Facility fine, some staff awful”
I’ve never left any review in my whole life, this is the first time cuz I believe this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Firstly, the rude and arrogant front desk. When I arrived he charged me twice, and it was me who found out and asked about it. He didn’t apologize even once, instead he asked me to give him back the credit card with a poker face. I didn’t say anything cuz I was tired and I’m not a person who’s picky about services or want trouble with other ppl, so I just left. Things got worse when a friend came to visit me one day. I’d been traveling alone for three months so I was very excited about his visit. I assumed it was ok to let him crush at my place for a night since it does not cause any extra cost for the hotel when I’ve already paid for my room, which was my bad. But I do think how the same front desk handled this is unacceptable. He interrogated me first, and demanded my friend to get his passport right away despite my request of doing it later since we were starving and on our way to dinner. He responded to my request with: “I said, now”, with his poker face, again. I still said nothing this time, cuz it was indeed my fault first for assuming that it was ok to let a friend stay in my room for a night. But I could not hold it anymore when he charged my friend unreasonable price. At first he gave us a random amount which was not identical to the hotel rate, when I pointed that out, he did not apologize again. My friend paid and he didn’t get the breakfast wristband, I had to ask for it when we came back from the restaurant. In the end we found out he charged my friend 10 bucks more than the market price. I admit it was my fault for not asking the hotel in advance before inviting my friend over, but I do think the horrible attitude of this staff is unacceptable, he really needs some proper training before taking up this job in a holiday resort where people seek peace and comfort instead of war and disgust. Secondly, the cleanin
A lovely hotel very lovely surroundings ,staff friendly and helpful. My disappointed is related to my request for taxi to the airport. I consider the charge of €20 A rip off,but had no choice. This sadly was a regular experience in Egypt. If they want people to return this is not the way to do it. Michael Quirke
Nice pool and room was very clean”
Cons is that in Egypt you are always harrased into buying nonesense and this hotel in some way felt the same way with the facilities.
Beautiful hotel with giant pool and good sized rooms. Definitely recommend. The only thing to be aware of is that you have a taxi ride to Naama Bay where all the bars/restaurants are but it should only cost you a max of 25 LE.
Hotel propre.
