"The technical equipment in the rooms was certainly outdated and the floors and walls worn-out but given that the majority of houses in Britain are old and leaky with outdated equipment, this was not really an issue. This was made up for by the overall very lovely and friendly atmosphere. The reception hall was pitoresque. Overall, it was the place where we felt best in our seven day stay in scotland encompassing Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fort William"

"The hotel is only 5 mins walk away from the Fort William town centre. So it was really convenient for us to walk out for dinner. The hotel has 2 parts but we were at the side without a lift so it was a bit tough for bring our 3 big luggages up to the 3rd floor. Where our room was the stairs were also narrow. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and the room is very clean. Breakfast was good too."

"I booked online and prepaid for a two-night stay. It was for a special occasion so I took the time to choose a nice B&B. The confirmation email I received about the booking had the name address and phone number of the B&B I had selected. When we arrived there, there was no booking for a room and in the end we found out we were booked into this place instead - not what I had wanted. We were very disappointed. The facilities were much worse than expected and the room was very small and the private bathroom tiny. The bed was very uncomfortable and very creaky. In fact we were so unhappy that we left after the first night. If I had wanted to stay here I might have been content."
