Great Break to Cocos”
We had an excellent stay at the Cocos Castaway. The accommodation is great and roomy for our family. Fridge was nice and big to have all the food that you brought from home. There are limited food options so bring your own! It's a great place to chill out for a week. Owners running were really helpful and there are free bikes to use to ride around if you are keen

Fantastic Location”
Myself and Partner were there in May for a holiday from Perth. The room was exactly as described and more. Really good location with a 10 second walk to the beach. Lots to do including tours, snorkelling, Scuba Diving and more. Really fantastic place and one of the most unspoilt picturesque places I have seen. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Graham and Annelies are lovely people. The accommodation is located behind the airstrip, but planes are not an obtrusive sound. The self-contained room has a cafe sandwich press, hairdryer, toaster and other essentials. Bring your own food for your stay as the supermarket is well pricey and the restaurant buffet is all canned and greasy at 33 bucks a pop. We will definitely return to this tastefully furnished and super easy going gem of a place. 5 stars.

Enjoyable stay, The hosts were available but not hovering. Rooom was provided with good kitchen facilities, but I did expect to find shampoo provided in the bathroom. The bed whilst comfortable was very low for anyone with a back problem trying to get up from the bed.

Relaxed snorkel and dive holiday.”
Our host Dieter picked us up from the airport and quickly transported us to our cheerful, relaxed and comfortable room. We were able to see a lot of the Island and easily do activities such as exciting snorkelling and a trip in an motorised outrigger canoe and our hosts also supplied some funky bicycles for us to use.

Einen großen Transfer hat man nicht vom Flughafen. Man fährt mit den Koffern über die Straße und ist schon da. Es landen nur zwei Passagiermaschinen und ein paar Frachtflieger in der Woche auf dem Flughafen - also keinerlei Lärmbelästigung. Zum einzigen Supermarkt sind es 2 Gehminuten maximal. Neben der Unterkuft ist auch ein Restaurant, welches jeden Tag geöffnet ist. Das Wichtigste: der Bottelshop und das kulturelle Zentrum liegt auch direkt gegenüber der Unterkunft. Keine Lärmbelästigung! Von der Terasse direkten Blick auf das Meer und den Sonnenuntergang.

Traumhaft schön!!Wer hier nicht bucht ist selbst schuld. Schöner, zerntraler und besser geht nicht!! Alle anderen Unterkünfte sind sehr viel schlechter oder zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt. Cocos Castaway liegt zentral zum Flughafen, Supermarkt, Bar (der einzigen auf Cocos, wo man abends auch mal ein Bier/Wein/Softdrink trinken gehen kann. Bier kostet an der Bar 4 AUD und wenn man es von dort mitnimmt 3 AUD. Wein kauft man nur in der Bar jede Flasche kostet ab 10 AUD aufwärts. Lebensmittel gibts im Supermarkt. In der Küche gibt es keinen Herd, einen Kühlschrank, Toaster, Sandwichmaker, Kocher. Instant Kaffepulver, Salz Pfeffer, Spülmittel, Schwamm und Putztuch, Waschmittel für Waschmaschine von BOSCH alles das war vorhanden. Jeder Gast: bekommt Handtuch, Badetuch,Strandtuch. Fön,Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Fernseher, Radio, Wecker, Wasserkocher. Safe im Schrank. Fahrrad ausleihen kostenlos. Auto mieten: weißer, neuere Pikups. Der Südstrand ist am schönsten!!! Abendessen im Beach Motel: Kosten: 33 AUD pro Person 13 AUD pro Kind. Es gab jeden Abend Büffet. Wenn kaum Gäste dort sind bestellt man per Karte.Softgetränke kann man mitbestellen, Alkoholgetränke holt man sich aus der Bar schräg gegenüber. Die Menschen sind sehr sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, lieb und sehr nett! Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch die Kanutour mit Champagner Frühstück!! Ich möchte es nicht missen!!Ein Trip nach Direktion Island ist mit der Fähre kein Problem und dafür aber ein Erlebnis. Der Pavillion dort wurde von uns mit dem General Gouveneur eingeweiht. Es war unebschreiblich was wir dort auf COCOs KEELING ISLAND alles erleben durften!! Vielen Dank an alle die mitgewirkt haben! Anneliese ist eine sehr sehr nette freundliche Gastgeberin, die jedem jederzeit Auskunft und auch Hilfe erteilt!Wir hatten den Bungalow mit direktem Meerblick und ich hätte dort bleiben können, so schön war es. Ich würde immer wieder Cocos Castaway buchen!
