On the beautiful beach, this hotel sits in floral gardens, offering budget rooms and luxury two-bedroom villas near the charming Sanur village. You can choose simple fan-only pastel rooms, comfortable air conditioned rooms, or a luxury villa. Nearby excursions include rides at the Camel Safari and Elephant Safari Park, Butterfly Park, the Zoo, and the color of Eka Karya Botanic Garden. A few minutes from the hotel, you will fine shopping and many restaurants. The large pool is a delight for a tall drink and where water sport activities can be arranged. A meal in the dining room followed by a stroll on the beach is a great way to end the day.

Laghawa Beach Inn Hotel
Show reviews that mention
I liked Laghawa hotel because it was close to the beach, and the hotel had canoes that we could rent. The beach at Sanur has a barrier reef so it's very safe for the kids to swim without waves or undertow. The only drawback for our period of stay was that there had been some flooding due to some lunar influence, and trash had washed up onto the beach subsequently, but it's only an annual occurrence so typically, it doesn't create trouble. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were adequate for us.
What a great location and value for money”
Have been before and have already booked again for my next trip back to Bali. Great value for money, pool and grounds area are private and quiet just tucked away from Beach. Staff fantastic and can't do enough for you. Standard room little dated and definitely worth the little extra to get delux room which was great. Definitely value for money and am going back for my forth time to this hotel.
Great standard style accommodation ”
laghawa was recommended to me and i now would recommend this hotel to others looking for a budget/standard style accommodation. basic clean rooms in an ideal location. beach and street front right in the centre of the restaurant precinct of sanur. nice pool area, gardens and air cond rooms with friendly staff. if you are searching for 5 star, this is not your place. perfect for the budget conscious wanting location.
Lovely hotel, great location, peaceful, good value”
We really enjoyed our time here. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful and create a great oasis away from the busy street. This area is recommended for those who want to be away from the nightclub scene.
Had 2 x 4 day stays here over a month. The first 4 days I stayed in deluxe room. This was small and dark and felt claustrophobic. My luggage was delayed. Reception staff did not advise me it was in reception until I asked staff to contact airport. Basic breakfast. Lovely gardens. Pool area quiet. 2 min walk to beach. The next 4 days I paid an extra £5 a night to upgrade to super deluxe and what a difference it made. Lovely room. Staff friendly. Across the road from a new supetmarket so very convenient
Excellent location with great places to eat nearby. The grounds and pool are well maintained with an easy walk to the beach. The room is small and clean with a fridge and TV, unfortuantely they did not work.
We had booked a Deluxe room and on arrival we weren't very happy with what we we were given. The bathroom walls were very moldy and a very small room with old box tv. Being 2am I asked for a swap and was given another room which was bigger and awesome air con so decided to stay with that till the morning. Traveling with friends their bath was leaking and no hot water so we both went to change rooms first thing in next day. Where taken to rooms 103 and 104 which were lovely rooms and had obviously been recently renovated. Very happy with these rooms and would recommend booking rooms 101-105 as these rooms seemed to be the best. Staff were very accommodating and always willing to help when needed. beautiful swimming pool area also and beach access was a big tick for us. All and all a nice place to stay for the price and the location is just perfect
Value for money traditional style budget hotel. ”
Traditional style hotel in a great location. Big pool, nice gardens. Its a bit dated but the beds are comfortable, the air conditioners and showers work. The staff are friendly and very helpful, we have stayed many times and will continue to do so. You can also walk through to the beach.
Very good value to the location”
I can recommend this hotel as location is from one side in centre of Sanur and has back exit to beach. Nice swimming pool. Only minus: not good restaurant but around a lot of very good one. Very helpful staff.
Nice old style hotel with a traditional Bali feel. Great location in centre of Sanur with beach.”
Nice rooms and patios in lovely gardens, in need of some updating and 5 rooms being refurbished at time of visit. Lovely swimming pool in the garden and hotel has own beach front with 10 loungers. Great location for walking up and down the beach path which is 4km long. Breakfast OK.
Would stay there again”
As a family with 3 teenage children, we booked two rooms. I chose the Laghawa based on it being moderately priced, excellent location in the middle of Sanur and easy access to the beach. This is an older property with classic Balinese styling, lovely established gardens, a good size pool and friendly staff. The rooms were large and clean and although the bathrooms are a bit aged, everything was in good working order with plenty of hot water. Agoda states that there is free wifi in all rooms but we were unable to get a wifi connection in either of our rooms, although we could get a weak wifi connection on the patios outside the rooms. Wifi in public areas including around the pool was fine. Breakfast was good and plentiful with both western and Indonesian options. We ate dinner in the restaurant only once - the food was fine but the service was terrible. Some of the waitstaff seemed very inexperienced and one in particular, virtually incompetent. My husband requested a beer 3 times and eventually had to go to the bar to get it himself. Additionally, when we order our meals my teenage son expressed concern that the waiter hadn't written down the order for 3 of the 5 main courses ordered. Sure enough, the meals didn't materialise. The two senior waitstaff appeared more interested in spruiking to passersby than what was actually going on in the restaurant. This was the only real complaint we had about the Laghawa so I hope they can get their act together. Would we stay there again? Yes definitely. Despite the shortfalls with the restaurant, the location means there are a plenty of good places to eat within a minutes walk of the hotel. There's also an excellent mini-mart right across the street which was very handy.
3rd time we have stayed here and we have found it good value for $. Located in central sanur making it a short walk from the shops, restaurants etc. also a short stroll to the beach past the massage salon which offer a great massage. The pool is a good size and nice n clean the facility's are a little dated but in fair condition for the 30 odd years it has been there.
Rooms are okay but very small and dated. Some maintenance issues, central but access to beach difficult. Good access to restaurants in street behind. It's okay for price but a lot of other options nearby.
staff very unfriendly and "not interested". Overpriced for what you get. We paid for deluxe room but i suspect we had a standard room. breakfast was disappointing. the last day we stayed until 5.30pm and asked for late checkout fee. They tried to charge us a full night instead. Only after putting up a fight did they agree. We won't go back. Other than that the grounds are wonderful, and access to beach is great. It can be very nice and quiet. If they lift their service, price it more reasonably and change their attitude it could be a great hotel.
Great location ”
Great little hotel in a great location. Rooms were a good size and comfortable however I do not think we were in a standard room not a deluxe room as I had booked. Breakfast was a little bit of a bore but ok.
Great hotel close to the beach”
We had such a great time at Laghawa that we decided to return from Seminyak a few days later. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile, yet you feel at home at Laghawa. There is direct beach access and a great casual beach restaurant which has good food and drinks for when you want to spend the day at the beach. Many other restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended!
right in the middle of everything”
Amazing place. Right in the middle of everything... Shopping, restaurants, bars, beach...walk to it all. The hotel in general is fantastic. .clean, quiet and like an oasis. Front desk staff could be more friendly and helpful. Room definitely needs updating. Just a little facelift would be sufficient. Would stay again!!!!
Stayed here last July/August with a group, hence our return with a different group this July. What's not to like. Great location as it is close to all amenities, restaurants, shops and beach. Great size pool with plenty of sun lounges. Beautiful gardens. Great bar staff. Any issues with rooms were dealt with swiftly by hotel management. It would respond well to some updating, however our room 121 was clean and tidy and well proportioned. Wifi wasn't an issue in the room or restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for another visit. Thanks to the management and staff for another great holiday.
I had a very pleasant stay at Laghawa Beach Hotel. It is very peaceful in a beautiful garden. I liked the beach access including the free sunlounges for hotel guests. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was ok. The only thing I can complain, is that it takes very long to get hot water. When I wanted to take a bath the first night, I got only cold water and I thought, the hot water system was broken. Then the staff explained, they have a manual system and I have to let the water run, until it is hot.
Good price valuable quality ”
The hotel will serve you as if you are one of the holder of the bungalows. The placement of the rooms tend to make you feel to be close with the environment since no sophisticated buildings tries to make you far from the nature. It is just 5minutes away from the beach. But don't expect a wonderful beach one, since the beaches in Sanur is populated. However, this hotel is worth for those who try to find decent rooms with modest price. Breakfast, water heater, television and clean sheets are ensured to be provided by the hotel. So it is worth to try.
