We stayed there for four nights at the beginning of August. It was me, my friend and her 2 year-old son. The location of this hotel is great, as it is right in the center of Stockholm right next to Central Station for metro and trains. It's also walking distance from Gamla Stan. I requested twin beds for the bedroom and they complied without a problem. During checking they saw we were there with a toddler so they gave him a stuffed animal, crayons and a coloring book. Breakfast was included and it was GREAT. The only thing possibly lacking was probably a wider variety of gluten-free products. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we asked them a question. Overall good experience and good value for the money I paid.

Within walking distance of the Metro & Gamla Stan. Had a view of Stockholm waterways and looked towards the Tivoli. Beautifully presented room, however was onee of the smallest we had stayed in during our time in Denmark, Nowary & Sweden. Buffet breakfast was fabulous Staff were very accomodating & helpful

The hotel is located very near Central station which is a plus point for me as we are arriving and departing via rail to other parts of sweden. It is also within walking distance to the shopping area and old town. The room is ok...but the receptionist is great. They were very kind to allow us to check into one of the rooms early and even grant us a late checkout upon our request. It was really rare as many times, other hotel that I stayed in would just grant us either or make us wait till the check in time. The breakfast spread was great and the selection is super. I enjoyed my stay in stockholm and was grateful for the receptionist who recommended a traditional swedish restaurant that serves fabulous food.

I stayed in a business class room, which is the size of the average Australian hotel, so this would makes it large by Sweden's standards. Wireless internet was fast and easy to connect, the room had an Iron and trouser press ( both a rarity in this part of the world)so that was great. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in any part of Sweden and if you cannot find food to your liking, you are indeed too fussy. The hotel is in Centrum, the centre of town, and is easy walk to shopping and all the services you need.

Decent hotel, but for a 4 star you’d think they would include a better than industrial public bathroom toilet paper. Also, technically a/c was on and working, but it just felt like it was just a fan blowing some air around. It wasn’t too hot outside though, so it was ok. Otherwise the room and bathroom were great. Large room and a huge shower. Breakfast was great. Good coffee. No need to go to any coffee shops.

The room is big and clean. Walking distance to the central station and old town. Bar and restaurant just downstairs. Sweden meatball tasted good!

We had the most fun stay and loved this place. I read tonnes of reviews before going so knew that the room would be small and prepared my husband for it. Although it was small, it was different for us to be in such a place and we had a lot of fun there and really enjoyed it. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the place was clean. Vanilla latte in the coffee house was the best coffee we had our whole 4 week holiday in Europe! Great location. We want to stay there again next time!!!

We couldn't be happier with our 1 night stay here. The staff was extremely accommodating when we arrived early from a long flight, so we got the room in the morning. This was the best thing that could happen to us, as we could have a nap in the best bed in the world, before heading out to see the city. Rooms are just excellent, there is absolutely nothing that wasn't good. Staff were so kind to us all the time. We decided that we will stay here always when we go to Stockholm, and looking forward to our next trip already. Thank you Radisson Strand!

We stayed for two nights and would have no hesitation in staying again as the whole experience was excellent. I would also say how impressed I was with all the star facilities foe example the bikes for hire and the ginger shots before breakfast all extras which in my experience Is something very different , well done . If I had one criticism I felt the evening meals in the restaurant were quite limited an in my opinion expensive .

They have a lot of amenity; free coffee or tea, sauna, free tour or service something. 10minuite to walk from central bus terminal. And everyday changed entrance password so safety, especially they have free pasta to eat is good to us in expensive sweden.

I had a great day and night in Malmo, where did impress my friend and me a lot. Strongly recommended for this hotel since it's really nice. The only thing for me is the bed size, a bit small to us but I found other bed in the same size in Sweden and Danmark, so that makes sense to me.

This hotel is the best choise i have made ever in Sweden. Mostly at the reception desk person who was working is very kind

The Birger Jarl Hotel is centrally located within the city of Stockholm Sweden. Just a short walk away are many tourist attractions including ther main shopping precinct and wonderful restaurants. The Hotel is clean and is excellent value for money. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and provides a wide range of items that would satisfy everyone. On the top floor there is a small gym and sauna which is the perfect place to visit after a day of work. The hotel is very suitable as a both a business and tourist venue.

Stockholm is expensive, so I booked this as the best somewhat affordably option with a central location. Right on top of the main station for the metro and across the road from the airport train (Arlanda Express), and 5-10 minutes walk from Gamla Stan (old city). Plenty of nearby restaurants to chose from. The property is aged but well maintained. The included breakfast is adequate - the only thing I missed was an "egg station". Tea and instant coffee in the room. One outstanding feature was a smart TV and fast WiFi, so we were able to stream our own Australian TV replays directly to the large screen. We had an "executive suite with city view". Nice for watching life's passing parade below, but noisy at night. There's no aircon, so we had an issue not getting too hot at night because we couldn't have the window open.

Nice stay in central Malmo. Close to good shopping and ver decent and value for maoney reatuarants ( being in Sweden)

The location was great - just a few minutes walk to the tramstop The staff at the front desk is not very accommodating. We informed the hotel in our booking that we would arrive around 11.00 am. When we arrived at the hotel, we were to told that the check in was after 15.00 o'çlock. We asked if we could leave our things in a storage and that was ok. When we got in there I was asked to put our things at a higher place, although there was enough space at the floor. This is not a reply you expect at a 4* hotel. On our other questions we only got a basic reply and no additional info. For example: we asked how to get to the city center. We were told to take the tram, but we were not told where we could find this; we had to ask that again. The staff in the restaurant (for breakfast) was very courteous, friendly and hospitable.

in sweden, the bathroom with bathtub is rarely seen, because it had not been common habit for long time. however, radisson sas has bathtub. i think this is very good after long flight. radisson sas has been located in quite good place. this hotel is in centre of the airport and travellers don't need to carry their luggage long way. i strongly recommend for every travellers who plan to depart early from or arrive late at the arlunda airport.

A great choice when in need of a hotel close to Arlanda airport. Yellow buses, P3 Alfa, leaves every 10-15 minutes just outside every terminal at Arlanda, no cost. In 10 minutes you are ready to check in at the hotel. Big newly renovated room, great working space, excellent lighting, great bed and beautiful bathroom with shower. Minibar with fair prices. The included breakfast is served from 04,30 AM so early flights is no problem. Please allow yourself to enjoy this excellent breakfast, one of the best! Their is also a great restaurant and a big bar so you can take the yellow bus, P3 Alfa, directly to the hotel upon arriving to. Arlanda. I can recommend the shrimp sandwich with a Wisby Stout beer.

We booked room 6 to fit us and our two small children. Although booking with shared bathroom, I never felt like the bathroom was busy. I had some doubts about the breakfast, given that previous reviews promised so but the canteen seemed kind of simple at first sight, but I was gladly surprised! :) Best of all, some of the breakfast stuff were open for guests to take throughout the whole day! Fruits, biscuits, coffee/the, juice, cereal, pastries etc. Wonderful for our little kiddos! A special thanks to Nick at the front desk for being so helpful and service minded. We’ll be back for sure!

I booked a cheap room last minute and it was perfect for what I needed for a few days. Small basic room with a twin size bed and tv. Nothing fancy but I wasn't going for fancy. I would use them again.

We have stayed at many places around the world and Hotel Rival is one that we would come back to. Beautifully planned rooms, whistle clean, great food and cocktails and a staff that is focused on their guests. The location of the hotel is a bit away from the tourist attractions but a short walk to the underground brings the whole city to your feet. The concierge, Shawn, is one of the best we have ever worked with. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Tegnerlunden which in Stockholm. The hotel was well priced for the being so close to the centre of the city and Sweden is generally an expensive country. We arrived at the central station and walked to the hotel, took around 10 minutes and was easy to find. We arrived several hours early hoping to leave our bags before going exploring. They already had our room ready, so we went straight up! The room was a fair size for two people with a tv, table and a sitting chair. The bathroom was a wet room, which I generally don't like, but this was the best wet room I've ever seen. There was a movable door on the shower which help to stop the water from going everywhere. The heating was good in the room, in fact, we found it to hot and had to turn it down to about half way. Breakfast was generally done well with a wide variety to choose from. We did find on the Saturday morning that it was rather busy but find on week days. We had little need to interact with the staff but when we did they were alway pleasant. The hotel was centrally located within Stockholm and we could walk to the city centre and 'old town' within 10 minutes. During our stay we didn't use an public transport as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We traveled as far as Skansen by foot, roughly 30 min walk. We booked this hotel through a discount in agoda but we centrally rebook if ever visiting Stockholm again. There was WIFI throughout the hotel which operates fast and we had no issue connecting multiple devices to it.

The hotel was ok. It was expensive, even for Scandinavia. I think it catered to shoppers in the mall next door, we were looking for a hotel on our drive from Bergen to Copenhagen.

I liked the hotel. I really did. It had a lot of personality, it was very quiet, and the location was pretty good (close to a mall and a subway stop, about 20 minutes from Skansen and about 30 minutes from Gamla Stan). There were a few issues however. First of all, the room itself was rather small. No room even to walk around. Second, no air-conditioner or refrigerator. That's not a bad thing, just something that I personally look for in a room. The breakfast buffet was okay, but not worth the money I paid for it. Finally, whoever was cleaning the room did a very half-hearted job. They made the bed and that was it - nothing else. They didn't even wipe down the sink a single time in my five day stay. Not a bad hotel, but even for expensive Sweden, I don't think it was necessarily worth the price.

The hotel was easy to find, close to the rail station in a leafy suburb with some shops right at the station. Their was also some restaurants close by. The hotel room had a small kitchen and all utensils to prepare a meal from ingredients bought at the local store. The beds were comfortable, the windows could open and the view from the 13th floor was very good as the hotel is already on a high spot. Breakfast was a basic spread of cereals, very good breads, cold meats, selection of cheeces, jam and hot and cold drinks. The fruit juices were very diluted. Nuts and dried fruit were also on offer as well as a selectoin af cracker breads. Reception is manned all day long and the service was friendly and effecient, also with offering directions. A good stay at a reasonable price in an expensive city.

Easy to travel around !! Small hotel but great facilities, rooms are clean, staffs are nice and give a good advise !!~
