"Lovely character filled pub, but along way from anywhere else, which may be nice but it means you really have alimited choice for meals. The food is hit and -some excellent some poor and quite overpriced (but they have you as a captive market!)- staff seemed really rushed and not able to give the attention expected. One staff watched me struggle to open the door whilst carrying several items of luggage - standing right beside the door - not even an offer to open the door for me. The rooms were not claeaned at all properly during our stay. Our toilet failed to flush properly unless you pushed the handle 5 or 6 timesin rapid succession, sometimes not at all. Despite advising the manager within 10mins of our arrival and him assuring us he'd have a plumber in first thing in the morning, it was never fixed. Could be a great stay but ..."
