Lively Red Light District of Shinjuku”
A great place to stay where there is always something to see. Styaing at this Hotel is worth the money. Considering that it's in Tokyo. The rooms are larger compared to most. It may ba a bit of a walk to and from the nearest subway station but the area is lively. You wouldn't have to worry about arriving late since there are 24 hour restaurants on top of the convenience stores near the area.
Good location ”
Good location and competitive price. Large room but small bed and hotel overall a bit dated.
Good location, clean hotel”
This hotel is situated within 10 minutes' walking distance from Shinjuku Station, and 5 minutes from the subway system entrances. The district is Kabukicho in Shinjuku, one of the bustling main entertainment areas in Tokyo. The road the hotel sits on is Kuyakshodori, the street where the Shinjuku Ward Office is located. By day it's good to walk for anyone, but by night Kabukicho transforms into its 'Mr Hyde' mode, so young families might want to avoid wandering the streets at night, or their education might receive an 'interesting' boost regarding night clubs and drinking spots:) The hotel itself is excellent value for money. Better to book via Agoda, because the rates are excellent. The rooms are clean, and nonsmoking floors are available. There is a convenience store right next to the hotel where snacks and beverages can be bought, because there is no minibar in the room although there is a working fridge. The reception staff are very helpful, and speak English . Highly recommended!
Good location but little else”
This is our 4th trip to Tokyo and apart from Good location but that is about all the positives. Very dated furnishings and stained or torn which need replacing. Outside noise can be heard as windows not soundproof like most hotels. Rooms have thin walls so can hear people in next room. Cleaning not done throughout our 5 day stay so no clean towels, bedsheets or rubbish collected. Will not be recommending or staying here again.
Hotel needs a major upgrade”
Required a major refurbishment, very uncomfortable beds , water pressure in wc is very low, In room No instruction in English, difficult to international traveler , specially how to operate AC, housekeeping has done a good job , how ever some areas need attention, full of dust and falling out Not recommended for the price
Great location worth the price ”
It was a really nice stay in hotel Siena, near to the shinjuku station, a lot of shops and restaurant just nearby the hotel. Clean room and helpful staff!
location no bad”
room big and the location ok
Top Hotel in a great location ”
perfect location in the heart of this busy part of Tokyo in walking distance to Shinjuku Station - room had everything what we wished - will stay there definitely again
Great place to stay in Shinjuku ”
Close to various public transport, food and entertainment.
God value for money”
First off, value for money is very good, and the nonsmoking rooms are free from any odours suggestive of having been doused in a powerful commercial cleaner, in other words, truly smoke-free. In addition, the rooms are of a reasonable size, and well-maintained. There is no breakfast or minibar although there is a fridge which the canny traveller can fill with their own collection of goodies purchased (much les expensively than the usual minibar) at the convenience store right next door to the hotel. Check-in time (15:00) and check-out time (11:00) are strictly maintained, although half-hour extensions can be organized at ¥1,500 each. Those travelling with families, or those of a slightly nervous disposition should however note that the Hotel Siena is in Shinjuku's Kabuki-cho, the well-known 'underbelly' of Shinjuku, which springs to raucous life at night. This, however, might in fact be an attraction for some!
Hotel was in a great location, right on the edge of Kabukicho district. There are tons of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as many clubs. The hotel itself was OK, the room was decent though bit old. Overall it was worth the money and the location is great if you want to be near the Kabukicho area.
Good Location, worth for money”
Good Location, worth for money, the size of the room is reasonable, not too small, the facilities inside the room is good. The air conditioner is controlled by central, cannot customized based on the individual needs.
one of the best hotels during our japan trip”
It was definitely the best hotel during our trip. It wasn't the cheapest yet it was the best and value for money for its location and room quality. i was surprised. Check in time is at 3 which is a little late but is ok. location is extremely good. room toilets are pleasant to use.
Spacious rooms, located in a heart of Shinjuku”
the hotel location is great. really close to station, uniqro, isetan, marui, takashimaya, game centre, and restarurants. the room is spacious compare to other japanese hotel I stayed... The surrounding a little bit noisy but that doesnt really bother my sleep. The downside is the hotel doesn't provide wifi at all. It's in Tokyo however no WIFI.... too bad... the hotel isnt recommended for family due to its location really near to the red light district.
Hotel in Kabuchio, Shinjuku ”
Staff waa helpful and friendly. They alowed us to leave our luggage with them so that we could travel light to Hakone.. The hotel is in their red light district and there were partying in the middle of some nights. not suitable for light sleepers n young children. Great location with a short walk to Shinjuku Station.
Convenient to the reataurants and family mart but was noisy due to the location as the room is not sound proof. Otherthan that, the room is clean and decent for solo traveller.
No Room Service”
There was no room cleaning services on the 2nd day of stay.
The hotel is a bit far from railway station, but there have a various Japanese restaurants to choose”
If you really like to stay in the busy area and no more other requests, then you can choose this hotel.
Too bad all thing”
Old building and not good town. Around Host bar many. Too much far from Shinjuku station. Hotel old and cold and can't see nothing throw window.
