Great location and clean”

Location, price, clean

I stayed over at Iris Garden Hotel Bukit Bintang with my adult daughter and we've gotten room number 207. We were surprised to see the room very clean when we've entered it. We had expected it to be very small from the looks of it on the website but it turns out quite spacey. The bed was made and everything was tidy. Toiletries were provided although you'll have to ask for towels at the receptionist. The room had a slight distinctive smell of smoke from the previous user but other than that, the room was splendid. The location was great as it has a drug store, Guardian, right under Iris Garden hotel where you can purchase medicine or toiletries and such. A mall namely Sungai Wang, where you can buy almost everything from clothes to gadgets at a low price, is only a couple of minutes away. The KL Monorail is only a good 5 minutes walk. The famous culinary road, Ah lor street, is only 100 meters ahead of the hotel, you can access this street from a small alley way where people often pass by. There are many food surrounding this area as well. In other words, this hotel has a very easy access to go anywhere. Despite all the pros, don't expect a quiet stay since you can basically hear almost everything going on in and out of the hotel. It's not exactly a quiet place. Other than that, all is great.

Great staff, clean rooms, great price”

Great Price, Great Location, Super friendly and accommodating staff

Spent very little time in the room but it was clean, comfortable and the location was par none. the staff were amazing. I can't say enough about them, a 5-star hotel would be lucky to have staff like those at Iris Garden. The room was a bit small, but what more can you expect for that price and location? Probably one of the best deals for a room in Bukit Bintang, but be forewarned...the bands in the street behind the hotel can be quite loud. On the whole, I would certainly recommend the hotel to my friend as a great place to crash while in KL.

Highly entertained location”

Located at Bukit Bintang street

Bukit Bintang street almost means street that never sleep. People came from everywhere either for some business or just for spending leisure time. Many stores selling different kind of stuffs make this street more interesting. Iris Garden location is surrounded by many shopping mall. With clean room and easy access to have all things you need to buy or eat, make this hotel become tourists targets for spending nights. Walk couple minutes and you will reach Monorail station, which could take you exploring the rest of Kuala Lumpur.

A great choice in Bukit Bintang”

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Clean Room

My friends told me that a lot of Indonesian people stayed at Iris Garden Hotel because of the location, the cleanliness, and the price (obviously, very affordable). I love how friendly the staff is, and the location is in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Only 3 mins walk to Pavilion, Fahrenheit88, Lot10 - yes, where all the fashion stalls gathered! Worth it.

Located in the heart of Bukit Bintang ”

For a budget hotel it's value for money. Booked a standard room with city view but as there had been a misunderstanding while booking, the manager who happened to be a very nice lady, personally offered to upgrade the room to a family room with front city view for 3 nights at no additional cost and then at a discounted price for the remaining days - booked for 15 nights. The staff was cool and very helpful - a special thanks to the guy at the front desk. Hotel was clean - room service available on request. Hot water and AC were great. It's a highly recommended place for those who want a safe and clean place to stay in the very middle of everything in bukit bintang. Food, transport, shopping, money changers and everything at walking distance. Will definitely book the same hotel next time i'll visit KL.

Love this place”

business points around

I do like the hotel. I come to Kuala Lumpur with my family. We're 5 person. I choose Twin room with 2 twin bedroom. This rrom can fixed us, and we still felt comfortable because this room is very big. The accomodation is fully furnished. It is very clean and I do like the outside varanda...I mean the entrance is very wide. The air conditioner is well functioned, and the wi-fi too. The place is suitable for everyone, for example business, shopping, entertainment and everything needed are there. The hotel is situated in the center of Kuala Lumpur, near to shopping center for example Sungai Wang, Lot 10...and most easier is near to Monorail, the cheapest transport to go way round Kuala Lumpur. I hope in other day, if I come to Kuala Lumpur, this hotel remains its facilities and condition.

excellently placed hotel in the heart of KL downtown Bukit Bintang. Shopping, eating, nightlife, tourist landmarks are all within walking distance. Take advantage of the FREE bus shuttle services close to the hotel to all the major sites (blue, green & purple bus lines, Enquire) Jalan Alor for all your foodie heaven treats. The rooms were bigger that expected with all your basic needs like hot water rain showers, fridge, A/C etc. Very comfortable big bed with fresh cotton bed linen & fluffy pillows. Nothing fancy, but great value for what you pay. This was my 4th stay at this wonderful low/med range Hotel & I would recommend it to anyone who is not fussy, who would love a great location close to everything or free bus rides with fab customer service by all the staff.

Location, affordable price, friendly staff

A budget hotel in busy Bukit Bintang area, clean and cozy room, fast checking (need RM50 deposit), safe card access room door, staff was friendly to chat with, staff was happy to provide extra bath towel (only 1 in my room) right away when requested, taxis everywhere in front of the hotel. The only negative part was the noise, you can easily hear people walking and talking from the corridor, toilet flushing noise from the room above (need to close your bathroom door to minimize it), and music/karaoke from pubs nearby.

Very accommodating hotel”

very close to the city

We came so early to KL from Singapore and we were so happy that Iris Hotel's staff allowed us to check-in even the standard check-in time is 12noon. It was first time of my children to visit KL and they were not disappointed on the their first day. Early check-in gave us the opportunity to rest and refresh before exploring the beauty of Kuala Lumpur City. Since it was so early in the morning around 5am, I don't have yet Malaysian Ringit and hotel required refundable deposit but still the hotel allowed us to check-in without it. It was so great to arrange our hotel reservation in this kind of hotel, very accommodating and flexible. They understood the situation of the guests unlike other hotel, they are very strict to follow the policy of the hotel even the room is available. They know how to take care of their guests. Internet connection is so fast. Great stayed in this hotel.

Nice hotel”

Clean & great location

The location of this hotel is great, very near eating and shopping places along the Bukit Bintang Street. However there is a pub opposite and on the side of the hotel and at around past midnight there was still music from the live band. Other than that it is a good place to stay .Location is very good as all the shopping mall and food street is within walking distance, the bed is huge that 3 person can sleep on the queen bed. The cons is that once you leave the room, the fridge will be off as well and if you put lots of water inside the fridge, the water inside the fridge will all leak out. There's many ants around too.

Great location. Within short walking distance to mrt and most shopping malls/eateries. Room clean, reasonable size cannot complain with king size bed very comfortable for 2 person. Best can refill water on the first floor besides 2 bottles mineral water in the room ....how many times you want! Not so good - got to pay a small deposit for iron, hair dryer, kettle jug but i get refunded the minute i return the items. ok i think. Staff very helpful. Worth the stay for the price at Bukit Bintang area.

Friendly staff speak English well as most businesses in Bukit Bintang, 100 meters to open air restaurants that are awesome, 50 meters to breakfast/lunch restaurants, Indian, Lebanese, Syrian, Mexican, American and Egyptian restaurants within walking distance, clean economy hotel at mid range price which is excellent for the location, shopping and nightlife for those who like, safe tourist area with some hawkers but not bothersome. Bussed in from Penang in luxury bus for 40 RM per person and arrived at bus station only 1/2 kl from the hotel. Great for singles, couples and families.

The Best of Basics”

Accessibilty, Cleaniness and comfort

I chose this hotel because my friends and I are not fussy people. In terms of accessibilty, this hotel is bar none. Just a 3 minute walk from the Bukit Bintang Monorail station. Furthermore, it was only a one night stay so it did not matter if the hotel lacked amenities. The rooms are the smallest of any hotel i've ever been to. But it works because i did not want anything else other than a comfortable bed, a working shower and a TV with a good selection of channels. The hotel delivered all three of my requirements with ace. Overall, this is definitely the best value for money hotel in the KL/Bukit Bintang area

Friendly front desk staff

Hotel is right above Guardian pharmacy shophouse. You will need to standby RM$50 for deposit. They will pass you remote control for air condition & TV. Refund will be done when you checkout & return both the remote controllers. Reception desk is at 2nd level of the shop house. There is a small enquiry desk at level 1 but it was unmanned most of the time which also means that intruders can access hotel undetected. I had no problem with the noises from the clubs since the nice chinese lady boss gave me a room away from the back. Back row rooms are closer to the clubs so it could be rather noisy. The walls are rather thin, so if your neighbours shuts the doors or bath you can actually hear them. Good air condition & rain shower. Many rooms have corridor facing windows. Rooms are with tap card access. Limited TV Channels available, I personally watched the entire series of Rocky Balboa on HBO zzzzz. Many massage centers downstairs. No cafes within the compound but there are many good food on the next street. They have a cheaper sister hotel call Bintang Garden down afew shops down the street. The Iris hotel meets all my basic needs, I'll go back if I go KL again.

Light room, waterfall shower, great location, attentive staff

We stayed in this hotel for one week. The first room was not really what we wanted as it didn't have a window as well as the fact that the bed sheets were dirty and the room attendant used our towel to clean the floor without replacing it with a new one (if I wouldn't ask for a new one). The second room which we got the next day was on the back of the hotel with window and it was slightly bigger as well. The bathroom was simple, but clean and comfortable with a proper shower. The hotel was in the middle of Bukit Bintang, so we were just one step away from all the small restaurants and shops.
