Convenient location. A fair distance to walk to the restaurants. You have to walk to the adjourning blocks to reach the restaurant cluster. Restaurants are usually rather crowded. Expect long waiting time, 40 to 60 minutes

1)The hotel staff is very friendly. 2) It is a good option if anyone need to stay in NanGang area. 3) Just next to NanGang High Speed train station, convenience for traveller. 4) It is also next to the mall.

Nice hotel in Metro Taipei”

The staff in front desk are helpful, and cheerful. Although there is a defect on the handle of the bathtub, the staff are responsive and repair it immediately. Strengthen work on repair and maintenance is expected, and I trusted that the Hotel will take further action on this issue. Will definitely choose to stay here when visiting Nangang area in the future.

Good location next to Nangang Metro station. It is little far if you want to go to 101 Building and shopping area. It takes 15-20 min by taxi and costs 250-300 TWD. I asked Concierge to call a taxi to the airport. It costs 1,400 TWD, Fixed price to Taoyuan airport

Highly Recommended”

My daughters and I stayed here for 2 nights. It's in a great location near the train station and a large shopping mall right next door. Very easy to see sights around Taipei from this hotel. Staff were fantastic. Buffet breakfast was OK, a few more western options would have been great. Our room was spacious, clean and with a great view. In-room snacks (locally made) were free and delicious!

Friendly Staff, Poor Amenities ”

Staff cares about everything when you are in need. A Forbes standard in terms of Service. Hotel Facilities is infact another story. Yes, its a new hotel, fairly clean and fairly new. The water in the shower room is weak, water already weak but water leaking out of the shower glass. Pillow too soft although they provide 4 for each bed. Designer problem. The staff is perfect!

Great Hotel staff”

We checked in around 3am and expected there would not be room for check-in during Easter holiday. The staff did apology to us and recommend a placeto eat and a temporary motel next to the suggested restaurant. In addition , he made arrangement for a taxi for us. We visited the bookstore and head back to hotel around 9am. The duty manager is aware of our situaton and apology again. He then manage to get a room for us around 10am while we look forward for a bed desperately. Thanks again for the great team in Marriot.

Very helpful staff and nice facilities”

My boyfriend had just lost his phone in a taxi when we arrived at the hotel for our one night stay. The front desk staff were super helpful and pointed us to the right police station so we could get the police to help. Location is excellent (right on top of a subway and HSR stop), and room and hotel facilities are all modern and comfortable.

Booked 2 months in advance and was provided a handicap room when checked in. Staff told me the difference between normal n handicap room are that there are more railing in the room and desk is lower. It is not true at all. There was no proper bathroom, wash basin was tiny. Bathroom door was so Low that one has to scoop almost squat to close / open. There is no proper area to drop off guest coming or going to airport. Terrible experience.

Hotel staff are great and friendly and always greet you when you are around. Room is clean and the only complaint I have is that the toilet floor is very wet after shower as the shower area did not have a good water proofing. Free drinks in the room are replenish daily which is good for the guest.

All Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. (Mr. Elsen Tung was especially very helpful). The facilities are brand-new and the room is spacious and clean. It is connected to the MRT Nangang Station so we could easily get access to the city's downtown (approximately 20 minutes) It also offers different kinds of restaurants nearby. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Great facilities but poor tasting food.”

The only drawback was food was terrible, breakfast served Kool Aid/Sunny D like beverage labeled as juice. Eggs, even cooked to order was rubbery, sausages are kept in hot water, the condiments for congee are all over the place, you have to run to different counters to get the right condiments and they were missing crullers, preserved/salted duck eggs as condiments. I usually look forward to breakfast but at this hotel it was lots of variety but bad tasting food. Even the executive lounge, cocktail hour was always Asian style taco wraps, no variety. Their desserts were excellent. You have to switch to another elevator bank to get to gym and there is no pool.
