I didn't know what to expect when I stay at Kempinski but It was a great experience. I was attending my brother's wedding so staying at a comfortable hotel was important for me after all the preparation and the events. Staffs were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Breakfast was really great. If one thing I can complain is that the lobby seemed to be always crowded. I wasn't sure if they were guest hotel (doesn't look they were). They were also standing in front of the elevators. Other than that, 10/10 experience.

This is the second time I came back. Because of its strategic location, for those who wanted to experience the central part of Jakarta, this would be the perfect place to stay. Right by the heart of Bundaran HI, those who love to enjoy Car Free Day by the end of each month, this hotel is just a doorstep to join CFD. Howeverz if you are a foreigner and wants to just enjoy the hotel and its facilities, you may want to avoid end of the month visit as this hotel will be crowded with people staying toembrace CFD. You will have to queue for breakfast at the Signatures restaurant. Queueing will still be paid off because the options of breakfast are so varied. I esepecially love the pancake and bread station because they provided lots of jam options (looks like artisan selections) and royal jelly. Try ordered scramble eggs with cheese and ham, it was the best egg dish I had so far considering I like to try out different hotels for staycation. Coffee beans, this time, was a bit smoky which are quite common like other hotels. My husband said the previous one he tasted was more special. Other foods, like sushi, Indonesian prridge, dimsum and noodles, are good too. Thos who have children, yours will be spoiled because they do have ice cream station for breakfast. Swimming pool is okay - decent size, not too big. Those who like quietness may nit be keen to swim during high season because families with kids will dominate the pool. While our room didn’t have a view, it was one of the most peaceful hotel stays we’ve ever had. No street noise at all — just calm, quiet comfort right in the heart of the city. We also happened to stay during Car-Free Day, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around the area with our stroller.
