Home away home”
I started the trip in Myanmer from this hotel and finished with this hotel. This hotel is right next to the Bahosi hospital. Shopping centre near by is very handy, basement floor has local market so you can order made local costume!! Fantastic value for money. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, I am so glad to stay this hotel, it made my trip to one of the best holiday. I loved the breakfast, the choice was nice and yum. Thank you for all the staff at Bahosi !

Very reasonable hotel”
This place is quite cheap for Yangon and I didn't have very high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very clean and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and the location was good, walkable to downtown. There's also a small food menu available all day.

Friendly very caring hotel”
This hotel is so special for me. WhenI arrived Yangon midnight , I found my baggage was left at transit Airport, So sad, but the hotel staff were taking care of me so well so I received the baggage at the bus station to go to Bagan !!Without their help, my trip was not as great. Highly recommend.

The Best Place to Stay”
This Hotel never Let me down in term of service and Food. This trip i have a chances to taste my favourite authentic Myanmar food call mohinga. 1 thing i think the hotel need to improve is, i saw some small ant around the table. That all..other than that is ok.

Bahosi hotel is my prefer choice each time i come to yangon. without fail i got to enjoy their warm hospitality. On my recent stay i think there is 2 think need to improve. 1st is the Wifi connection used to be good but now seem not so. always disconnect, i cant read my email and do my work. 2nd is breakfast...i wish there is mohinga. my recent visit they dont serve it...such a dissapointment. as 1 of the main reason i stay here is the mohinga. Thanks

Polite service, near Ten Mile Junction”
I have booked a deluxe room with an extra bed for 3 persons that made the room barely walkable around. So do note of the space constraints for family/group of 3 who is looking for big rooms But the toilet was very spacious. Overall, the stay was excellent; staff were polite and accommodating to our needs. Located 5 mins walking distance from Ten Mile Mall where you could go to the supermarket to get some bottled water. Breakfast was good too.

Recommended Hotel for explorers”
This is as good a hotel in Yangon as any you will find. Extremely clean, good TV, shower and aircon and above all, an excellent breakfast- there are about 12 different options, including Shan and American styles and choices of real fruit juice or coffee. A taxi to the Shewadagon Pagoda is about 2000 local, although we always haggled (start at 1000 and work your way up). The wifi was at times patchy, but this is a Yangon issue rather than the hotel. The convenience store next door, which is connected to the hotel via it's own door, is very useful for buying drinks and snacks. Finally, the hotel is about a 4 minute walk from a very good Shan restaurant called Shan Yoe Yar, currently in trip advisor's top 10 restaurants. This was our first destination after arriving and was a good education in local dishes set in a very fine environment.

Perfect location, wonderful staff.”
The location, the staff, the shower.
We spent two nights here at the end of a ten-day holiday in Myanmar and loved it. The location is perfect, near the National Museum and Shwedagon Pagoda (though not quite walking distance unless you are very fit; then again, Yangon is a city of 5 million people, so distances are long. However, our random sampling showed that c.30-40% of cars were taxis, so not problem there). The staff were exceptionally helpful, actually steering us away from one or two things we enquired about. They have good maps and guides available (free), the WiFi was good, both in the room and reception, and the room itself was good (the shower was exceptional: great temperature and very high pressure if you wanted). Possibly most amazing of all, there is a 24-hour supermarket next door which can be accessed through a door in the hotel lobby! The breakfast was fine though some dishes were not quite to our taste. However, they do the usual basic eggs and sausage or toast if you are not in a mood to experiment with Myanmar cuisine at that hour (coffee was good). At $50 per night, it was the most expensive place we stayed in in Myanmar but that is good value for Yangon, especially given the location.

Helpful staff, location near mall, clean
The best thing about the hotel is their helpful staff and speak English. Polite. There is a convenient stall at the lobby. And a mall nearby. Walking distance to China town which takes around 15-20 mins.

Surprised and not so pleasantly”
Hotel is an average 3 star in the middle of a grotty housing estate. Limited breakfast selection. We were held to account in reception for ‘dirtying’ a towel - which had a mascara mark on it - and told it could not be removed so we would be charged $5 My wife was furious at the treatment and took the towel back to our room, washed it with hand soap - stain removed and returned to Reception. No charge levied. Curious that Yangon hotels can charge as they do for average quality.

Cons: Very small and basic rooms with no frills. Breakfast is limited and fairly poor. Pros: The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. Overall, a decent, if simple, budget option for a day or two in Yangon.
