Le Méridien Heliopolis
the hotel has a good location in Heliopolis near to most of the areas where business travelers need in Heliopolis
Dirty and dusty! Be aware of HIDDEN costs = the Agoda price calculation is incorrect! Breakfast is expensive and so-so... Proximity to the airport is good! Well, if you can afford; find a better solution!
Good experience ”
A bit dated though
Business meetings in Cairo”
Shuttle service to/from the airport, a ten-minute drive away. Ample lounge area for meetings. Rooms, facing the back of the hotel, serviceable and quiet. Workout area small but satisfactory. The dining is overpriced both for breakfast and dinner but satisfactory for those with budget. I stay there because it avoids Cairo traffic and because my meetings are with companies in Heliopolis. It does need a significant face lift very soon!
Been staying here for years, which is why I return. Facilities and rooms are in need of a full makeover, which isn't likely to happen in Egypt's current economic environment. Good shuttle service to and from the airport. Breakfast service pricey and falling off in quality. It's an option but hardly the only one in Heliopolis.
Reception was fantastic (islam) ”
There was a receptionist named islam who was extremely helpful and made my stay in Cairo very enjoyable. 5* service
Good hotel for business traveler Gym is so tiny
not bad experience”
check in and check out was not fast due to limited number of employees at reception. room was specious and clean. staff were friendly. I faced a problem with internet connection and I needed to contact business center many times till they solved it

OK hotel with costly food”
- It was ok... good staff behaviour - room was good, spacious - Bathroom was not good - Food is tasty but costly with less portions - Airport transfer is good facility
Good Hotel, ”
Good stay and nothing wrong. If you want to be in Heliopolis area it is a good hotel to stay at.
One of the best hotels in town near the city center of Alexandria. Also there is free parking if you come by car. wifi internet is free in the room. For breakfast there is a lot of choice.
Good Hotel,Rooms Small”
The location of the hotel is very good..few good resturants to be added..>Rest all is fine
very nice hotel to stay”
Nice hotel, nice area”
Situated on the edge of Ard El Golf in Heliopolis, which is a charming neighborhood to walk round in, very Cairene, but at the same time upscale, with many grand old villas – some of them spectacularly renovated. Across the busy facing street of al Ouroba begins the heart of the old neighborhood of Heliopolis, one of the nicest in Cairo. (Trivia note: the hotel is facing the villa once owned by Yasser Arafat on Orouba St.) A very short walk or taxi ride away is Midan Korba (where one of the presidential palaces is located), and Midan Roxy, the two main squares of central Heliopolis. The neighborhood is far from the center of town, but if you want a nice hotel in a lovely residential Cairene neighborhood near, but not right next to the airport, this one is for you.
