After reading reviews from previous guests I decided to go with Four Queens. If you need a place where the fun is close ,this is it. No resort fees, clean, and I've had the best sleep here. Some reviews said it's loud so we came prepared but it wasn't loud at all. We stayed in the North Tower on the seventh floor. Yes you could faintly hear the band at night but when they stop it's quiet. Coffee maker in the room was nice and the coffee was pretty good too. We didn't have a room with a microwave or fridge but it didn't matter, there's an ice machine at the end of the hall....fill up a bucket or small cooler to keep drinks cold. The price was good as well as the convenience of being close to The Deuce bus stops that will take you over to The Strip......ask at the front desk for the bus stops info. At the northern end of Fremont Experience is a bus stop that has a couple kiosks to buy you bus passes. We did a 3 day unlimited pass, off and on whenever you want, for 20.00. Denny's has been our go to restaurant morning and late night....great food and cheaper prices for 55+ and good service too. Bottom line if you want a clean, convenient, friendly hotel without the extra resort fees and can get a good night's sleep Id recommend Four Queens. I cannot comment on the restaurants here because I haven't eaten there but I've heard from friends they were good. Stay here and have a great time. 😊
Heart of Fremont”
Four Queens is our go-to downtown hotel. Primarily because they are alone, on Fremont, in not having a resort fee and their rates are among the lowest anywhere in the valley. The only casino that's even close is Oyo and....well look up their reviews... It's not fancy, it's not glamorous, it's not amazing in any way. The "premium south tower" rooms are hardly premium any more, but not to worry, they're engaged in a complete remodeling of the north tower as I write this (August 2024). We shall see what it does to their prices when they're done. Decent food choices in the hotel, decent casino, decent tables. Nothing to go crazy over, but it's all here. But, Fremont, has everything within walking distance so you really have a vast number of choices within a half-mile in any direction. They still have free parking too! When we're on a tight budget, this is where we always land and it's always fine.

Good place to stay in the hustle and bustle”
We enjoyed our stay at the 4 queens. The room was clean and big. Tv was fine. Shower was fine. Biggest things was the location, parking, and no resort fees. The location is awesome right in the center of Fremont. Parking was free with the player card. And best of all no hidden resort fees. I hate that all the hotels now have resort fees BS. Just add it to the price I say. But 4 queens was good. Room was not loud. Hotel house keeping was good. And shout out to I forgot her name but she was from hawaii and was very nice and was clearly working hard. Also the wifi was good and I could teach my classes will there. Highly recommend for a good place that won’t break your wallet!

I've stayed at the Four Queens several times in the past year -- both in the North and South Towers. The North Tower is directly on Fremont St and can be quite noisy at all hours. The South Tower is set back, is the "newer" of the two towers (even though it's old) and usually considered the quiet tower. Well, after staying several times, I can tell you that the South Tower has noisy rooms too. Not as noisy as the North Tower, but still noisy. The lower South Tower rooms on the west side do not have the advantage of having the North Tower shielding them from Fremont St. So while not as loud, you can still hear the noise of Fremont St from the lower level South Tower rooms (on the west side). It seems to me that when booking a South Tower room via agoda, you end up in one of these lower level somewhat noisy rooms. At least that's been my experience now 3 times. When I've booked directly with the hotel, this has not been the case. Something to think about in the future. As for the rooms themself, this is old school Vegas. The rooms are basic and clean. The South Tower rooms are slightly larger and have refrigerators. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a decent, clean, no resort fee place to sleep then I'd definitely recommend the Four Queens. If you're looking for luxury, and high end comforts, go to Bellagio.

Great original hotel with history in downtown Las Vegas where it all began. Staff very friendly and helpful, I had a room on 7th floor with no view to speak of but a king bed in a quiet location on a non smoking floor which I had requested in my booking so I was very pleased. You have to request housekeeping which on a personal note I think is a good idea because it reduces wastage of excessive changes of towels and bedding which of course is better for the environment. You can request any additional items you need at reception ie coffee supplies, toiletries and fresh towels when required plus IMO it allows for more privacy. As a solo traveller I prefer not to have someone enter my room in my absence so this suited me. You can also request someone to collect any rubbish you accrue. The room itself was simply decorated but had all amenities ie safe, on demand tv, iron and ironing board and coffee maker with delicious coffee. There were toiletries in the bathroom which were very good. Obviously if you look closely you will see signs of wear and tear but when you consider the age of the hotel and price paid it’s understandable, afterall if you want 5 star ultra luxury you will need to dig deeper in your pockets to pay for it but I prefer a hotel with history and have more money to spend enjoying myself. Location, location, location Wow!! Right in the heart of the action, the deuce bus stop is one block away which you can hop on to take you southbound down the strip. (The deuce bus never used to come down to fremont street years ago so that’s a huge plus and I think they run 24 hours now). Casino is great albeit a little smoky at times but you can get that in all casinos but as it’s a smaller casino you notice it more however they keep the front doors open to try and keep an air flow through and I found the overwhelming smell of marijuana/weed/cannabis outside the casinos much worse than smoke inside…. That’s the side of Vegas I don’t like, since they legalized smoking the above in public the smell is so distinct and utterly repulsive 🤢 that it knocks me sick and unfortunately there does seem to be more homelessness and drug/alcohol abuse victims around the area but I never felt threatened at all, it was just sad to see and I gave all my purse of change etc as I was leaving to go back to the UK to a family with 2 children and a dog trying to find a room for the night. In summary, if you want to be in the action, stay in a good hotel with great staff and have fun on fremont street enjoying a more original vegas then choose the Four Queens! I didn’t win big (I play the slots) but I didn’t lose big either. Please be aware prices have risen considerably and minimum bets are a lot higher than they used to be so take with you what you’re prepared to lose and stick to your budget but I hope all who read this have good luck and win big!! Ps: Magnolias veranda in Four Queens and Binions cafe in their sister hotel across the road are great places to eat.
