Longuinhos Beach Resort
Amazing view from bedroom and helpful staff ”
The resort is located just at the nice sandy beach of Colva with an own entry to its premises. The view from the restaurant and the bedrooms is just wonderful. We were first given a room on the first floor with dirty windows. However, when we complained, we could move into a room with its own little terrace which offers an amazing view to the garden and sea. The price-performance ratio is very good as the resort offers a decent standart with swimming-pool, restaurant, massage, tour desk... The staff was friendly and helpful. As we did a bicycle trip in early morning, they replaced breakfast and gave us a lunch package instead. What was a bit awkward is the proximity of the resort to the shacks of poor people near the main gate. However, there are no savety problems. What we regretted is that there is no box for tips for the whole staff (including gardeners, cleaning staff, cooks , guards...).
Sea view luxury room compensate for every other shortfall. It's just wow. Beach is just 100 mtrs away. Breakfast was nice. Food was good as well and not very expensive. Staff is courteous and helpful. Cleanliness can be improved. Nice swimming pool. Beach was clean. Less crowded. The only problem I faced was reception not picking the phone. 50% of the time, room service number won't answer. Rest everything was great.
Expensive without much facilities, maintenance too bit weak, services too low.
worst stay apart from beautiful location. ”
There are lot of Ants in the room and staff was not friendly, and giving rude answers specially at front Desk and during breakfast time. room interior is pretty old and broken
Great location, great views from the luxury sea facing room, on the beach”
Great location, great views from the luxury sea facing room, Right on the beach. Beach not crowded, good crowd, and this was when the whole city was packed. Room was very comfortable, service was good. The only relevant improvement i would make is the cleanliness of towels and sheets( wasnt really bad bit expected better), else its a great place. Will recommend strongly.
We choose this hotel as it was on the beach, and we were not disappointed. This hotel is a traditional Goan hotel, although it has no wow factor, it is very friendly, comfortable, clean, relaxing and a lovely place to stay. The house keeping staff were second to none, supplying our every need, and every day created fun towel art - consisting of crocodiles, puppies, and scorpions. Loved the Goan food selection at breakfast . Thank you .
No management at all”
Really bad management from the manager Adam He was only present in the morning and never in the day Staff need major training on our arrival we had to ask to get the toilet cleaned as it was disgusting It's all about money nothing towards service The restaurant was a complete and utter disaster cats allowed to come in to the dinning area and beg for food chefs not competent on the menu provided anything you asked for was either not available or we where told by the watering staff that the chef cannot cook the items requested even though we requested from the in house menu The staff in the restaurant think a client complaint is a joke and laugh and joke amongst each other while you are eating melvin who seems to be the manager sits behind the bar doing absolutely nothing just ordering the other staff around We will never return to this establishment we where truly disappointed as the venue is great and it takes the management to run it down
Room smelled of smoke and alcohol”
I will not stay there again
Stay was awesomesauce”
I would love to be here every time when I visit Goa
As i have booked for 3 days & 3 rooms the Deluxe rooms the Pool facing , I got 3 most corner rooms of the hotels even booked prior to 45 days in advance. The Rooms are untidy that spider webs were clearly visible in the corners of the rooms . Lizard & catepillars were common in the rooms. Door Looks were not working properly.Even i of us checked in 303 where A/Cs was not working at all. They have faced huge problem & the Hotel shifted the rooms after a long time in the night 11 p.m. For my it was just waste of money in the hotel like it.They are saying them as 3 star my foot .en They are not even 2 star.
Stay at Longuinhos”
a young phd scholar's review”
Let's talk about something unsatisfactory: 1) no free wifi. in order to have wifi service for one hour, one has to pay 110 Rs -- absurdly high compared to elsewhere in the world 2) the bed and sheets are all sort of wet or humid, because of the closeness to beach, which is unavoidable but still uncomfortable 3) it is costly and inconvenient for one to go to the airport. To be more specific, take my experience as an example: I took a prepaid taxi from the airport to the hotel, costing me 500 Rs, this is Day Zero; At the end of my vacation, when I asked the front desk to book a taxi to transport me to the airport, the receptionist I requested made a personal phone call and then told me, the trip would cost 600 Rs; What was more interning came when I asked one of two female owners of the hotel to get a taxi for me, she gave a even higher price, 800 Rs while throwing all sorts of excuses for this absurd amount of charge. Greedy is the word that I did not say to her over the phone.
An average resort - favouring foreigners”
The stay was good because of location . We were three couples with a kid . After staying in Golden Palms , Colva ( just 250 mtr away )we stayed in this resort. Pros : Location , View from Rooms Cons The front office team ( reservation / check-in etc.) was of trainees . Who say "NO" for every thing. bath towel - No etc etc. Seems like in mood of confrontation always. They speak with different attitude ( more polite ) with foreigners , while for Indians ( we were only Indian tourist )without smile - more rude. The rooms 118 in ground floor had a very bad bathroom ,the ceiling was leaking (water from bathroom above ) Hotel cleanliness was just average , with 7-10 housekeeping staff talking in groups ,just behind the room I have been travelling across , but such different attitude was never witnessed. In short the behavior of team + the room conditions need a big push from management Not advisable for Indian tourist
not a three star”
i was very disappointed with the staff and the policies. To pay 200 rupees per hour for the internet is ridiculous especially as the overall price was high
View from my window”
Very nice, pleasant, congenial. I just wish I had visited Colva proper to enjoy the market. I suggested private safety deposit boxes to the manager.
Very well located”
stay in the newly renovated Luxury Rooms, the resort is on the beach and has an excellent view of the sea from anywhere in the resort, its very close to colva and easy to get around
hidden gem not far from a crowded beach.”
Hotel has awkward timings to lock up the beach entrance gate after which guests are advised to take a long walk around the resort and enter from the front gate. The food was just amazing, anything I ate there was just perfectly prepapred. Rooms were ok. Little old but not bad. If the hotel invests some more money in renovation and gets individual stb for the tv it would be nice. I stayed for three days and had taken two rooms. It was raining outside for two days so had to sit and watch tv. But the signal was bad in one room. And there was no signal in the other room. The hotel really needs to get new tv's and a dth set top box as cable transmission is not good.
Best place with perfect view”
A perfect selection of the hotel which we choose & the dinner was awesome , pool and beach access was excellent
stay at longuinhos - not the best!”
The room was very shabby. Basic facilities such as: Laundry bag, moisturizer, etc were missing. The hotel staff were also least helpful. The room had this stench that never got better. Overall it was claustrophobic.
