Pros: - Good air conditioning - Location on door step of Rynek Glowny (Prague old square) - Able to store luggage before and after check in - Kindly let us use bathroom to freshen up before and after check in - Really lovely restaurant area where we had breakfast Cons: - Odd positioning of shower/bathtub in bathroom, couldn't prevent getting whole of bathroom floor wet

5-star hotel”

The staff are very nice and cheerful. The room is spacious with all facilities I need. It’s totally out of my expectation. Location is good, only 5 mins walk to the metro. Breakfast is included in my room rate and was great too.

Very good”

Location is great. Room is really comfortable and is as per photos. Hotel lift doesn't reaches all rooms though. Would need to still climb stairs to reach most rooms, but the staff are all so helpful to carry for you the luggages. The only disappointment i have is with the hotel's Deer Restaurant. Staff attitude is real bad, especially the young blond girl, so decided to just walk out of the restaurant. There are plenty of eateries around.

Perfect hotel for perfect Praha”

Now I am staying this mavellous hotel with my mom and everything is going perfect. Position is good to old town/and Carles bridge both. The hotel manager and all the staff are super kind and nice. I hope to be perfect untill tomorrow check-out and already miss here. 대박 좋음 가세요 두번가세요!!!

Brilliant location in atmospheric building”

We had a junior suite which was spacious and very comfortable. Hotel reception helpful with information etc. Deer Restaurant on premises. Good food at reasonable prices. Hotel in centre of everything but no vehicles in surrounding pedestrian streets so relatively quiet. Highly recommended.

Superb hotel. Very well located to see all of the sights of Prague by foot. The staff were extremely helpful and the cost of a suite was very reasonable. Restaruant had a good choice of food. Will stay here again when back in Prague.

Not worth the money”

Perfect location. Room is spacious but pretty old. Design of the bathtub makes it impossible to take a shower without a flood. During our stay, we were waken up early in the morning by the construction work in another room. Had to bear the smell as well. A bit disappointed for this price when all these things add up.

Prague in February”

This trip was part of my Wife's Christmas present. The location is excellent, within the Old Town, just a short walk (2 mins) from the Astronomical Clock. The hotel is beautiful with the superior room being spacious, well decorated and comfy. The staff are friendly and can't do enough to make your stay first class. Didn't eat in the restaurant other than breakfast where there was plenty of choice and regularly re-stocked by the staff. Plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach, cheaper to eat "off the square" and experience "the local" dishes, flavours and beers. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A great wee place!”

All was great here, the staff, the food, the rooms ....everything............ and tucked away beautifully from the street noise. 2 minutes from the Old Town. Perfect!! Thank you Iron Gates, you were wonderful! Thanks, especially to Jan and Patrick, we love you!!!!!!!

Perfect in every way ”

Absolutely love this hotel, so much so that this is our 6th visit. The hotel gives you the wow factor from the moment you walk in to the Reception. The rooms are amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect right by Old Town Square and close enough to walk to all the places you want to visit. Can't wait to come back next year.

Booked the Presidential Suite felt like a peasant”

This was the third time we traveled to Prague, Hotel staff not very welcoming, on the second day we called TWICE (First time on the morning and second time on the evening) asking for room service that DID NOT COME, it came only on the one time we were in the room, The bed was very uncomfortable, there was always noises from all sides of the room, loud foot steps from above and even loud drilling and hammer noises just beside us, When calling the lobby to report that they did not even know about that they called me 3 hours later that the room next door is in maintainance, The worst thing was that to get to the suites of the hotel you have to walk through the hotel restaurant, This was very unpleasan, If you book this hotel do not book the suites they are big but that's about it. I have two positive things to say,the location was perfect, Minimum walking distance to everywhere, The breakfast was very good, wide selection and tastes great.

Excellent choice”

Hotel is steps from old city square. We upgraded our room (stayed in #6) beautiful room, bed very comfortable, spotless clean. Only negative is bathtub is quite high and not so easy to get in and out of if your short or not so agile. Water pressure great. Breakfast very good. An excellent choice.

Very charming place”

This hotel is a gem, in the middle of the old town. Beatifully decoratwd, good breakfast, large suite with 2 bathrooms, clean. We had initially some issues with no heating in the room, upon arrival, but the staff fixed it that same day. Sometimes we found communicating with the staff a bit difficult, but they were making an effort. Recommend it for both families and couples.

The whole hotel is magical, Medievally mysterious, and friendly .I took advantage of its link to UPrince hotel and its fabulous terace restaurant on the roof with great vistas over Prague

Walking distance to main attractions ”

You may need to walk a bit if you take a taxi to the hotel as the entrance is at the pedestrian area. Overall, the stay was pretty good and we enjoyed it.
