. I will use this hotel again when I go to Zurich next time.

It was a comfortable and memorable stay. This affordable hotel in Zurich is located near to airport with free bus shuttle service and reachable in City within 10 min by an efficient train service. You can travel to the nearby beautiful Lucene City from Airport train in one hour.

This hotel is strategical located close to Zurich Airport. Nevertheless the room I stayed in was very quite, you do not hear the planes at all, which is important to me. Rooms are very clean, modern and nice, the food is good, the breakfast as well. This is for me one of the best airport hotels in the Zurich area. I will stay here much more, when traveling though Zurich.

Reasonably priced hotel in Zurich city center compared to other hotels nearby. Easily reachable through tram from the Main train station. The rooms were neat and clean.

Beautifully designed interiors! However, 2 people in the room have trouble maneuvering around the bed. One person would be fine but 2 was a little hard for such a small room. The 2 women who were running the hotel were just wonderful! Very, very helpful with positive attitudes and patient with non German speaking guests. It is a little pricey considering the size of the room but perhaps Zurich in general is pricey.

Needed a hotel before my flight from Zurich. Hotel is pretty easy to locate (15mins S Bahn ride from Zurich HB + 10-15 mins walk). Clean, spacious and has adequate facilities as well. Generally satisfied and feel that it's value for money

Clean room at the 5 minute train station to Zurich with smiling friendly staff. Coop is a next door. When I called the hotel reception that I have misplaced my shopping bag at the lobby, he kindly arranged a taxi driver to deliver the bag to me at the air port. I definitely will stay there again next time.

The room is clean but somehow there is this smoky smell in the room that I dislike. The bed is comfortable and large enough. The room is bright as it has a large window. Need to note that there is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. That means there is no kettle to boil water as well. The tram stop (No. 4) at Technopark is behind the hotel and it's about 12 minutes ride to Zurich HB station. You can also take a train to Hardbrucke Station from Zurich HB (less than 5 mins ride), but you need to walk for about 10 mins to the hotel. If the weather is hot, I suggest you take the tram which is quite frequent (every 10 mins).

The room was clean and organized. The private bathroom was clean and came with amenities. My sister and I only stayed here one night, so we didn't need anything fancy. Hotel Alexander was a good fit for us! This was our first time in Zurich and we didn't do much research before coming. The front desk was very helpful in recommending a restaurant and telling us how to travel to our next location in Switzerland. The hotel is close to lots of shops and restaurants. We came during the summer and the sun didn't set until around 9 PM, so we spent more time walking around the area in the evening. This is located across from a restaurant so I could see people outside my window and people could look in; we just kept the white sheer curtains pulled and it was no problem. However, it was a little noisy due to the businesses outside when places were still open. Overall, we had a good experience staying here.

The hotel is right at the Hirschen Platz which is in close proximity to restaurants and shops, it's also close enough to the Zurich main train station, which is convenient when you travel to other towns / cities in Switzerland. The staff there is helpful and friendly. The room decor is cozy and nice. I enjoyed the breakfast as well, not very fancy one but healthy and balanced enough to start a day. I would highly recommend this place in Zurich.

Switzerland is massively expensive so we were fairly happy that we found a reasonably priced hotel in Zurich. Kindly enough, we were upgraded for free to a large King room for three nights which was luxurious. Nice room and free inroom wifi. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also received a free chocolate bar! The hotel is about 20 minutes by tram out of the city which is a fair way but easy because Tram 11 takes you door-to-door. My only tiny gripe is with the new trend of installing glass doors on bathrooms. After 20 minutes grimacing with pain from last nights prawn vindaloo curry, you realise the whole family has been watching along with the cleaners and hotel management staff. Please don't use glass doors on bathrooms - it just doesn't make sense! Apart from that, a good hotel and would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay at the Dorint. The location is perfect as it's out of town, so you don't have the city prices, but it's close enough to public transport to make central Zurich a 30min ride by tram. It's on the tram link to the airport too, so no hefty taxi or shuttle bus fees. The hotel staff are friendly and make sure solo travellers are well looked after. Despite the proximity to the airport, there is no noise from take-off / landing in the evenings. You do hear the odd train but that is all. The rooms and public areas are well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay again when in Zurich.

Honestly, I was expecting a s.hole because most of the hotels in zurich were so expensive and all. but I was surprised to find such cute hotel located at the main train station in Zurich. The entrance of the hotel is clean and bright, the people at the front desk were extremelly nice and friendly (I was constantly annoying then random questions about where to do this or that, and they always gave good answers in a friendly yet professional manner.) The breakfast was great, lots of choices to choose from. The girls who work at the breakfast were also very friendly and made me feel at home. The rooms are a bit small and bathroom too, but if you are travelling alone without tons of luggage (and you don´t have a huge body) then it´s fine. If I return to Zurich I will certainly stay at this hotel!

The location of the hotel is good, quiet, away from the busy centre but only a short walking distance to public transport and main landmarks. The reception service is good. Althiugh check in is 2pm, they had a room available beforehand and let us check in. The rooms are a good size. Comfortable beds and could sleep well without noise from the street or other guests. The was a good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast, although the fruit didnt seem fresh. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are planning a short stay in Zurich.

It’s my first time in Switzerland and with the kindly help from the hotel lady, it make things easier for me. I walked along the lake till the church in the morning and met my friend in the train station. I put my luggage in the hotel until later in the afternoon. All nice feeling about it, I will choose it next time when I visit Zürich.

Hotel is located about 10mins by tram from Zurich main station. It's a reasonable rate for a clean and comfy room in high living cost Swiss. And convenient to commute with trams. I love the coffee machine in room and provision of a kettle too. There's supermarkets close by and choices of restaurants. My daughter love the bathtub.

the plattenhoff hotel is a wonderful place to stay in zurich. they have very contemporary designed rooms that are still warm. it is a good idea to request staying on the first floor if you can as they have the highest ceilings. other good features about the hotel is that the staff is delightful and the breakfast is good. they even have a soft-boiled egg maker (which i have never seen before). the hotel is also in a great location, within walking distance of the downtown and any area that you might need to get to in zurich. all trams are also easily accessible. this hotel is wonderful, especially for the money.

We stayed at Ramada for 2 days. The room is big enough for 4 of us. Glad it has AC while other hotel (with the same star) has not. Free Wifi..!! so my sons were happy. since we are from Indonesia, we were so glad because there is a Singaporean Restaurant just in front of the hotel (but dont ask about the price..it is Switzerland.. :) )

The Rex Hotel is a modern, well appointed hotel with comfortable rooms and clean fresh bathrooms. The views from the room we stayed in was excellent. The Rex's proximity to the city is very handy, we preferred to walk the 15-20 minute walk rather than catch the trams that stop close to the hotel. The hotel's breakfast was very nice and the staff member looking after the restaurant was very courteous. Zurich was a great place for a short visit with a very clean well organized and historical feel.

Very clean, spacious room with free Internetaccess. Do not expect lots of extra comfort: it is a 2star hotel (small bathroom, no aircon,etc.)) But: very good price, compared to other hotels in Zurich. Bedding and towels clean and fresh every day. Friendly staff, everything worked as arranged, parking space was available as booked(very important in this area!)If you need silence it won´t be for you: it´ is located in the middle of Zurichs nighlife district. Lots of noise on the weekends though! On the other hands it is also close to the center (15 min. walk to Bahnhofstrasse, direct Busline to Kunsthaus, etc,). We stayed there for a weekend to explore the city. Knowing about the location of the hotel, i took my earplugs with me, closed the window and slept marvellous.......:))
