Beautifully located hotel”
The location is perfect. Spacious modern rooms, comfortable bed. I had a harbor view room and could watch the light show right from the room. Rich breakfast. The only minus is the higher price for accommodation
A great location with a wonderful view.”
The location is unique as it provides spectacular views from the suites without having to be on a high floor. The location is exceptional for TST and very convenient for MTR access to Admiralty and Central. We were in a Junior Suite. It was well laid out with a great bathroom. Staff was helpful and facilities good. Surprisingly quiet for being so in the center of things. Overall what you'd expect from an Intercontinental.
Breakfast is fantastic! Excellent choices. Room is big and clean. We checked in on my son’s birthday and the hotel gave a complimentary delicious chocolate birthday cake. My only complain is that there was no bidet.
Words can't explain how excellent it was while I am staying here. Located in good locations and staffs were active in assisting without asking. Breakfast was a blast! Stayed in Harbour View Deluxe, big room big view just loving it
Excellent stay! ”
Excellent stay! Late check in (room is not ready yet) but we didn’t mind, you can walk outside to shops or use the very big lobby & stay and have coffee in their restaurant (w/c they offered welcome coffee or drinks of choice) . Were also given free buffet breakfast for the delay, and breakfast was amazing, excellent experience!! Very good view of the harbor and excellent food and coffee, I cannot ask for more.Rooms are clean and spacious . Thank you to all the staff of Intercontinental HK, you have made our ( my daughter and I) stay so very wonderful, will definitely go back again and again.
Great view of the Victoria Harbour...”
but service has deteriorated significantly since the late 1990s which to be fair, coincided with the fall in civility of the guests.

Very nice staff ”
I would like to thank Mr. Arthur Lua and Miss Catherine Gilroy for their unique professional job at both check in & check out process, it is one of the smoothest check in / check out I ever had it in any other hotel. Thanks a lot .
Great staff and amazoing views over the harbour”
However, after check out (they confirmed that there would be no charge and no receipt for that), I was charged with a mini bar for HKD $100 even I didn't touch anything other than complimentary bottle of water, so please be careful. I had to send a few emails and made several phone calls to resolve the issue. The refund has not been made yet.
Amazing View of Victoria Harbour”
When I traveled to Hong Kong this summer, I stayed at Intercontinental Hong Kong. Intercontinental Hong Kong's location is very near from MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J2. Overall I am very satisfied with the services given by the staff at the front desk. They are very helpful. At the first day I stay there, I can enjoy free welcome drink at the hotel's lounge and we can see the amazing view of Victoria Harbour. I could choose some of drink and i decided to drink red wine and white wine. And I get free membership of Intercontinental around the world and get free voucher for buffet at Intercon Taipei and China. The room is large and cozy with twin beds. The bathroom is very comfortable. I was very enjoy staying at Intercontinental HK and will stay again when I visit HK.
Fantastic view with nice room. ”
It’s 5 star hotel although interiors need to be renovated, harbor view was great. And the staffs are very helpful. Especially Mr. YUN at FO was great. I’ll defenitly visit there again. I was quite disappoint with Club intercontinental tea time coz not much beverages at that time. So I skip the cocktail and breakfast.
The location is top notch. Get harbour view room for a stunning view from your room. The staffs was helpfull in so many ways. They are the true assets of the hotel. Breakfast quality is excellent, but the option is quite limited. I really like the turn down service
Great view, concierge and comfortable rooms ”
Let's start with the cons. No free wifi!! In these day of age and technology. Expensive restaurants and dining. Charged us for minibar drinks that we did not consume and told a friend who came to visit that we were in a different hotel although she had called us earlier at our room. Now pros. Great view of the harbour. Watch the ships and ferries go by. Conceirge is just awesome they were extremely helpful the guys at the door. Helped with taxis, our kids and bags all the time. The rooms are ok well equipped. Could be a bit more modern but it was comfy. Dining is extremely expensive in this hotel. But then so are most things in HK.
Best hotel for fireworks view and food”
Has the best fireworks view. Great selection of food. We had dinner in the hotel for all of our 3 nights stay. Due to the fireworks night, we couldn't get a table at the steakhouse which was a disappointment. Overall their service staff in the restaurant were very attentive. Impressed by their service standard.
The InterCon charges a premium and they deliver. All the frills you expect from an international 5 star and service to match. If you're the type of traveler who stays at this tier, you won't be disappointed.
Best birthday party at Intercontinental Hong Kong Hotel”
Excellent staffs which are very helpful and attentive. We got an upgrade to Harbour View room in which the view is overwhelming. We would like to thank you the hotel for this surprise gift. The pool is incredibly beautiful with view across the Victoria Harbour. One minor downside during our stay is that there are constructions on both side of the hotel but the hotel staffs already ask for excuse in the first place and even upgrade our room to avoid the construction view. The food is delicious and variety. Location nearby a lot of shopping malls and main road. In conclusion, it is a must to choose this hotel for couples and hopefully we will have a chance to get back here soon!
The best hotel for family”
Great hotel in hongkong, but staff cafe in near lobby is not polite. first she ask I am guest hotel ? Second she ask my room number? I said yes I am ur guest hotel and I told her my room number. She told me the cafe have minimum charge for dinner. 260 hkg dollar for per person. And Tommorow I have dinner in same cafe and no minimum charge for dinner. maybe because we are from disneyland and our clothes not so formal for dinner at lobby cafe. But for 5 star hotel can not do their guest like her. For all other thing intercotinental is best hotel.
The staff were excellent. Very clean. No problems with the rooms. The breakfast buffet was acceptable (but I would not say excellent). The lunch buffet (all you can drink wines/beer/other) was also very good. The check in was very quick, and check out just as smooth. The pool was clean, well maintained, and the staff around the pool were very attentive. Overall, great experience and I will stay there again.
Good hotel , classic 5stars”
overall a good stay, good view of the harbour & attentive staff. nearby the airport shuttlebus. only thing i could complain is that the hotel is built on a slope, had hard time pulling my big luggage up as i was taking the airport shuttle when i arrived.
Took the family for Xmas in HK. Book 2 rooms with harbour views; got upgraded one from had 7m window looking right side of HK island The other had 14m of window over looking the left side of HK island. Electric everything in the rooms; food was sumptuous. Location means everything is nearby even if it's by Ferry or Metro Could not wish for a better Xmas
