Beautiful resort at quiet end of party strip”
The rooms, cleanliness, food & staff were second to none, the 2 bedroom villa (Cempuka) looked even better than photos on internet. Our brekkie & dinner meal we had there was fantastic and they came to our rooms each evening to put mossie coils & pool cushions away. The private pool was lovely but maybe a little tired (couple of tiles missing) they were re doing pool next door so maybe they are fixing them all, but would definateley stay here again, beautiful 3 night stay. Thank you Ko Ko Mo
Amazing holiday in paradise”
We stayed 3 nights in Villa Alamanda and truly enjoyed our time! This cozy hotel is conveniently located a bit away from hustle and bustle of Gili party area, but still close enough to all shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Restaurant food was delicious. Perfect holiday overall!! Things to improve: - the AC in our room was quite old - bikes for rent are all rusty and old Special thanks to GiliGetaway boat service (owned by Kokomo)! Great, very well organized, comfortable transfer from Gili to Serangan port! Totally worth it!!
This place is an idyllic oasis in the craziness that Gili T has become. This is now a party Island but he privacy and comfort at Kokomo means ou could be a million miles away. The Sakura two bedroom villa was exquisite, I loved it and all the 2 bed villas seemed similarly large and well appointed. Loved that there were no walls but bugs were never a problem and he fans kept the lounge cool. Service was super attentive and friendly. Slightly inconsistent housekeeping from mid stay inwards (6 nights) but I cannot recommend this place enough if you must go to Gili T. I prefer the calm of Gili air or Gili Meno but there were not hotel as good quality as Kokomo on either of those islands. Restaurant we great too
Great relaxing stay.”
My stay at Kokomo was great! The staff were extremely lovely and helpful. The Kokomo restaurant has unbeatable views and it is a great swimming spot. The food and cocktails were also delicious and well priced. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING. The best breakfast that I had in my whole stay in Bali. I liked that Kokomo was far enough from the main hub of Gili T to get away from all of the people but all the restaurants and bars are only a short bike ride away. We stayed in the 2 bedroom vila with another couple. The villa is very comfortable with the air-conditioning working well and all the facilities are well maintained. The beds are comfortable. The shower was good but it takes a while for the hot water to heat up. There are just a couple areas were I was let down. I asked for a towel at night time as I was out of fresh towels and it took them 20 minutes. I did feel that this was too long as the resort isn't big so staff didn't have to walk very far. I called the reception to remind them about the towel and it took them less than a minute to bring to me. Secondly, we ordered massages through the hotel. Even though they don't have internal spa facilities, they were kind enough to outsource the massage and have them come to our room. My partner had a very good massage however mine was average at best. It was inconsistent. The massage was taken on the bed and floor of our room. I feel if they are to call themselves a 5 star hotel they should have internal spa facilities or at least a proper massage table so when they outsource them we have something a bit more comfortable to lay on. We hired 2 bikes to ride around the island. This is a great activity to do! We paid 40,000 INR per day each for the bikes (80,000 INR) which I felt was a bit expensive if you compare to hiring mopeds back on the mainland of Bali for 50,000 INR per day. Still cheap on Aussie standards. Overall though I would come back to stay here for sure I do highly recommend this place.
friendly staff and amazing resort”
Because we stayed in villa so there was no window for living room. it was rainy at first night and suddendly came out a lots of insects and floor was wet. when we call the staff to clean it, they were high efficiency and good quality service which I have ever seen before. The villa we stayed has own swimming pool and very wide bathroom. I'm asure I will come back to stay at this hotel again.
Nice and Quiet”
Love this place! Stayed here for my 30th...close enough to where the action is but far enough that you are not in the thick of things!
Lovely place with very helpful staff
We were very impressed with Kokomo. The staff was very welcoming from the moment we were picked up from the ferry till the moment we left. They upgraded us to a larger villa since one was available, free of charge - a nice gesture, and when small ordinary questions or concerns would arise, they were extremely quick to answer and resolve. Would definitely recommend, and hope to stay there again someday.
Fantastic villas with impeccable staff”
Such a brilliant location, close enough to all the action but far enough away to not suffer from the noise of the nightlife. Real attention to detail from the staff. Delicious food and well kept villas. The only improvement I could suggest is to provide guests with bicycles, otherwise this is a fantastic place to stay.
Kokomo Resort simply made our Stay on Gili T! We had stayed at an alternate villa for the first night and were looking to move from this Villa . I went to Kokomo Villa myself and checked through the rooms. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. I booked right away and we moved into our new villa that morning. We were a group of 3 and the villa having seen our struggles wanted us to have the most pleasant stay and upgraded us to the 3 bedroom villa free of charge. It was simply breathtaking. We had a beach front view, great location on the main strip, breakfast ordered and delivered to our room and all the staff ready to help and so friendly and accommodating. I cannot more highly recommend this villa and it truely made our stay on Gili T unforgettable.
Amazing place to stay”
This resort was amazing. Not only was it beautiful the staff were incredible. Always looking for what they could do to make our stay better. Getting greeted by a “Good Day Mr.Andrew” as soon as I set foot out of the villa always mad me feel good. The restaurant was fantastic, we never had a meal that we weren’t impressed by, and they delivered right to our villas table by an army of staff. The beach front was also spectacular, with table settings for dinners on the beach and beach chairs for relaxing. If I had a single con it would be that my bed was a little firm, but that’s just personal prefence. Others in the group liked the firm beds. Also the pool in Villa Penya was quite deep, so parents with small children would have to keep a very watchful eye. For the group of us grown adult children it was great haha
good location, nice staff!! Breakfast on bed is awesome! Hospitality of staffs is impressive...offer to take pics for us from time to time(good phototaking skill indeed). Good choice for a bunch of friends..can party all day long with private pool.
Not value for money”
Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly and approachable, but was disappointed with the room compared to the price paid. Pool was really small for the 1-bedroom villa and it didn't look very clean so we didn't use it. With the price paid, I would have preferred staying elsewhere. Only pros were the toilet as it was big and spacious, the bed which was soft.
Look No Further...!”
Brilliant location on Gili T, just far enough away from the hustle. Beach front is amazing. We were lucky enough to find turtles whilst snorkelling just off shore... Managed to catch dengue fever during my travels but this was no fault of the hotels and they looked after me well with free chicken soup made at my request! We stayed in Villa Alamanda. Was decent. Good place. Friendly staff.
I was here with 3 girlfriends for hens getaway. We love our stay here with amazing private pool. You could just spend your morning or night chilling at the villa and poolside. You can choose your breakfast venue to be at the beach side, or in your own villa, both options are great. Staff are helpful and friendly too. The location of villa is very convenient, just a few minutes to spa, restaurants and other water activities.
Best villa of the holiday ”
Breakfast is amazing! Even when the beach washed up through the dining area it couldn't ruin it. We stayed in villa Ganesha and it was beautiful. The pool was stunning. Villa was just the right size and the master bathroom was absolutely stunning. Big stone bath. Room service was great. Excellent location just a short stroll to all the action and walkable from the Pier. The island is absolutely stunning. We were also able to hire bikes for the day which is highly recommended. When I return to Gili T I will definitely be staying at Kokomo!
Nice place but lacking in a few things”
We stayed at Villa Hijau. It is close to the restaurant, so the outside area of the villa constantly smells of cooking kitchen. After the rain overnight, they took the sofa beds of the lounge chairs and never replace them, so we can't use the sun lounge chairs...xmas dinner - the restaurant was fully booked so we were not able to eat there because we never made reservation but no one told us we need to make one. Priorities should be to hotel guests; if not let guests know the requirement for reservation. Activities booked through hotels are about 4x overpriced than outside. The villa has a lot of mosquitoes despite there's mosquito coil - if the hotel is going to charge 5 star prices, they should clear mosquitoes at least and arrange a proper pick-up transfer service (where 5 star hotels provide at a fee). The boat drop us off at a dock and we had to drag our luggage to the hotel. We had to wait at some dingy little place (so called private jetty of the hotel) when we arrive and no one knew we were arriving (although we had informed the hotel of our arrival time) and had to wait for 20-30 mins until the boat shows up.
We stayed there for a belated honeymoon. The resort allows you to happily stay in the comfort and tranquillity of your villa as well as venture out on trips that are perfectly arranged by Kokomo. The food is fantastic whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is outstanding. Thanks to the Kokomo staff that made us feel at home and looked after us very well!
We enjoyed out stay at this hotel and would stay again because we liked the location. We got a room with private plunge pool, which is a bit on the small side but nice to dip into to cool off. I would call this a 4 star hotel. We liked the location because it was not to far from the surf break on the island. The staff is friendly. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was disappointing as the roof was falling apart and there was mildew in the shower and a few mosquitos. They come and light a punk each night for the outdoor area, but we moved it into the bathroom. It would be nice if they had some place to put your suitcase where it would be off the ground. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we love this island.
Had a lovely time at this hotel. My kids loved the private pool in the villa. Super nice staffs. They helped us arrange transport and babysitter. Like everything else, bargain a little on the prices.
