Comfortable hotel rooms but the appliances and furniture are a little worn. Breakfast was pretty good but the choices are quite limited. The pool is perfect for visitors who come with family. The hotel's location is not far from the beach. Many eateries/restaurants operate at night. Reasonable room rates for weekdays.

Breakfast was sooo bad”

Very little selection of food, for nasi lemak don't even have telur mata or ayam goreng.. Mee goreng was dry and hard... Roti bakar also don't have butter or jem... The service was also VERY bad... There is one kid throw up... But no staff come to clean it... The eating room was so small... Crowded... Bad experience and for sure never return

the room was so spacious. however the bathroom quiet small. the bfast was not so good. not too many choice, and the fries rice and fried me were so tasteless. i found LONG HAIR in the foods too. very dissapointed. hmmm

The room is in a good size. Everything was in good condition except for the air conditioner in our room. Other than that, the room is great. The bathroom is also great but the shower water was a bit slow. Love the swimming pool.

Value for money and great with kids”

Great location, friendly staff. Pool was dirty and the most dissapointing part was the breakfast. i brought my family to the cafe at 9am and the food runs out. only scraps of rice, and a bit here and there with some trays empty. Some came and left the place upon discovering the incomplete breakfast. Management need to take a serious look at this. It was my 2nd time at this hotel and will be my last.

Check in late at 5pm but room still not ready. They upgraded the room instead. Swimming pool just nice for the kids. Breakfast is so-so.. Nice surrounding, nearby beach and seafood restaurants. I love the idea of small stalls selling fruits, drinks and finger foods by the pool. Also the children songs for the entertainment. Thumbs up :)

positve - location easy to find - staff is friendly - parking lot is enough negative -phone not working - plug socket is only have 2 unit one is for tv and other one is broken and need to ask for extension plug. - toilet flush is not working have to use dustbin in bathroom as water cistern - not much place to seat during breakfast -breakfast is not variety need so much upgrade upgrade and regular maintenance check for each room before release the room for occupied

off the beaten track”

probably one of the first hotels in Bagan Lalang area. overall a bit dated, rooms could use a bit of freshening up. the family room is spacious, with a queen bed + single bed, with enough space for another extra single bed. breakfast was OK, typical spread for a budget hotel. the swimming pool has main pool (4 ft) and children pool. close to seafood restaurants (either walking distance or short drive).

Superb place for budget family vacation ”

My second visit here and this time I booked 5 rooms for our family vacation. I'm glad that every one of us really enjoy the stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and the elders enjoyed the beach which is just walking distance from the hotel. We definitely will come back again with a larger group. However the management needs to ensure that the rooms are available on time since during my both visits the rooms were still not ready after 3pm and we have to wait 1-2 hours to get the rooms.

Nice location and relaxing environment”

Room was equip with LCD tv with Astro channel. Location is convenient to nearby seafood store. Ample of parking lot is available. Clean swimming pool for kids. Bicycle is available for rent. However, breakfast was plain and not much variety.Good for short stay and family outing.

Excellent”

My first stay here and we waited for one and a half hour to get our rooms due to rooms not ready. If not that we kept pushing the staffs, we might have to wait longer than that, as other guests. However we loved the spacious family room and the large pool too. The location was great as it was only 3-4 minutes drive to the beach and the eateries. Will surely come back again despite my bad experience of the long wait (hope will improve).

so nice even i'm booked for last minutes. i asked the receptionist about extra mineral water. the staff hardly tried to find me the mineral water but no other stock. then they so kind to please me that they will send the mineral water to my room. about 15 minutes later, they already send my mineral water. they are very polite and so helpful staff. besides that, i think this hotel not really bad as others reviewed. i think there are just good enough with their facilities eventhough the furnitures looks old. but for me the kind and so helpful staffs make me fall in love with this hotel. actually i'm booked my room without breakfast but i think the price still reasonable with all the facilities .

Good budget hotel for the family”

There are only 2 good things about this hotel. 1. The price - for only RM120, I got a spacious room with 1 queen bed & 1 single bed, which includes feee breakfast for 3. However the room was quite dirty & the breakfast was not good. 2. The swimming pool - My children loved it and had so much fun Overall, U will get what U paid for. Cheap but at the price of service & cleanliness

Family Room: Two Sugar Sachets and One Syampoo ”

My Family Room Number is 202. The room is quite good cleanliness. But the toilet less cleanliness. The Warerheater Sprinkle Holder was lose. Need to hold by hand. The bowl like yelow colour. The breakfast was good. The housekeeping put 2 sachets sugar and one syampoo only into the family room.

Hotel Definitely Need a Refurbishment ”

I'd like the hotel location near to Bagan Lalang beach, seafood eatery, reception hotel staff are friendly and my kids love the swimming pool. BUT I strongly urge for Hotel Seri Malaysia Bagan Lalang's management to refurbish your hotel. Your room facilities is sucks!

Short escape ”

Clean and large room, come for short escape with children. My children like the swimming pool. Will definitely come again.
