Staff Made Our Stay”
We traveled as a group for the weekend, the hotel was perfect. The location was excellent, but the staff were amazing. There were two members of the team who stood out for our whole group and nothing was ever to much trouble - Walter (at Faces) who looked after us throughout the day and Samkelo (at Faces) who looked after us at night. Both were super pleasant and made our stay so memorable. But in all, the whole team were amazing.

I’ve been to many hotels around the world and this is 10 star. The service is above and beyond and the place is amazing and so safe The comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on and bathroom and room were oversized I could have a party in there not that I did Will definitely be staying here again or suggest u do if you come to Johannesburg. Just wow. Close to mall and pretty much everything 🙌🙌🙌

You can't go wrong here. The hotel may not be the newest, but it offers a 5-star experience at a reasonable price point, at a great location in Sandton. The beds are very comfortable, little noise in either direction, no people chatting in the parking lot (which wakes me up), good breakfast; a classic and quiet 5-star. It was my second stay. My only con is that the windows don't open, not even slightly, to get fresh air, like in many hotels in SA.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. The hotel provide a shuttle bus service to Mandela square which is a Pros. Breakfast with great variety.

Make sure you get your deposit back!”
This is more of a warning than a review as the Hilton Sandton is well located and within walking distance of a number of great restaurants. It’s easy to get to and close to the Gautrain station with a regular free shuttle service. The rooms are neat, the bed was comfortable (if you like a firm bed) and the staff are super friendly. BUT... be warned! When checking in they will put a hold on your credit card for an amount that is quite a bit more than the total cost of your stay, which isn’t the problem, the problem seems to be getting your deposit released... this seems to be a major headache! I have now waited 2 weeks and even after contacting the hotel and being promised that it would get released immediately, I am still waiting. So make sure you get the hold on your card lifted before you leave the hotel... otherwise a great stay will be ruined. I hope this ‘review’ helps someone else.

Clean room and delicious breakfast. Perhaps hotel should let people know times and location pick up at sandton station (perhaps a link with timetable). I was ripped off 100 rand by taxi driver for such a short ride. I couldn’t take Uber as my phone was down (average price 26 rand)
