"Lovely hotel and our room was a corner room up on level one which meant we had the verandah all around and a great vuew of the river The hotel has been renovated and stands out in Cooktown. The bathroom and shower were fantastic. We did not use the pool however the setting and pool looked great and relaxing Thanks to all the helpful and lovely staff"

"This was our first trip to Cooktown, and this little hotel was a nice place to stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we are sure that Captain Cook would have stayed here in 1770. The only downside was that everything bar the pub was closed when we arrived."
