Intercontinental London - The O2
Great location for the O2.”
Ideal for the O2. High quality in every detail but very expensive. You can get the same quality at other hotels for a cheaper price. You are paying for the location. The walkway to the O2 gives the impression it is a link directly into the arena. In reality it is a corridor from the lobby to the rear of the hotel into the outer part of the O2.
Fantastic hotel perfect for attending O2”
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, spotless room, amazing view, perfect bed, fantastic breakfast, awesome bar, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and our stay there- we went to see Hugh Jackman at the O2 and as fantastic as he was it was the hotel that made the weekend for us. As soon as we came out of the underground station we were pointed in the direction of the shuttle that took us straight to the hotel and ‘big steve’ set a very high bar that was subsequently matched by every member of staff we dealt with. They were all genuinely interested in why we were there and clearly wanted to make our visit the best it could be- and very proud of their hotel, and rightly so. The room and facilities were comfortable, classy and clean. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go again.
Although its located at Greenwich which is quite far from central London, its just 5-10 mins walk from tube station. The room is bigger than most of other London hotels. Toilet is spacious with all the amenities provided. There are many restaurants in O2 arena but lack of convenience store (one near tube station).
Lovely hotel, excellent location, great room, literally the only downside was the cost of drinks in the bar. Appreciate paying a little extra than normal in a hotel like this but £30 for 2 drinks was so ridiculous it was actually funny. Despite this though we’d defiantly stay again.
You get what you pay for.”
Clearly from the moment you arrive you realise this is a very good quality hotel with great staff, the location is great for the O2 and attractions near by, and not to far to get into the centre of London with the tube a 3 minute walk. I believe we got what we paid for, very good but not exceptional.
I booked the stay as a surprise for my partner 30th birthday and our room was upgraded. Very friendly and attentive staff, we had few hiccups in the Market Brassiere and clippers bar but it was sorted out there and then.
We booked early so for the price paid it was amazing & 10/10. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. We were upgraded & had views of The O2 & Canary Wharf, stunning! They also left a tasty cake in the room for us with happy anniversary which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious & vast. Would definitely stay here again !
Fantastic experience ”
The hotel is easy to find and all the staff are really approachable. I’ve never stayed so close to the o2, that in itself made the experience way more enjoyable. The hotel room was clean and modern and well equipped with anything we could have needed. I will definitely be staying there again
Graeat stay at the Intercontinental , superb position next to the O2 by the Thames. Lovely room on the 14th floor overlooking the Thames. Comfortable bed , great shower everything you could need in the room. We had a swim / jacuzzi and steam in the spa which was really nice before going to breakfast which was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
Fabulous hotel, great spa, welcoming and friendly staff”
We stayed in a superior room which was perfect, gorgeous bed and pillows, great bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, would definitely recommend it. As we checked out we were offered a free shuttle to the station which was a nice treat for the start of our journey home
Staff were very polite and helpful and breakfast was the best we’ve had staying at any hotel in London. Great choice and very handy location for the concert at the O2.
Perfect for a visit to the O2. That's all that need saying. Could mention loads of Designer Outlets as well!
The room that Georgina from reception gave us was excellent ,veiw of the River Thames was perfect ”
It would be better if breakfast was always included, as we did not have breakfast
Clean hotel, convenient location to O2, but disappointed room facility.”
Aircon doesn’t work properly, set the temperature to the maximum 24 degrees, but still feel cold. Same with the hot water, it’s not hot enough. In room coffee machine didn’t work at all, but couldn’t be bothered to call the room services. A bit disappoint by the 5-star standards.
the hotel experience”
It was a good experience, the staff were friendly. The hotel was big and it looked very nice the breakfast was nice also. There was an initial mix up with the room but after that was sorted out (fast) the experience was highly enjoyable I'd go again.
Excellent hotel in a great location”
Perfect location for events at 02. Nice clean room, comfy bed and great view of the river. Bar prices for drinks and snacks overly expensive. Great to have Rob give complimentary lift to station.
Excellent all round”
Friendliness of staff
Luxury all the way”
Fantastic hotel. Great room, fabulous bathroom (fluffy towels and robes), delicious breakfast and facilities were spot on. Easy access for O2. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Swimming pool was closed and the view of the room was a building site. ”
Thai is the fourth time we stayed in O2intercontinental. We loved it so much that we’d even took our baby with us this time. However, it disappointed us this time. We were told there would be a cot bed in the room but it was never there. The view of our room was a construction site and builders were right outside of our windows. We had to have the curtains the whole time. I was there especially for the spa and swimming pool but it was closed when I planned my morning to go swimming.
BEST HOTEL NEAREST TO O2”
Very conveniently located if attending any event at O2 London
