Good location, nice hotel, green spaces, limited space at the pool, city views, security checks at the pool, can't bring drinks to the pool, expensive drinks at the pool $6 for water , $ 9 for small can of beer,
Very bad wifi! ”
The location of the hotel is very convenient. Room is big and clean too. The only cons is that the wifi signal is very very bad as it keep disconnecting while using it, it is not acceptable as we are paying the resort fee for this facilities.
Room smells like tobacco, stayed there for 3 nights as well as the bad smell. Overall acceptable accomodation, staff was really helpful especially the concierge
Highly recommended the Flamingo. Central location on the strip. The rooms have recently been renovated. Excellent staff. WIFI really good.
So nice people in Flamingo and nice viw
Not value for money”
I booked Flamingo through Agoda. At the time of booking, I didn't notice anywhere that I need to pay extra for Resort charge. I came to know only I booked the hotel and got confirmation email. The resort charges are 50% of night rate I.e. USD 40 per night. I called Hotel n Agoda both but they said it is mandatory. Then I though let's use the resort when I paid. At the hotel when I asked, I want to use resort facilities like Jacuzzi and sauna. To my surprise I have been told to pay USD 25 per person to use these facilities. When I asked I already paid resort charges. They side resort charges only include entry to swimming pool, wifi and local call which I believe no one would use when every one has the mobile and data plan. Anyway, I was disappointed with Agoda, not letting me know resort charge upfront and Flamingo for not letting me use resort facilities in spite of paying resort charges.
very good hotel”
the hotel is very good, the room was big and comfortable the location is very good check in/check out can take some time, depends on the timing
Not A Pleasant Stay”
My rooms are pet friendly. Old interior and not convenient.
Great price in the middle of the strip”
This was our first time in Vegas. I wanted a fancy room but took the advice of a friend and spent less on the room to allow more for fun. Smart! The room was standard. Nothing great but nothing terrible about it either. The hotel itself was nice. However, don’t expect dozens of flamingos. There were about 7. Also, watch out for the con artists at the elevator entrance. Hotel staff looking to have you sit through a timeshare presentation for a free dinner. Don’t do it. We had the brunch buffet once. It really didn’t have much breakfast food and the quality was so-so. Skip the $5 unlimited Bloody Mary they offer. It’s straight tomato juice. The hotel was perfectly set in the middle of the strip. There’s a nice “street” between the Flamingo and Linq that has a ton of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Check out the happy hours too. We will stay at another hotel next time just to change it up, but Flamingo is a fair deal for the money. I never saw construction or the associated noises.
Excellent location ”
The perfect location for getting around Vegas, everything is on your doorstep. All staff that we came across were extremely friendly and helpful. We got married in the garden Chapel and had the wonderful day, would highly recommend for any couple looking to get married in Vegas... Thank you for the memories x
Great location and good value for money ”
We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. The location was perfect for us to see shows at the Ceasar’s without the price tag it carries. We got an upgrade to the executive level on the 28th floor with a very freshly renovated room. Really impeccable. There are lots of restaurants to choose from both in the hotel and right around it. The one negative we found was the constant approach by sales people wanting to get us into a time share talk. Luckily because of reading reviews prior to our trip, we knew not to engage in those conversations and just kept walking. But it’s still quite annoying. When visiting more upscale hotels we did not see anything similar there so I guess this comes with the lower end budget. But overall a great choice and don’t let the older facade make you think the rooms you stay in are not gonna be nice. Especially recommend the Flamingo and the GO rooms.
Don't understand why I have to pay property tax more than mentioned in Agoda (from USD33 to USD40) If you don't want the maid to clean up your room, you will get USD10 as credit coupon to buy some drinks and foods.
Great location but crowded ”
Wait for long time for checking-in. I chose express kiosk but it told me that room is on preparing and will notify me via email once it is completed. Waiting for 6 hrs but no email then I backed to hotel in the night to reception staff to check in again. The staff helped to facilitate the room with coupons for complimentary.
Good location and pretty good value but not good amenities for a family”
Good location and pretty good value but not good amenities for a family. The pool looked great in the photos but is only for people over 21 . There is a family pool but it’s very tiny and crowded. That was a big disappointment. The rooms are nicely renovated but the walls are thin and could hear everything happening in the neighbors room you had a baby who cried all night. For the price it was pretty decent value but I would not stay here again or recommend it especially for a family.
central location. decent value considering youre right on the strip. my only complaint - probably agodas fault? - i booked a room based on the photo on agoda, which had a tub. and to make sure they had it i even included it in my additional requests stating “the reason i chose this room over other options is cos of the tub”. of course when i got there we were given a room thats totally different from the one on the agoda photos and with no tub. when i complained to hotel staff about this they merely said they had no control over whatever photos agoda uses and they also didnt get my request. been an agoda user for many years now. they usually dont suck but this instance - not cool.
nice swimming pool”
it was awesome!! I will stay here again.
The staff where all great. love location. for sure will be back. thank you!
Nice but crowded facility”
Big hotel, friendly stuff, clean rooms. However, very busy.
it's a great, inexpensive place to stay.”
Yes, the rooms are very comfortable, clean, etc., if that's all you want. But this is Nevada, and everybody smokes in public, so the hotel isn't very non-smoker friendly. Be prepared for lots of blaring music and flashing lights in all public areas, throughout Vegas. For me, the experience at the Flamingo (and Vegas) was overpowering. I had arrived from a long flight from London Heathrow, was tired, and jet lagged, so I wasn't ready to party, gamble, etc. As I don't gamble, the hotel didn't make any money off me losing.
The only thing that would be better is that you states all fees ahead of time. The advisement states free parking, then when we got there we were charge parking every night of 12.00. Resort fees on the advertisement states we have to pay the hotel at 35.00 a night, that also changed when we got there to 39.68 a night. These are minor payments, but a family on a budget needs to know all the correct fees. When we checked in the hotel asked if we wanted cleaning service or a 10.00 meal credit for each day, we did not receive either. On a good note, the location was the best.
