Good view n good for money”
We stayed for 3 nights. I enjoyed the private beach n the free boat activities from the boat house. I also had the massage, it was just ordinary. Breakfast is ok with us, although if they offer the toaster to bake the croissant , it will be much better. For winter season, stay in the west is a brilliant choice, n we had amazing sunsets there! I will love to go back!
Reception staff need to be more friendly. They don't give a hand with luggages on check out. I also don't like it when they call you to remind you of your check out date. Feels like you can't a food to pay.
Stayed on our 1st couple of nights to plan the next part of our trip. Really enjoyed the hotel, nice & quiet. Beautiful gardens, lovely staff & food good. There is a beach & we swam from here but it is not a beautiful beach. Interesting because you can see the tankers that go in & out of Port Louis. Great location to explore the north western end of this wonderful island.
Great staff , very helpful ”
The hotel is old but well maintained, its location is ok , near most attractions in north and the capital, special thank to Ms Mari incharge of the Spa and Mr Denis the Manger for thier support and helps.
Quiet and relax”
Nice hotel with good scenery. Hotel staff, especially the security staff are very friendly and helpful. The room has ants and mosquitoes. Hope the management will look into this. There is a shop opposite the hotel where you can buy drinks but be prepared to pay at a higher price. The last bus to hotel from Port Louis is at 6pm. Bus will stop in front of the hotel.
not bad, not good either”
we checked in quite late in the afternoon and all the procedures went smooth. The room had the minimum comfort expected. One fridge, a safetybox, tv. However the mattress was incurved and really soft, and the neigbour's dog kept barking until late after midnight. Wifi was not really stable. Breakfast was ok, with a splendid view on the beach. On their facilities list, the hotel mentionned the Spa prices, but when I inquired about it at front desk, they told me they could not provide it anymore. The location is good if you are planning to stay next to Port Louis.
A Little Beach Gem ”
This is a lovely small beach hotel, with a well maintained swimming pool, pleasent gardens and the new French owners have ambitious plans to upgrade this hotel. In my opinion this is not a 2 star hotel but certainly deserves to be 3 stars plus and it is great value for money. I have just a three minor criticisms, the bedrooms/balconies could do with some updating and the stairs leading to the top floor bedrooms need daily cleaning and finally the choice of breakfast needs updating.
We stayed there for 4 Nights... It was one of our best experience... The staffs were exceptionally brilliant, taking care of us from the moment we arrived... I feel this hotel is under rated, it got everything... Sega event on Saturday was fun. Thanks for making our stay wonderful... U made Mauritius even more beautiful...
My Stay At The Cocotiers Hotel”
The staff were very helpful, there should be more night activities, most of the time the food was cold and the dishes served was not for every person. Other than that it was OK, we checked out very early and arranged us some snacks before we left which was very thoughtful of them
Exceeded my expectations ”
Had a lovely stay at Cocotier hotel. The staff are amazing and extreamly friendly. This hotel is not just about taking your money all the little extras which other hotels charge for are free. It's out of the busy towns which makes it very peaceful . Only down side is the beach is coral not sand. And I reconend the half board as there are no restaurants walking distance
It was fantastic for the money we payed”
We enjoyed our stay there, it was handy for Port Louis and other attractions, if you drive thenit is a great location, if not the hotel are very helpful and willing to help. I would recomend this hotel, value for money. Only thing is the beach is a coral beach, but watching the fishermem was great.
Friendly with good vibe”
The hotel is located 20min car ride from Port Louis in remote area/small village. There is no local attractions just small very oldfashioned general shop across the road from the hotel with min stock where you can get water snack etc. The hotel itself is set in beautiful very peaceful garden with sea view. There are loungers available on the beach for hotel guests, but sea shoes are essential to walk or swim in the ocean due to corals d rocks. The food is ok not exceptional but ok. Its a buffet for breakfast where beans scrambled eggs are available but slso pastries and fresh fruits, dinner is more limited to pasta, chicken d fish. Staff members are friendly d very helpful apart from the receptionist who called at night d woke us up only to check what time we are checking out the following day what i think is outreagues. I would recommend this hotel to couples as single traveller may feel lonely. The rooms are simple and a bit dated but have all what needed, generally good vibe place.
Nice hotel but...”
The position and beach let this what could have a been a little gem down ...room was basic but adequate most rooms have pool view but we ended up in the back block on the main road...luck of the draw i guess ...buffet dinner was terrible...breakfast buffet was good. Quiet hotel with nothing going on. Lovely pool and gardens.
Great Value for Money”
The property is great value for money considering beach-side silent acquaintances. Positive side : You can relax beach-side in evening after-works, have a dive in swimming pool or relax in cottage type gallery rooms with clear sea-view. However negatively it is not in proximity of nearby markets or stores, so after evening you cannot do anything except spending time inside property. Also it i a bit far from city centre, north-side attractive beaches or Southern attractions. Overall Good Experience, May have to think for repeat...
Nice beach hotel”
Nothing nearby the hotel. Is convenient if you rent a car. The hotel breakfast was great.
Service is very bad.breakfast very simple.
Nice place, reasonably quiet, good beach.
Great and well located for a couple of days break.
Good value for money. You really only get what you pay for. ”
Breakfast needs more variety. We were here for ten nights and the breakfast was difficult to eat after the 5th day. Always the same. Always. The security guards are the real gems of the hotel. They make you feel welcome and taken care of. The restaurant staff are not great. They do not wipe tables and placemats after each seating making flies and ants a problem. The beach at the hotel is not suitable for swimming but the sunsets you experience at the waters edge are breathtaking. It is great value for money.
The hotel is situated alone the sea, but the beach is the most awful beach I ever seen. The hotel is also poorly facilited, just a bed in the room, and don't even have a desk and chair for sitting.
